Responsibilities & Expectations:
We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist for IPS, you will identify problems and make necessary adjustments as they relate to industrial AC/DC electric motors and generators. You will use a variety of manual machine tools and balancing equipment for rotating machinery, while following service center safety procedures. You will need to have excellent attention to detail and an ability to work from drawings, sketches, and blueprints. Please view the following day-to-day responsibilities: Diagnose incoming units, disassemble, repair, assemble, and prepare items for shipment
- Operate conventional manual machining tools including engine lathes, horizontal lathes, milling machines, grinders, drilling machines, and related equipment
- Safely use overhead, gantry cranes, and lift trucks, and associated lift rigging
- Perform mechanical measurements using portable mechanical instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, and portable vibration measurement equipment
- Machine and fabricate parts using engine lathes, grinders and drill presses
- Draw accurate prints for parts needing to be fabricated
Qualifications and Competencies:
- At least 2 years of related experience, 6 years preferred using manual machining equipment, or equivalent education and experience preferred
- Ability to read micrometer measuring equipment
- Motor shop, machine shop, tool & die stamping, or oil field experience preferred
- Ability to operate manual lathes of various sizes and dimensions
- Ability to operate electroplating equipment
- Ability to work with tolerances of +/- .001

Powers Miller is a 10-attorney Roseville insurance defense law firm seeking an attorney. The attorney must have an active California Bar License in good standing.
What can you expect from Powers Miller? The case load is diverse, and you can anticipate working on personal injury actions involving motor vehicle accidents, products liability, homeowners’ claims, premises liability and commercial litigation. The new associate will work with the partners and handle depositions, pre-trial preparation, hearings, mediations, and appeals. - Responsible for answering incoming calls to the service department.
- Handle internal and external customer inquiries as they pertain to specific work orders, jobs, projects
- Prepare service quotes based on internal and external customer needs
- Scheduling Service Technicians for service jobs and projects with a goal to achieve 85% billable rate or higher.

Job Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist at Hanwha Power Systems Americas is responsible for the oversight of mission-critical turbomachinery parts and equipment. This role focuses on maintaining real-time inventory accuracy, managing critical part stocking operations for domestic and international shipments, and ensuring seamless shipment preparation and fulfillment to support HPSA’s global and domestic customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Part Stocking & Logistics Support
- Coordinate the arrival and storage of critical spare parts at our Houston Service facility.
- Validate received materials against shipping documents (BOL) for accuracy in item counts and quality.
- Maintain accurate reporting of inventory levels and generate requisitions for replenishment of stock.
Shipment Preparation & Fulfillment
- Oversee the packing and labeling of high-precision turbomachinery components for safe transport.
- Schedule and dispatch LTL and general shipping carriers (Fed-Ex/UPS) for on-time delivery to customer sites.

Inventory Control & Auditing

The Manufacturing, QC and Product Engineering Intern will work in our product engineering department, quality department, and manufacturing engineering departments. The Manufacturing and Product Engineering Intern will be responsible in working with group of interns on a group project. This opportunity will grant the individual exposure to automated manufacturing, improvement of our handling of product specifications and/or helping us to better predict the impact of primary/secondary processes on our products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Work with staff on improvement/organizational projects for the organization
- 3D/2D modeling of fixturing, manufacturing components and/or floor plans, as assigned.
- Assist Engineering with dimensional/process/ raw material studies to improve production, as assigned.
- Creation/Update of controlled documents (DRWs, SOPs, etc.), as assigned.
- Other tasks/functions as assigned.
Requirements:
- College Student pursuing a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D, AutoDesk, and Inventor 3D.
- Basic knowledge in Adobe Acrobat.
