Manages patient care in home therapies programs while maintaining cost-effective clinical operations. Provides direction and guidance to the interdisciplinary team providing care to the Home Therapies patients to ensure that the highest standard of care is provided. Collaborates with the Business Unit management team to grow the assigned Home Therapies programs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the operations of multiple Home Therapies programs with direct responsibility for results, including growth, patient retention, program costs, operational methods, scheduling, and staffing.
- Directs activities related to the area’s strategic plans, goals and objectives ensuring alignment with those of the region, division, and company. Implements quality goals and action plans to achieve quality standards.
- Collaborates with operations leaders, market development, in-center leadership and patient education and quality teams to promote home therapies growth in assigned programs.
- Responsible for profit and loss management of the assigned program including optimal performance of program operations to achieve or exceed budgets and key performance indicators.
- Directs and manages all aspects of patient care for Home Therapies patients in assigned programs from admission through discharge of the patient. Provides direction, guidance, and support to staff members to ensure the safe and effective delivery of home therapy support care to patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
- Oversees patient and caregiver readiness and ability to perform dialysis treatments at home and assesses environment for suitability in the ongoing delivery of home dialysis therapy, including training patients and caregivers on the safe and effective operation and preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Manages patient experience efforts by supporting company patient satisfaction initiatives, embodying the company values and patient experience drivers while encouraging others to do the same.
- Ensures competency of staff in the operation of all home dialysis therapy-related equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems with the patient via telephone, maintaining appropriate staff licensures and CPR certifications.
- Responsible for management of program supplies, equipment tracking, ensures that orders are replenished in a consistent and timely manner.
- Directs activities related to the Continuous Quality Assurance Improvement, patient retention and Clinical Algorithm Adoption, patient access management and patient training success.
- Directs data entry related activities such as patient admission, regulatory reporting, billing, physician orders, lab results, vital signs, patient status and any other treatment related data into systems.
- Ensures regulatory, compliance, and audit activities are accomplished on time.
- Orients and supports all new home therapies staff and provides ongoing education, ensuring compliance with all risk management initiatives, including in-center staff.
- Responsible for hiring, coaching, and counseling employees, including performance reviews, disciplinary action, and terminations.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce, partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.

SUPERVISION:

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum of one year nursing experience plus a minimum of six months dialysis nursing experience.
- 3+ years’ supervisory or project/program management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated management skills necessary to provide leadership in the supervision of dialysis personnel and to ensure the delivery of maximum quality care to all patients.

Job Summary
The Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department is seeking Recreation Attendant staff for the North Kirkland Community Center. This position acts as on-site City representative for recreation programs and activities. Nature camp is held outdoors in Kirkland parks. Teaches campers about native animals, flora, fauna, woodlands and bodies of water. Nature art, games, and discoveries fill each day. Nature Camp is Monday-Thursday, June 22-August 13, 9am to 3pm.
The role of the Recreation Attendant is to provide outstanding customer service and assist in providing operational support to recreation programs, facilities, and events within Parks and Community Services. Recreation Attendants serve as the on-site City representative. Recreation Attendants provide operational support including preparing spaces, assisting in leading and monitoring activities, and performing clerical work. Job Summary
Note: This is an On-Call position that is not eligible for benefits.
Being an on-call employee means that your work schedule is not guaranteed, hours worked could range from 0 - 40 hours a week, depending on office needs. SUMMARY:
The program assistant supports and assists with programs, facilities, services, and events within Parks and Community Services (PCS) and serves as a primary customer service agent.
This assignment is for a seasonal, temporary, non-benefited on-call program assistant, to support Kirkland's 4th of July Parade Celebrate Kirkland, hosted by PCS. This seasonal position is anticipated to begin in April and last through July or August, with up to 40 hours of work per week during that time. Most work will be done Monday-Friday at Kirkland City Hall, with occasional weekend or evening shifts. The on-call program assistant must be available to work July 4 and the days immediately preceding and following the holiday.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, the capacity to prioritize tasks and work on a variety of projects with competing deadlines. Candidates should have the ability to be adaptable to new situations, ideas, and challenges and must be able to take initiative and work proactively. Must be self-motivated and work well as part of a supportive team.
This position will work closely with the Celebrate Kirkland team to help plan and carry out the event. Primary tasks include purchasing, vendor and parade entry support, volunteer recruitment and record keeping, marketing and outreach support, and other administrative functions.
The on-call program assistant is the primary contact for vendors, contractors, and volunteers to ensure logistical needs as well as contract terms and conditions are met.
The program assistant also serves as the on-site liaison for several events, facilitating the delivery and set-up of event equipment such as tables, chairs, pop-up canopies, marketing materials, audio-visual equipment and other supplies.

