The Opportunity

RN Administrator for Admissions, Intake & Outreach is responsible for overseeing the functions and activities associated with Community Outreach Services, Admitting, and Intake. Reports directly to the Vice President for Admitting, Intake and Outreach Services and maintains an open dialogue with the senior leadership of the hospital and referring partners.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitors and assesses the delivery of services provided by the Community Outreach, Admitting and Intake implementing changes when appropriate.

- Conducts interdepartmental meetings related to the quality and utilization of clinical services.

- Works within legal, ethical practice standards to his/her position as well as the Hospital's Code of Conduct. Complies with appropriate policies and procedures and brings potential compliance matters to the supervisor or compliance officer.
- Oversees and participates in the budget process for his/her assigned departments.
- Completes Introductory and Annual Performance Appraisals for all direct reports. Reviews Introductory and Annual Performance Appraisals for other assigned staff.
- Oversees the interface with the Finance Office regarding pertinent insurance information, e.g. Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance.
- Elicits recommendations regarding continuous improvement of patient safety from staff.
- Encourages reporting of occurrences without fear of reprisal.
- Participates in the development of recommendations for improvement in patient safety based on staff recommendations.
- Participates in the implementation and monitoring of patient safety programs.
- Maintains current knowledge of regulatory requirements which may impact on the delivery of patient services.
- Integrates the services of the departments supervised into the day-to-day activities of the Hospital in support of its philosophy and mission.
- Develops appropriate goals and objectives for departments supervised.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Opportunity
- Act as the operational administrator for the site Vituity leadership and as the interface for the practice to the hospital and community.
- Act as the front-line liaison for the provider team with hospital C-Suite, nursing leadership, nursing staff, and Vituity support team.

- As applicable to the site practice, responsible for all aspects of the site clinical schedules to ensure adequate coverage with no disruption to patient care.
- Collect, track, and analyze all site financial and operational data.
- Project management as needed of the site operational programs to include, but not limited to, Operations Meetings, Patient Experience Program, Quality/Performance Improvement Program, Advanced Provider and/or Scribe Programs, and Student or Resident rotations.
- Ensure all aspects of recruiting and on-boarding are completed for new providers and employees as well as locums and reservists and/or residents and students.
- Ensure all licensed providers complete their recredentialing timely and appropriately for their licensing, certificates, and credentials required by Vituity and hospital Medical Staff Office.
- Ensure all site partners and employees remain in compliance with Vituity and hospital programs and other mandated training or requests.
- Act as the point person for all Vituity People Operations (Human Resources) relations to include, but not limited to, ensuring accurate site roster and compliance with employment law and Vituity policies.
- Develop and maintain site orientation checklists and manuals.
- Collaborate with Medical Director and Site Management Team in developing and maintaining site practice policies and procedures.
- As applicable to practice line, responsible for all medical records and data submission to Revenue Cycle Management in a timely manner and responsible for appropriate charge capture in designated system, sending notices and follow up as appropriate.
- Ensure billing and documentation compliance through completion of site WIP/TAD lists, answering provider routine questions, and schedule/hosting/participating in the monthly meeting with Revenue Cycle Management billing team.
- Ensure completion of mandated forms and requests as appropriate to include, but not limited to, death certificates, physician office requests, State specific Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Department reporting compliance, and pharmacy requests.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County is seeking to expand current services with the addition of a full-time Director of Midwifery. Kings County Hospital operates a state-of-the-art Labor and Delivery room and a newly renovated Women's Health Center, which serves residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
Kings County is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.

The Director of Midwifery is responsible for the overall planning, development and management of the administrative, clinical, educational, research and evaluative functions required for a midwifery practice embedded within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Womenβs Health. Staff midwives provide primary healthcare in inpatient and outpatient settings within a collaborative model of care to clients across the health spectrum.
Opportunity Details:
- Evaluates, responds to, reports and assesses the quality of midwifery care
- Responsible for hiring, evaluating and terminating midwifery staff, including implementing performance-improvement measures as appropriate
- Provides and coordinates staff development for midwives and the interdisciplinary team, as applicable
- Participates in lectures and clinical supervision of learners
- Participates in planning and supervision of childbirth and health education programs
- Collaborates with other services and programs, including new program development and maintenance
- Provides clinical midwifery care
- Represents the Midwifery Practice with the Department of OB/GYN and Womenβs Health, including involvement in program development and maintenance and new initiatives
- Participates in the New York City Health + Hospitals Midwifery Council and Womenβs Health Council
- Is available 24/7 for consultation regarding midwifery care and or sick call service coverage

Qualifications:
- Current NYS license to practice as Midwife
- Board Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB)
- Minimum 5 years experience in Clinical and Administrative Midwifery Leadership

