The College of Environmental Design (CED) at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified instructors to provide expertise in studio and non-studio courses for the Master of Real Estate Development + Design program (MRED+D) in the following areas: real estate finance, development, law, and professional practice, architecture, construction, economics + market analysis, and equitable + sustainable development should an opening arise.
Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from semester to semester (fall, spring and summer), depending upon the needs of MRED+D program.
TSP Duties: TSPs lend variety and extensive industry and leadership experience to our core Real Estate curriculum by providing 1:1 coaching and career readiness exercises. TSPs do not have responsibility for lectures, assignments, or grading.

UC Berkeley's Academic Talent Development Program (ATDP) offers challenging summer classes for high achieving and motivated young K- 12 scholars. Since 1982, the program has invited excelling students from the Bay Area and around the world into a unique academic community. We look for strong students from all backgrounds who are hardworking, enjoy learning, and are prepared for an intellectually stimulating and demanding summer class. Courses are taught by outstanding public school, private school, and university instructors as well as industry professionals who have deep knowledge of their subject areas and are committed to helping students think and understand deeply.
ATDP's mission is to enable all highly motivated and prepared students to pursue their academic passions through rigorous summer coursework in a community of like-minded peers.
ATDP's Learner Outcomes state that ATDP students will be able to:

Teacher Special Programs (TSP): The TSP will teach within ATDP's summer Elementary Division (ED, grades K-6), Secondary Division (SD, grades 7-12), or Global Programs (GP grades 7-12). This involves designing, and delivering age, grade, and achievement level student-centered curricula for a particular content area within the format and time parameters of a specific course, and whose teaching philosophy is aligned with ATDP's mission and Learner Outcomes.
ATDP unites teachers who love to teach with students who want to learn. We are in constant search of qualified, temporary, part-time, high-energy, passionate, and creative instructors, co-instructors, and instructional associates (IAs) for our summer courses. We are seeking a Treatment Family Care Development Specialist to join our team. Your role will be a blended position responsible for recruitment, licensing, and training of Treatment Family Care (TFC) Homes as well as support of TFC clients. The Specialist will conduct recruitment activities in the community, complete timely and accurate licensure assessments and renewals, along with providing training for TFC Homes. All responsibilities will be conducted in accordance with contract/licensing/funding body/accreditation requirements. Specialists have flexibility and autonomy with their schedule to meet the needs of their assigned clients and families. Office space is available; however, Specialists typically work out of their own homes when not conducting visits with their families. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Recruitment, Training, Support Groups, and Licensing Compliance: Lead Treatment Family Care (TFC) home recruitment in collaboration with the Resource Development team through community outreach, recruitment events, information meetings, and screening of prospective relative/kinship and nonrelated families. Conduct and track preservice, inservice, and specialized TFC trainings, facilitate and lead caregiver support groups, and ensure ongoing compliance with licensing policies and regulations through regular communication, documentation, and home visits.

A reasonable estimate for Lecturer positions is $75,301-$199,722.
Percent time:
Positions may range from 9% to 33% time for one to two courses per year; 6 courses per year equals 100% time.
Positions range from 11% for summer sessions
Anticipated start:

Position description
The College of Environmental Design (CED) at UC Berkeley invites applications for a pool of qualified lecturers or lecturers in lieu of GSIs to teach studio and non-studio courses for the Master of Real Estate Development + Design program (MRED+D) in the following areas: real estate finance, development, law, and professional practice, architcture, construction, economics + market analysis, and equitable + sustainable development should an opening arise.
Screening of applicants is ongoing and will continue as needed. The number of positions varies from semester to semester (fall, spring and summer), depending upon the needs of MRED+D program.
Lecturer General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities, Lecturer general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and using Cal's electronic resources for course management.
