We are seeking a Production Team Lead that will focus on completing daily objectives. They will be the shop floor leaders of a production area, responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of teams of associates. They lead by example and are expected to perform every function of their department. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met
  • Oversee production schedules and adjust workflow as needed to maintain efficiency
  • Support and direct changeovers to minimize downtime
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Communicate equipment issues or process irregularities to maintenance and management
  • Participate actively during breakdowns, bottlenecks, and scheduled downtime
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Manage employee time records, training documentation, and performance matters in coordination with HR
  • Assist with staffing coverage, interviews, and workforce planning
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and team development


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in metals oriented manufacturing or processing environment. a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Tube mill experience is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced production setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable working overtime as production demands require
  • Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation
  • Exposure to quality systems or audits is beneficial