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and overall operational management of physician services and medical staff administration for the campus. The CMO works with the market CEO to develop strategic plans and policies and address operational issues to build effective relationships between the hospital and its medical staff. The CMO also drives excellence in clinical outcomes. Working with the campus Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and campus Safety and High Reliability Leader, the CMO creates multidisciplinary approaches to clinical outcome management and environments of quality and safety. The CMO partners with AdventHealth medical staff and system leadership on system-wide standardizations. Works to educate, consult and advise members of the medical staff on regulatory updates and changes related to CDI, HIM, utilization management and care management.Serves as a community resource and provides counsel to market CEO on medical and administrative matters related to medical practice and current clinical issues / affairs. The CMO oversees physician alignment and physician supply and demand for the campus. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The CMO leads the Care Transformation Program to improve quality, increase patient safety, and decrease cost of care.
- Collaborates with the campus section chairpersons, campus Medical Chief of Staff, and contracted physicians to ensure that appropriate structure, policies and procedures are operational for accreditation and performance excellence
- Provides executive oversight for Associate CMO, medical director and medical staff services
- Develops, monitors, and evaluates performance/process improvement, disease management, utilization review activities, and standards to improve quality outcomes both clinically and administratively ensuring the highest standards in treatment and care of patients. Advocates the use of evidence-based medicine
- Establishes and implements standards and policies to ensure quality medical care while driving clinical outcomes for the campus. Works collaboratively with senior management, patient care leaders, and managers as well as staff to accomplish goals
- Serves as a member of the campus senior management team and assists in strategic development of initiatives and programs
- Consults and advises members of the medical staff on professionalism, quality and safety issues, and excessive or inappropriate utilization of resources
- Consults and advises as needed on risk management reviews, and/or patientβs grievances when working in collaboration with the campus Risk Management team
- Collaborates with medical staff leaders including department medical directors and elected medical staff leaders on hospital and patient safety issues. Assists in the moderation of major physician-to-physician, physician-to-staff, and physician-to-patient interactions in partnership with the campus Medical Chief of Staff and other medical staff leaders
- Ensures medical staff development plans and programs are implemented and aligned with those of the hospital. Promotes shared goals and teamwork in interactions with medical staff, clinical staff, and administration. Supports the clinical team and promotes individual growth among medical staff and clinical leaders.
- Participates in the annual operating and capital budget process by providing input
- Responsible for physician engagement strategies including supporting community physicians in physician recruitment and promoting programs which enhance physician satisfaction. Actively engaged in efforts to recruit medical staff members who will support the mission, vision, values, and purpose of AdventHealth.
- Provides support to and champions the organizationβs infection prevention program. Acts as intermediary between the campus infection prevention coordinator and individual physicians and/or physician groups to resolve problems related to infection control practice issues
- Supports quality and safety initiatives of AdventHealth through education, standardization and implementation of system strategies
- Facilitates data driven activities that lower the cost of care including evaluation of use of supplies, devices, medications, and other physician preference items
- Serve as the medical liaison between the campus and the organizationβs population health department with emphasis on operationalizing strategies that improve patient care across the continuum and outside the acute care setting
- Provide medical support and content expertise to partnerships with external stakeholders (private companies, local government) that are designed with the intent of improving the health of the community
- Provide support to internal and external communications teams and participate as needed on engagements with the media with the goal of educating the community on medical and public health topics that improve the health of the community
- Provides oversight for the medical service lines including strategic planning, accurate documentation, and multidisciplinary needs
- Regularly attends all relevant campus medical staff meetings, administrative team meetings, and other meetings where appropriate
- From a physicianβs perspective, affirmatively provides counsel to senior management team discussions and action plans related to service changes, improvements, new service/program offerings inclusive of all operational and strategy decisions
- Takes a lead role on campus sentinel event teams. During an emergency, disaster, or catastrophic event, CMO may be assigned to any disaster service activity that promotes the protection of public health and safety
- Maintains current knowledge of accreditation bodies, State of Florida, AdventHealth, and any other relevant, regulatory, or reporting organizations standards on quality indicators and certification processes. Ensures compliance with all relevant licensing and accrediting bodies. Provides leadership and vision in the development of clinical guidelines and care pathways.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $73,000 per year. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer.Β This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities- Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
- Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications- Bachelor's or master?s degree in nutrition or a related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or RD Eligible
- At least one year of clinical experience preferred
- Licensed Dietitian status in Massachuttes or able to obtain within 6 monts of hire.Β
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.

Clinical care includes hospital acute care consultations, management of inpatient rehabilitation program patients, ambulatory pediatric PM&R clinic, and other multidisciplinary ambulatory clinics.
The Division is aligned with the hospital mission and vision with emphasis on expanding the breadth, scope, and access to high quality care in the neurosciences.
The ideal candidates will have a strong interest in injection therapy and multidisciplinary surgical interventions for spasticity and dystonia (SDR/ITB).
There are opportunities for clinical services in EMG/NCV, intraoperative SDR monitoring, pain management, cancer and cardiopulmonary rehab, and other special interests that candidates may have.
The Division has goals to support the local medical students, local PM&R residency program, and the Christus Children's /Baylor pediatric residency educational needs through clinical rotations and academic presentations.

CHRISTUS Children's offers the only acute pediatric inpatient rehabilitation program in southwest Texas, featuring an 8-bed unit with private rooms, a therapy gym, and private treatment spaces equipped with modern rehabilitation technology, pet, and music therapy.
Outpatient services are available on the main campus and at satellite locations, supporting ambulatory clinics.
Job Duties Responsibilities, assigned by the Division Chief, may change based on division needs.
Candidates will have both clinical and non-clinical duties, reviewed and adjusted as needed.
Clinical expectations include shared coverage of inpatient consultation services, the acute rehabilitation program, PM&R ambulatory clinics, and other multidisciplinary clinics.
The position is Monday-Friday with home call shared among faculty.
Minimum Qualifications Must possess an MD, MD/PhD or DO from an accredited medical school and have (or be eligible to obtain) an unrestricted Texas Medical License.
Must also be Board eligible/certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