- Coordinates training and scheduling of staff, volunteers, and interns; provides emergency backup staffing as needed.
- Creates and maintains instructor contracts and enters into the City's record management software. Coordinates the processing of contracts.
- Assists with the organization and production of department events (i.e. Green Kirkland Program, community building events, etc.).
- Assists with publicizing and promoting programs, program brochure preparation, and maintaining City webpages.
- Inventories, purchases, maintains, and organizes program supplies and equipment.

Job Summary
This position is responsible for leading the mobile recreation program held at various park sites throughout Kirkland. Must be able to work as a team with other assigned staff and also independently with little supervision. Will perform and oversee the daily operations and activities, which include leading organized games, arts & crafts, and special events. Develops positive, supportive relationships with participants, parents, the public and other department staff. Conducts oneself in a professional manner that represents the City well; be involved and engaged in program & activities with the participants; use promotional materials that promote the program and activities; responsible and tracking of equipment and supplies. Will be responsible for driving a City Recreation van daily to pre-selected playground sites.
The successful candidate must be available to begin work Tuesday and Thursday between 1:00-5:00 and Friday's from 9:00-3:00. Program will start the week of June 26th and conclude the week of Aug 14th. The position has a variable hour work schedule, up to 17 hours per week. Schedule is Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set-up and tear down of program equipment and supplies.

Physical Demands and Working Environment: Work may be performed in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings, including City facilities such as community centers, City parks, Lake Washington School District facilities and off-site locations. Work settings may involve high levels of noise, many people, adverse weather conditions, uneven terrain, standing for extended periods of time, and interruptions. Desk assignments are done at a computer terminal.
Environmental Conditions/Physical Effort: Must be comfortable driving a van to and from work site. Work is primarily performed outside at local parks in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Must be able to lift/carry at least 40lbs.

The client's Office of Corporate Engagement coordinates the global philanthropic efforts of The GS Group including strategic partnerships, charitable giving, and employee community engagement. The Office of Corporate Engagement comprises the GS Foundation (GSF), 10,000 Women, 10,000 Small Businesses, Community TeamWorks (CTW), The client Gives, and other philanthropic and service-oriented endeavors.
The Program Manager is a full-time, temporary position. The selected candidate will manage the CTW program and other employee engagement activities, including pro bono initiatives for nonprofit organizations and small businesses.
CTW is a global employee community engagement program that allows the people of the firm to participate in team-based volunteer projects with nonprofit organizations. Since 1997, CTW has offered opportunities worldwide for employees to contribute their ideas and expertise to drive tangible progress in communities. GS had over 26,000 volunteers last year complete 1,800 projects with 900 nonprofit partners.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Oversee a portfolio of over two hundred CTW volunteer projects in order to ensure the success of program, the internal stakeholder experience, and GS partnerships with community organizations. Responsibilities include project planning and project application review; managing project information on the program's internal web site; serving as main point of contact for nonprofits and internal stakeholders; grants processing; program administration and reporting; and planning, coordinating and overseeing transportation
- Work in partnership with various internal departments to coordinate on-going logistical planning (events, marketing campaign, marketing material distribution, and t-shirt fulfillment; drafting communications and training materials)
- Assist with end of CTW season program evaluation, including data collection and analysis
