- Provide confident acute reads, including stroke/perfusion imaging, to support emergent clinical decision-making
- Support a broad subspecialty case mix including ER, MSK, neuro, pediatrics, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Perform light IR procedures as needed, including biopsies (e.g., thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal; CT- or US-guided), drainages (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainage, chest tubes, cyst drainage), lumbar punctures (diagnostic LP, myelogram, epidural), and arthrograms (knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle)
- Communicate critical findings promptly and collaborate with referring providers and care teams to ensure safe, coordinated patient care

- Familiarity with outpatient urology clinic workflow and OR procedures
- Preferred procedural experience (helpful for OR-heavy shifts):
- Endoscopic procedures, ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL)
- Laparoscopic/robotic prostatectomy, radical cystectomy, nephrectomy
- Pelvic lymph node dissection, adrenalectomy, renal/bladder ultrasound, TRUS biopsies
- Incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, ESWL, fertility evaluations
- Renal transplant and advanced pediatric urology (a plus)
Responsibilities – Clinician & Surgeon
- Deliver comprehensive general urology care in outpatient clinic settings: evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment planning
- Perform urologic procedures and surgeries in the OR with high-quality perioperative and postoperative care
- Participate in scheduled system call coverage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the health system
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely; communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Support regional outreach clinics (e.g., Wisconsin Rapids) to expand access to urology services across Central Wisconsin
