About the Role

We are hiring a Backend Engineer who can design, implement, and maintain the robust, scalable server-side systems that power our platform. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks focused on data integrity, API performance, and system reliability, working on features from the database all the way through to serving the application's core logic.

Experience:



• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.



• Must have at least 18 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.



• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.



• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.



• Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months



Requirements:



• Candidates must have a Alabama license or compact license (required for submission).



• This role will require floating to multiple units



• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.



• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.



• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Baptist Health UAB and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Baptist Health UAB.

Floating Requirements: MS-MS, MS-ICU task, MS-ER/MS holds; ICU-ICU, ICU-MS task or limit of 3, ICU-ER/ICU holds



You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
