Vice President of Finance - In-Office, Atlanta

As the Vice President of Finance, you will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and play a critical, wide-ranging role within the organization. You will report directly to the CEO and lead the company’s financial and accounting operations, reporting infrastructure, and forward-looking financial strategy.

Our client has a real estate portfolio that has grown quickly in recent years, and currently consists of 37 assets, spread across 18 states, and valued at more than $700 million. Thie Vice President of Finance is expected to develop and incorporate best-in-class tools and strategies that increase visibility into their corporate operations and improve strategic decision-making.

They have a lean and entrepreneurial structure, so this position is best suited for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable. The ideal candidate is eager to take ownership of high-stakes projects at one of the most active development platforms in the industry. This role is very hands-on with responsibilities evenly split between accounting and reporting (50%) and forward-looking financial planning and strategy (50%).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounting & Financial Operations (50%)
• Oversee all accounting activities, including general ledger, month-end close, financial statement preparation, and tax filings
• Build scalable accounting and reporting infrastructure and policies for internal stakeholders and external investors
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
• Manage external relationships including auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial partners
• Oversee cash management and working capital
• Improve automation, reporting cadence, and data integrity.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive experience across accounting and finance roles
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a proven ability to translate financial data into business insights

What you'll do:

• Provide care for acute medical concerns as well as offering same-day and next-day access to patients with time-sensitive needs–without having your own patient panel
• Work flexible hours, including evenings (after 5 p.m.) and weekends, as our clinics operate 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. 365 days per year

The Opportunity

As a Per Diem Float Medical Receptionist, internally known as a Flex Member Support Specialist (Casual), you will be an ambassador for patients in office, with a mastery of human connection and a strong drive for service. You will remove barriers to care, resulting in a truly exceptional in-office patient experience. You are the steward of the space and ensure the look and feel of the office lobby are on brand with the One Medical experience. You will be the first point of contact for patient feedback, as well as provide any other support as requested by the Practice Coordinator, Operations Manager, or in office providers. Our Flex Member Support Specialists (Casual) support multiple offices in a MSA.

What you'll likely work on:

• Use impeccable C-I-CARE (a framework containing the key elements of a great interaction and effective communication that we use with patients and each other) in all patient interactions and ensure a fluid and positive in-office experience through patient intake, same day schedule management, appropriate follow up scheduling, strong knowledge of billing and insurance, monitoring patient feedback and assisting with outreach as necessary
• All front of house duties including check in/check out, insurance verification, printing/paperwork tasks, prepping tests, tasking to service level expectations etc
• Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, participating in team problem solving, supporting in office providers with ad hoc asks, etc.
• Master our technology suite including but not limited to Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System 1Life, in order to interact with team members and patients and complete daily work

What you'll be working on:

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
• State licensed in Texas, obtained by your One Medical start date

• 8-23 patient care hours per week

What you'll be working on:

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Completed an accredited NP program with a national certification
• 103 NP or 104 NP categorized NP in California, able to practice autonomously without physician supervision
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:

  • 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting, coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
• State licensed in CA, obtained by your One Medical start date

The hourly rate for this role is $96.00. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. What you'll do:

• Provide care for acute medical concerns as well as offering same-day and next-day access to patients with time-sensitive needs–without having your own patient panel
• Work flexible hours, including evenings (after 5 p.m.) and weekends, as our clinics operate 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. 365 days per year
• Address a broad range of concerns such as chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, headaches, URIs, UTIs, STI testing/treatment, laceration repair, I&Ds, wound care, musculoskeletal injuries, short-term medication refills, acute mental health triage, and time-sensitive post-hospital follow-ups; Successful applicants will be comfortable with initial management of acute changes in chronic conditions
• Stay up to date on evidence-based urgent care practices and maintain working knowledge of common primary care issues (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, depression/anxiety)
• Complete thorough documentation for all patient encounters including procedures

You'll be set up for success if you have:

• The desire to be an integral part of a rapidly growing team of clinicians dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
• An interest in using technology to deliver high quality, evidence-based care
• Excellent clinical and communication skills
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing ages (18+)
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
• The ability to work at least 3 major holidays a year
• The ability to work two full weekends per month (4 shifts)
• The ability to work between the hours of 8am-9pm
• State licensing in California, obtained by your One Medical start date

This is full-time role based in San Francisco, CA at our Duboce Triangle office.

The base salary range for this role is $325,200 - $345,900 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
