What You’ll Be Doing

• Enter purchase requestions for team.

• Manage changes orders Purchase Requisition (PR) changes for all DS requests

• Manage invoicing mismatch process and advise leaders on needed approvals, changes, and invoicing issues.

• Processes, modify, and update Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA) / non-disclosure agreement (NDA) requests

• Enter all Scope of Work (SOWs) for project requests into e-Marketplace or e-MC. These requests will be used to generate a contract / Purchase Order (PO) or a PO only, depending on project cost and risk assessment

• Determine all category designations for project requests. This is the most difficult component of the e- Marketplace process and often requires procurement interface

• Serve as the ‘project monitor’ for the project requestor

• Track requests on a regular basis and report on status to requestors

• Manage a ‘project tracker’ spreadsheet for each request and document activities (or lack thereof)

• Follow-up and serve as project expediter when a request gets stalled in R2P, Sourcing, Supplier contracting, or legal internally, or with the supplier externally

New Supplier Add Process

• Most supplier add requests are submitted through eMP. In certain circumstances, utilize ARAVO to create and update vendor information.

• Work with the requestor to complete the supplier add form for the preliminary required information to start the supplier add process.

• Enter the request to add a new supplier into the ARAVO database by adding the preliminary supplier information and instructions to the supplier contact to assist them with completing their required tasks.

• Follow the process through the ARAVO database to ensure that the supplier addition goes through smoothly and in a timely manner. This will then allow PRs to be created for the new supplier.

Customer Service and Training

• Proactively communicate with and provide customer service to company's requesters that KOCG is supporting.

• Ensure training and proficiency on all applicable company's Systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of diverse drafting tasks.
  • Prepare precise plans, layouts, as-builts, and detailed technical drawings.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of building codes, develop intricate details, and organize comprehensive construction documents.
  • Revise existing drawings and accurately correct "as-built" documentation.
  • Conceptualize, design, and effectively communicate technical concepts using CAD software, adhering to current industry standards.
  • Maintain meticulous design and drawing archives, including revision history.
  • Scale drawings precisely for shop production.
  • Organize project folders to ensure easy and fast access.
  • Apply technical design knowledge and best practices to accomplish drafting assignments.
  • Create new drawings and expertly edit existing ones.


What You'll Bring:

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in a CAD Designer role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (specific software skills will be assessed via a CAD test).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of building codes.
  • Experience with 2D drafting.
  • Familiarity with scaling and basic CAD commands (hot keys).
  • Ability to establish data link connections between Excel and AutoCAD.
  • Strong organizational skills, including managing project folders and drawing archives.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Ability to read and interpret floor plans.

Job Description


One of Insight Global's clients is looking for a temporary Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Rockville, MD. The candidates should be proficient in excel and SolidWorks, be able to design new parts, models and make drawings, create assembly steps and procedures, and test and validate that the design delivers on its requirements.


Day-to-Day:

  • Draft preliminary designs
  • Mark and change any updates to drawings
  • Detail final elements and deliver final drawing packages
  • Update bill of materials
  • Assembly documentation
  • Support production team and help assemble prototypes for testing


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience using a CAD software
  • Strong MS Office experience
  • Experience with BOM systems
  • Strong Mechanical engineering aptitude
  • Able to work hand in hand with the design team as well as the production team


Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience using Solidworks
