The Opportunity
The University of Central Florida College of Medicine (UCF-COM) Department of Medicine is seeking full-time medical Dermatology physicians and a full-time procedural Mohs dermatology physician to join our outpatient UCF Health academic practice. These are non-tenure track clinical positions at the assistant, associate or professor of medicine level.
Medical Dermatologists:
We are seeking medical dermatologists with strong skills in general and procedural dermatology (non-Mohs) to complement the expertise of our current dermatology faculty. The selected candidates will participate in or help to develop cross-specialty clinics (e.g., for dermato-rheumatology, dermato-oncology or occupational dermatology). Applicants need to have demonstrated outstanding clinical practice delivering high quality, value-based, team-based care. Collaboration with other care providers is an essential component of this position. Examples include working with rheumatology faculty, fellows and internal medicine residents. On occasion there will be medical students, residents and fellows from our Internal Medicine residency and fellowship programs rotating through our clinics. There will also be a small component of undergraduate and graduate medical education instruction.
Mohs Dermatologist:
This position is for a procedural Mohs dermatologist to complement the expertise of our current dermatology faculty and practice in a state-of-the-art Mohs surgery facility. Applicants need to have demonstrated outstanding clinical practice delivering high quality, value-based, team-based care. On occasion medical students, residents and fellows from our Internal Medicine residency and fellowship programs will be rotating through our clinics. There will also be a small component of undergraduate and graduate medical education instruction.
The success of the university faculty practice, UCF Health, has led to continuing growth and expansion that includes modern state-of-the-art dermatology clinic facilities, and expansion of multiple specialties across our academic departments and participating hospitals. Candidates interested in developing and growing dermatology services at UCF are desired.
These are UCF Health clinical positions with opportunities to: collaborate with other dermatologists at nearby partner institutions (e.g., at the VA Medical Center, the Nemours Children's Hospital and the UCF Lake Nona Medical Center); pursue interprofessional education with other members of our multi-disciplinary Academic Health Sciences Center; conduct clinical or translational research with the support of our extensive human research team; pursue educational scholarship in collaboration with other COM faculty members; and serve as a formal medical student advisor or mentor. The chosen applicants will also be expected to provide service to the educational programs and other missions of the college and university.

The College of Medicine is located in a well-equipped medical education building with modern Anatomy, Histology and simulation laboratories, as well as a state-of-the-art library. In addition to the medical school, the Lake Nona campus includes our recently opened university teaching hospital (UCF Lake Nona Hospital), a state-of-the-art research center at the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences, multi-college graduate education programs, UCF outpatient clinics, the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center, the Nemours Children's Hospital, the new UCF Lake Nona Cancer Center, and the Guidewell Innovation research incubator. The nearby Osceola Regional Medical Center is another primary site of UME and GME instruction.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution and be board certified or eligible in dermatology. Candidates for the Mohs position must have completed a micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology fellowship.
The candidate's scholarly background and experience must be commensurate with the faculty rank for which the application is submitted.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who have at least three years of post-training clinical experience. There is a preference for candidates having previous publications in dermatology literature.

Position Summary:
Evaluates patients with known or suspected health conditions and performs therapeutic treatment procedures as indicated with a primarily pelvic health patient population. Makes patient referrals to other health care agencies/disciplines as indicated. Instructs patients and family members in individualized activity programs designed to maximize functional abilities. Completes timely documentation. Coordinates care with other members of the health care team across the continuum of care. The Clinical Coordinator is a staff member of the PA Program at Creighton University in Phoenix. The Clinical Coordinator works collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Education to manage and coordinate the logistics of student clinical rotations and other curricular delivery during the clinical phase of the program. Additional duties include working with the Program Analyst to manage data collection and analysis to support the ongoing program self-assessment and student assessment processes. ***This position is in person***.
Essential Functions
Serve as the primary point of contact for preceptors and clerkship/rotation coordinators during the clinical phase
Development and maintenance of student schedules for students in the clinical phase
Participate in site visits to clinical rotation sites and meetings with preceptors
Data entry and management of student and preceptor information system (EduSched and Eclas) for the clinical phase of the program
Manage the clinical onboarding and compliance for students in the clinical phase of the program
Work with clinical sites to establish and maintain affiliation agreements

Qualifications
Who May Apply: US Citizens
Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing psychological evaluations, developing behavioral health treatment plans, and providing psychological counseling services. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
License: The Clinical Psychologist position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
CLINIC OPERATIONS:
- Manages the operations of the clinic, including costs, processes, staffing, and quality standards.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and development plans for all direct reports.

- Accountable for timely completion of patient care assessments and care plans.
- Manages timely patient schedules to ensure facility efficiency and develops action plans for missed treatments.

STAFF:

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Salary range:
The compensation model varies depending upon the course delivery format. For a synchronous Live Online course, a reasonable estimate for this position is $1,500 - $4,500 total per course. For an asynchronous Fixed Date Online course, this position is paid $200 - $350 per enrolled student and a reasonable estimate ranges from $1,600 -$5,250 total per course. Instructor compensation is determined by course length, number of units, enrollment, budgetary considerations, and other factors.
Percent time:
Part-time by agreement on a course-by-course basis.
Anticipated start:
Some appointments may begin as early as the spring semester.

General Duties
The department seeks candidates who can support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy. Specific duties and expectations will vary depending on the method of instruction including: Synchronous Live Online (Zoom) or Asynchronous Online (Fixed Date).
- For synchronous instruction (live online courses), duties include but are not limited to: syllabus development; assignment development; lesson planning for class meetings; preparing and submitting required texts and course materials; reviewing and updating Canvas course site; and delivering lectures, presentations, and learning activities for all required hours of instruction.
- For asynchronous instruction (fixed date online courses), duties include but are not limited to: reviewing the syllabus and pre-populated online course content; learning and utilizing Canvas classroom management tools; and requesting any training needs from the Program Director or Department Director.

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Community Nursing Department invites applications for full-time Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor faculty, non-tenure track. The Community Department includes the specialty areas of maternity and women's health; pediatric and family health; community and population health; and mental health nursing. Wellstar Advanced Heart Failure & Palliative Care is a hospital outpatient department of Kennestone Hospital. Our goals are to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life for patients with heart failure while improving patient understanding and self-management of their disease process. Our care is based upon current evidence and best practice, and teamwork and collaboration are at the core of our care model. Our clinic operates Monday-Friday and is closed on weekends and major holidays. The clinical nurse position provides direct patient care for heart failure/LVAD/palliative patients, including rooming, vital signs, physical assessment, phlebotomy, medication administration, EKG, 6-minute-walk tests, and patient education. The position also involves telephone/EPIC inbasket triage, working with social workers and nurse navigators to facilitate patient care coordination, and delegating/supervising care provided by non-licensed staff.
Job Summary:
The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care.
