Under minimal supervision, the TRA, Interventional Radiology Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.
This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications.
Perform radiographic exams on all patients as necessary.
The employee is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma; assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.

Job Summary and QualificationsWe are seeking a Special Procedures Tech on a full-time basis. As our Special Procedures Technologist, you will operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC), as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology Lab (scrubbing, circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status). - You will prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner in accordance with established operating procedures.

- You will assist in administration of contrast media in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
- You will obtain high quality radiographic images; reviews quality of radiographs to insure quality standards have been met.
- You will obtain and document all pertinent patient information prior to exam, i.e., patient history, pregnancy, allergies and obtains informed consent in accordance with departmental policy and procedure.
- You will maintain effective communication with patient; provides explanation of procedures within scope of practice.

Qualifications:
- Associates Degree from a 2-year accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Current ARRT credential; RCIS credential also considered in conjunction with minimum Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one (1) year of IR experience
- Angio, Peripheral and Neuro experience a plus. BLS required upon hire and ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Job Summary and QualificationsPerform Radiological diagnostic procedures as outlined by the Radiologist. Operates diagnostic radiography equipment, and prepares room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Ability to operate and troubleshoot the Medtronic O-arm and Stealth Navigation system. Other duties include, but ar not limited to clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by management.
What qualifications you will need:- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (ARRT-R) Radiography
- (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
- High School Graduate / GED

The Neurodiagnostic Tech performs neurodiagnostic procedures which may include EEG, LTM, EMU, EMG, NCV, EP utilizing standard protocols supported by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists. They may assist with long term monitoring under guidance and/or supervision of Long Term Monitoring Tech and/or Lead Monitoring tech. Responsible for patient preparation, equipment transportation, entering patient charges, and maintaining supply inventory.

Required Education/Certification/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- AA through Neurodiagnostic program or proof of CEUs
- 6 months of experience (can be internship)
- BLS through the American Heart Association
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Registration via ABRET for EEG
- 2 years of experience
