Job Purpose:

The Lead Electrical Commissioning Supervisor (“LECS”) is generally responsible for planning, coordinating and ensuring safe and orderly progress of the work of Electrical Commissioning Specialists assigned to pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing and initial operations of systems and equipment as are placed under his/her care by the Commissioning Manager (“CM”). LECS will additionally be responsible for performing electrical startup work as necessary to maintain scheduled progress as determined by the CM.


Main Job Function:

  • Submit such periodic progress and planning reports as may be required by the CM, ensuring that all documentation, tools, equipment, craft support and other resources necessary to the proper and timely performance of his/her assigned tasks are identified with sufficient advance notice to CM to support the startup schedule.
  • Verify that the turnover packages relating to systems under his/her care contain sufficient information enabling the safe and orderly performance of mechanical commissioning work.
  • Prepare and submit for the approval of CM detailed commissioning procedures referencing and interpreting the requirements of equipment suppliers, design documents, and governing codes and standards for each system and piece of equipment placed under his/her care.
  • Responsible for implementing and enforcing the Lockout-Tag Out (“LOTO”) safety procedures at all times and for each element of systems assigned to his/her care and responsibility.
  • Responsible to coordinate and participate in the inspection of construction works as may be assigned by CM.
  • Responsible for any other duties assigned to him/her.


Working Conditions:

This position entails the fabrication and assembly of complex Space flight cable and harnesses assemblies from drawings, schematics, wire lists, or engineering sketches in conformance with government specifications and workmanship standards. What You'll Bring

  • 8+ years of progressive safety leadership experience within construction or electrical contracting
  • Demonstrated success building, scaling, or significantly enhancing safety programs
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations with the ability to translate requirements into practical, field-ready solutions
  • Proven leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to operate as a pragmatic partner to operations, balancing safety standards with project realities while maintaining credibility and productive relationships
  • Well-developed administrative and program development capabilities, including policy creation, communications, and documentation; proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • High level of organization with disciplined data and records management practices

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance & repairs on all plant equipment.

The Technician will work an 8.5-hour shift schedule, Monday - Friday and will participate in a rotating weekly “on call” duties with the maintenance staff.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the use & tracking of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment utilized in repairs and maintenance.

Responsible for housekeeping in areas assigned plus areas needed.

Responsible for interfacing with CMMS computerized maintenance management systems for PMs, Work Orders, Inventory, Purchasing.

Have a good working knowledge of pumps, valves, centrifuges, conveyors, rolling stock, plant air & hydraulics, and grain handling equipment.

Responsible for adhering to Plant Safety Programs including Safe Work Permits, LOTO, Confined Space Entry, Hot Works and Line Break permits.

Responsible for following company Personal Protection Equipment requirements including Head, eye, ear, hand and Fall protection.

Complete all safety training requirements as scheduled.

Key participant and contributor to our schedule plant maintenance outages.

Rolling Stock equipment: Pay Loader, Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Forklifts.


Qualifications:

Minimum of a two-year degree from a technical/vocational school or equivalent training or 3 years work experience in a technical or related maintenance field.

Must have the ability to work effectively with CMMS programs.

Maintenance background includes welding, electrical and mechanical repairs.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficiency with basic office software.


Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to working near moving mechanical parts.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions; must be able to climb ladders and work in high, precarious places; and in all outdoor weather conditions.

Excellent communication and time management skills.
