Qualifications You Must Have

The Advanced BioImaging Center (ABC) in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a Professional Researcher at the Assistant, Associate, or Full rank. The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank to commensurate with prior experience. The position will report to Professor Gokul Upadhyayula, with Professor Eric Betzig serving as an additional academic mentor. The researcher will conduct independent research at a level comparable to the Professor series.

The Advanced BioImaging Center (ABC) at UC Berkeley aspires to be a world-leading multidisciplinary imaging center that drives important biological discoveries through critical new advances in all aspects of imaging technology and that drives the dissemination of that technology through a multi-pronged education strategy to scientists around the world. ABC was intentionally designed to maximize scientific productivity and impact by adopting groundbreaking imaging technologies such as the next-generation adaptive optical multifunctional microscope, incorporating the high-level technical expertise of instrumentation scientists, applied mathematicians, and computational scientists, and building worldwide collaborations aimed at tackling the challenges posed by terabyte and petabyte-scale imaging data processing, visualization, and dissemination. Members of the ABC have access to leading - edge imaging and computing hardware, as well as exposure to collaborators from a range of diverse disciplines, including in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, and more.

This position will focus on advanced, independent research leading the ABC computational team to develop vision-transformer-based foundation machine learning models. The Researcher will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of optical physicists, engineers, and computational imaging researchers to achieve the ambitious goal of creating a generative AI model for segmenting and querying complex 4D high-resolution data of zebrafish development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advancing biological imaging and AI-driven data analysis at the intersection of biology and computational science.

As this project grows, the individual will be expected to expand their leadership and adapt to the evolving scope of the research. The role will begin with leading efforts to supervise data collection and management, model development, and collaborating with leadership across the center. The researcher will build and manage a team of data scientists, and computational biologists to test AI-driven imaging models and will facilitate scientific collaborations with local, domestic, and international researchers. This position will take on a growing role and contribute to a groundbreaking initiative in biological imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

*Conduct and design independent research and lead a team of data scientists and software engineers to enable the development of state-of-the-art AI models for light sheet microscopy data.

*Collaborate with experts in optical physics, engineering, and computational imaging to support a foundational AI model for high-resolution developmental biology data.

*Conduct and lead experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis pipelines to ensure optimal data quality.

*Facilitate and maintain scientific collaborations with local, domestic, and international researchers as the project expands.

*Publish research findings in high-impact journals and presenting at scientific conferences.

*Supervise and mentor graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, staff scientists, and academic research titles involved in machine learning and biological data analysis.

*Lead the development of new AI models and data processing tools for datasets generated on multicellular tissues, organoids, transparent embryos.

*Oversee the design and development of new machine learning tools for petabyte-scale light sheet datasets that are typically 4D or 5D (x,y,z,t,chemistry).

The incumbents will develop and refine machine learning applications and manage projects and provide regular progress reports to PIs and collaborators.

Successful candidates will be an integral part of the expert team working together with computational scientists and biologists in experimental design to tackle complex biological questions in a quantitative manner. The work will primarily be conducted at the facility in Barker Hall. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

*Make significant and creative contributions to development of new imaging and data processing tools for datasets generated on multicellular tissues, organoids, transparent embryos.

The Global Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining key customer accounts, working both independently and in collaboration with an account team. This role has both strategic and tactical responsibilities. The Global Account Manager ensures that Cohu is positioned for long‑term success with assigned customers by aligning internal resources and coordinating operational execution to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Maintain overall responsibility for managing Cohu’s business and relationships with assigned customer accounts. Collaborate with global cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales, Finance, Operations) to communicate customer expectations and ensure Cohu is meeting bookings targets and achieving desired market share.

• Serve as the primary internal and external contact for customer issues. Lead meetings to define and present technical information and drive delivery schedule communications.

• Maintain visibility into customer operations and plans. Identify and address potential gaps in Cohu’s performance before they escalate. Monitor and communicate customer strategy shifts that may impact Cohu’s business.

• Create and deliver technical presentations as needed.

• Prepare and distribute regular reports documenting account activities, key events, status updates, and action items.

• Take ownership of customer satisfaction scorecards; address issues with urgency to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Prepare timely responses to RFQs and RFIs.

• Lead contract negotiations, collaborating with internal stakeholders to define negotiation strategies and achieve optimal results.

• Provide leadership in setting work priorities and schedules across the organization to support customer needs.

• Identify, define, and develop new business opportunities.

• Prepare accurate and timely forecasts.

