The Role

This is a foundational hire working directly with the founder across research, community, events, client relationships, fellow experience, and search execution. One day you may be building cap tables. Another you may be running a mixer for 40 fellows or sitting in on a GP hiring conversation at a top firm.

The title is intentional. You will be in the room early, learning how the best firms operate and earning responsibility as you prove you can carry it. Over time you will own projects and workstreams. The starting point is proximity, pattern recognition, and high output across a wide surface area.

The founder focuses on strategy, vision, brand, community, and high-trust client relationships. Your role is to absorb the operational surface area so his time goes to the work only he can do. Nothing drops while he goes deep.

What the work looks like

• Work side by side with the founder across research, community, content, events, and client delivery
• Own the operational follow-through: prep materials, follow-ups, scheduling, and keeping workstreams moving between meetings
• Conduct research on investors and firms. Build and maintain the Nucleus Brain so the founder can go deeper on priority engagements.
• Collaborate on candidate shortlists and search materials for active client work
• Help coordinate NEXT Fellowship programming, pod logistics, and fellow experience
• Plan and execute community events: mixers, firesides, dinners, partner programming
• Draft and edit external communications: emails, proposals, partnership materials, client decks • Contribute to content across Nucleus Intelligence, Substack, social, and the Rise podcast
• Help shape brand and media presence
• Pick up whatever needs to get done so nothing falls through the cracks

Who you are

• 1 to 2 years in a high-intensity environment: investment banking, management consulting, executive search at a top firm, or an operating role at a venture-funded startup
• Genuinely curious about venture capital, the people in it, and how the industry actually works
• Technical bias. At the least, you are highly analytical by nature and can find information others can't and synthesize it clearly
• Warm, high-energy, and natural with people. You make rooms better when you walk in.
• Excellent writer with a tight, dense style
• Comfortable with ambiguity and context-switching in a fast-moving, founder-led environment
• Based in San Francisco or NYC. Remote will be considered. Must be in the US and be willing to travel.

Compensation

Base: $120-180k DOE

Enterprise Account Manager

Select Exterminating | Enterprise Division

Select Exterminating is building the future of commercial pest management across the Northeast, and we are looking for a high-level Enterprise Account Manager to help lead that charge.

This is not a typical account management role.

This is the highest level Account Manager position in the pest control industry, responsible for managing some of the most sophisticated commercial pest management programs in the region. The Enterprise Account Manager will serve as the central command between enterprise clients and our service operations teams, ensuring flawless execution, transparent reporting, and strategic account growth.

Our Enterprise Division is scaling rapidly, and the individual stepping into this role will oversee a $5M–$7M enterprise book of business, supporting major multi-location clients across the Northeast.

The Role

The Enterprise Account Manager acts as the strategic nucleus between enterprise clients and Select Exterminating’s field operations teams.

You will be responsible for managing complex client relationships, translating service data into executive-level insights, and ensuring our enterprise clients receive the highest level of service delivery in the industry.

This role requires someone who is technically sharp, operationally disciplined, and comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical level.

You will work directly with the Director of Enterprise Accounts, helping drive the continued expansion of Select Exterminating’s enterprise business across multiple states and industries.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Account Leadership

• Manage and grow a $5M–$7M enterprise portfolio of multi-location commercial clients
• Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise stakeholders
• Lead quarterly and annual business reviews with key client leadership teams

Operational Coordination

• Act as the central hub between enterprise clients and field operations
• Coordinate closely with Service Managers, technicians, and operations leadership
• Ensure enterprise service programs are executed consistently across multiple locations

Service Reporting & Data Analysis

• Collect, organize, and analyze service reporting data from field teams
• Translate operational data into clear executive-level reporting for enterprise clients
• Identify risk trends, operational gaps, and improvement opportunities

Client Strategy & Growth

• Identify expansion opportunities within existing enterprise accounts
• Partner with the sales organization to support enterprise growth initiatives
• Manage renewals, contract negotiations, and service program expansions

Technology & CRM Management

• Maintain and manage enterprise client data within CRM platforms
• Utilize reporting tools and service data to improve client transparency and program effectiveness

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who brings both operational intelligence and commercial instincts.

Required Experience

• 3–5+ years of enterprise sales, account management, or strategic client management
• Experience managing large, multi-location commercial clients
• Strong understanding of CRM systems and service reporting tools
• Ability to translate operational data into client-facing insights

Compensation

This role offers one of the strongest compensation structures in the industry.

Base Salary:

$100,000

Commission:

5% on all enterprise sales closed

On Target Earnings (OTE):

$175,000 – $200,000+

As the Enterprise Division continues to scale, this role offers significant earning and leadership growth potential.

Travel

While this position is primarily remote, enterprise accounts span multiple states.

You should expect 10–20% travel across markets including:

• New York
• New Jersey
• Connecticut
• Pennsylvania
• Massachusetts
• Rhode Island

Travel may include site visits, executive client meetings, and operational reviews.

• The incumbent will focus on integrating AI models and applications into high-performance computing (HPC) desktop environments to support prototyping and simulation activities.
• Design, develop, and integrate software applications that enhance engineering workflows, enable advanced data analysis, and support system integration across product development teams.

• Bachelor s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum Experience
  • 8 years in compiler / toolchain integration, preferably in automotiv
    
    
• Other Job-specific Skills
  • Proficiency with industry-standard compilers and toolchains, including NVIDIA HDC SDK, gcc, C programming lang /LLVM
  • IDEs: Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Renesas
  • Experience with build systems such as CMake, Make, and Bazel.  
  • Familiarity with static analysis tools like Coverity and Polyspace for code quality and safety assurance.
  • Strong understanding of embedded architectures, on any of these uPs, e.g. - ARM, PowerPC, x86 and RISC-V, SoCs from Qualcomm, Renesas, NVIDIA
  • Prior experience with ROS and/or any other RTOS, e.g. embedded Linux, Nucleus RTOS, Zephyr RTOS, QNX etc
  • Demonstrated ability to benchmark and analyze toolchain performance for optimization.
  • Skilled in low-level debugging and code analysis to support system reliability and performance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, clarify responsibilities, and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
