Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Sales and Merchandising

  • Maintain Client objectives by ensuring secondary placements of product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics
  • Shelf Standards and Conditions: authorization of items to meet Client shelf schematic standards
  • Meet Client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs.
  • Take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf
  • Prepare for and respond to audits
  • Manage time and prioritize for store call coverage

Responsibilities:

  • Directs, plans and coordinates the daily operation of the assigned practices
  • Practices are of moderate to high complexity and / or generally of moderate size
  • Manages, supervises and coordinates all functions and activities related to the operations of physician practices, complex management responsibility (i.E.. billing and collecting), and/or special projects, (i.E.. practice start up), as directed by Administration
  • Establishes/implements goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems for the assigned administrative areas and or practices
  • Assists with developing and implementing annual operational plan and budget
  • Selects, trains, orients and supervises clinic personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Responsible for work assignments and daily operations
  • Manages personnel for multiple practices, including training relief employees
  • Evaluates performances and recommends merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions in a timely manner
  • Interviews and recommends hiring and termination of staff in accordance with approved policies
  • Resolves problems in administrative areas and ensures compliance with regulations and standards

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Licensure: Current state license. Valid drivers license.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in acute, rehab, outpatient, home health or long term care setting required.

Preferred Experience: Two years experience in acute care or home care preferred.
Certifications: CPR certification.
Other: Employee possesses good assessment and treatment planning skills. Employee is energetic, gets along well with others, has good time management and problem solving skills. Employee possesses good communication and documentation skills. Employee is in good physical health and able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently with occasional lifting of over 50 pounds. Employee frequently will work independently and must be able to handle emergencies without assistance. Employee adap[ts to and works effectively with change, takes initiative, sets challenging objectives and values and seeks opportunity to learn. Employee may be required to drive in hazardous conditions; must be able to follow written or verbal instructions and read a map. Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager or designee, will dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use.   • Participates in narcotic and controlled drug distribution programs as required
  • Audits medication records and makes necessary corrections 
  • Explains proper use of all prescriptions for outpatients.
  • Accountable for investigational drug study integrity
  • Ensures that non-sterile, sterile, and hazardous medications are prepared in accordance with USP 795, 797, and 800 regulation
  • Supplies drug information to physicians, nurses and other members of the health care team
  • Participates in the department's in-service education program.
  • Performs monthly nursing unit inspections as assigned  
  • Perform other duties as required.