• Coordinate and host customer meetings and conference calls. Lead or participate in Equipment User Group meetings as appropriate.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering with emphasis in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in the semiconductor equipment industry or related business, serving in a sales, service, or marketing capacity as a supplier or user of back‑end equipment.

• Experience working with customers manufacturing AI-, ML-, or HPC‑class semiconductor devices—such as Nvidia, Google, Microsoft, Apple, OpenAI (ChatGPT), or similar advanced computing chipmakers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide medical physics quality assurance, testing, and consulting services as needed to fulfill its mission. These testing activities will involve MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound. In addition, some nuclear medicine consulting and licensing activities will be performed.
• Provide ACR MRI, CT, NM/PET, US, and mammography accreditation services and data review to customers within the state of Arkansas and surrounding states.
• Occasionally speak at seminars, trade shows, and represent WEST PHYSICS’ vendor booth at such events to bring in new business and enhance the company’s reputation. This will involve delivering lectures, presentations, etc., for these events.
• Perform dosimetry review, worker and patient dose estimates, fetal dose estimates, and conduct dose investigations and ALARA reviews.

• Assist medical physicists and senior medical physicists with diagnostic radiology equipment testing.

Prerequisites:

• M.S. degree (M.S.) in Medical Physics or a physics-related discipline. (Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, etc.)
• Solid foundation in radiation physics, radiation biology, electronics, and other areas relevant to equipment quality assurance testing.
• At least 3 years of documented experience in the diagnostic imaging/clinical environment.
• Must meet current ACR requirements for the performance of accreditation-related testing of MRI and CT units.
• MQSA approved (preferred).

• Participate in the development and updating of plans for patient care that are medically appropriate, meet LHPC standards and guidelines, and are consistent with accepted hospice and palliative care standards.
• Provide clinical care in collaboration with the IDG, including, but not limited to;Clinical Assessment/Prescribing and adjustment of cost-effective medications (as per license and DEA registration) including consulting the PA Prescription Drug Monitoring Program profile as required.
• Appropriate ordering of DME
• Appropriate ordering and interpretation of radiological and laboratory tests
• Participation in rotating on-call availability
• Education of patients and families as needed in collaboration with the IDG
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation in accord with organizational policies to support sound hospice practices and facilitate appropriate reimbursement of services.
• Assist in education of hospice clinical staff, facility staff, and patients and families:
• Disease trajectory
• Potential signs and symptoms of disease progression
• Pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic management of symptoms
• Medication stewardship including appropriate de-prescribing
• End-of-life signs and symptoms.
• Adhere to confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff, and the organization.
• Help assure agency compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
• Maintain continuing education for professional licensure, certification, and competence.
• Support the organization’s Mission and Value Performance Standards.

Palliative Nurse Practitioner Minimum Qualifications:

• NP with graduation from an accredited training program and current licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.
• State drivers’ license in good standing.
• Automobile in good working order and insured in accordance with the applicable state laws (proof of insurance to be provided annually).
• Minimum two years-experience; experience in the area of geriatrics, home care, or hospice preferred.
• Certification in Hospice and/or Palliative Care preferred
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
• Self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision.
• High proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, cellular technology, and EMR.

Position Purpose:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain of the organization, including international sites. This role involves planning, coordinating, and optimizing the flow of goods, services, information, and finances from the point of origin to the point of consumption. Additionally, they will anticipate disruptions and establish effective plans to address challenges in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the supply chain team, including training, performance management and more
• Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment
• Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews with team members

Operations

• Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics
• Challenge the status quo to Identify, implement and document process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

Supply Chain Strategy

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for planning, sourcing, manufacturing, delivery, disposal, etc. and align it with business goals and the S&OP process
• Monitor market trends and performance metrics to adjust strategies as needed

Shipping and Receiving

• Oversee all inbound and outbound shipping activities

Risk Management

• Mitigate risks related to sourcing, transportation and production

Vendor Relations

• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials

• Present and monitor supplier scorecards on a recurring basis, present corrective actions as needed

Data Analysis

• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement
• Implement cost-effective solutions and process enhancements based on data
• Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management

Quality Control

• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Monitor product quality throughout supply chain

Inventory Management

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock
• Coordinate storage and distribution efficiently

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a full time Radiology Technologist to join our Imaging team supporting our Axis Spine clinic!

At Northwest Specialty you would perform radiologic imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of treatment; answering questions. Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors. Maintains production and quality of radiographic images by following established standards and procedures. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures.  

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program.
