Physician / Family Practice / Outpatient Job Responsibilities and Requirements As a Family Practice Physician you will be responsible for planning and implementation of the primary care service delivery to patients per health care plan and written protocols.
Provide primary, secondary and tertiary care, including counseling and referral within multidisciplinary team.
Additional responsibilities and requirements for the Family Practice Physician include: Monday and Friday 8am-5pm Tuesday Thursday 8am-8pm Saturday-9am-1pm optional 8 sessions clinical + 2 sessions administrative On-call is (1) day per week and (1-3) weekend per month Evenings (T-Th available) Saturdays am available No Outpatient 20-21 Patients per day Medical Degree (MD or DO) Board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine Current licensure by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance licensure for prescriptive authority Eligible for unrestricted health center and hospital privileges at facilities utilized by the health center Effective verbal and written communication skills Location Located in the naturally beautiful and historic, Fitchburg, MA, Our client is focused on providing compassionate and patient centered healthcare.
