Minimum Requirements

1 year or more of commercial construction estimating experience

Knowledgeable in some of the following: civil/site construction, foundation and structural systems, miscellaneous metals, casework, doors, specialties, interior finishes, exterior building wall systems, mechanical and electrical systems and the costs of these systems.

Strong computer skills including the ability to use estimating software, word process, spread sheets, and company communication tools, such as email, internet and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).

Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management or related Engineering field.

Possess good organizational skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Location: Gonda 14, Orthopedics

The procedural support assistant is an integral member of the procedural team in providing patient support and information prior to the procedure, instruction to the patient and assistance to the proceduralist during the procedure, and is involved in the postoperative support and information reporting, specimen and biopsy orders and management, obtaining vital signs, room turnaround and cleaning, as well as supply management delegated by appropriate procedural team members. The procedural support assistant assists with other aspects of patient care including patient visits and supports the health care provider by anticipating and responding to patient needs and requests of the health care team. They will also transport patients to and from the department.



Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. One year of patient care experience required. Possible experience may include duties as a desk operations specialist, nursing assistant, patient care assistant, or licensed practical nurse. High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience required, such as administrative, physician's office, and appointment scheduler. 

Additional Qualifications:

Requires computer skills including Windows- based applications and intranet/internet use with the ability to keyboard and navigate through multiple applications. Exposure to electronic health record preferred. Ability to work independently, be goal-directed and have strong organizational skills. Effectively multitask without compromising quality. Responsibilities

Facilitates patient visits and supports the health care provider by anticipating and responding to patient needs and requests of the health care team. Allows care providers to focus on patient care by coordinating details of patient visits which include: daily activities of the care providers in a multispecialty medical practice, preparing patients, completing pre-examination record information, managing the flow of patient materials. Obtain or verify patient demographics and properly advise patients of scheduling delays or changes to the appropriate individuals, and serving as a direct contact and resource to the patient. Qualifications

Individuals without relevant medical education or medical experience will be required to successfully complete a Medical Terminology course within six months of employment.

Associate's Degree and coursework in a healthcare related field is preferred (e.g., Administrative Clinic Assistant, Medical Office, Medical Assistant, Health Care/Medical Receptionist or comparable); Requires computer skills (i.e., Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use) with the ability to key board.
