Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

- Reviews and interprets customer specifications and may act as primary customer contact.
- Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions. Develop and lead deployment strategies and plans.
- Lead and manage schematic design, Bills of material, power tree, drawings, board layout, and cross-functional design reviews
- Lead power bring-up, debugging, and support for manufacturing assembly, and deployment
- Takes responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project (people, financials etc.)
- Lead relationships with key vendors and partners.
- Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations, and share within team

This role supports production by developing and maintaining testing methods, evaluating product performance, and assisting with troubleshooting efforts when issues arise during manufacturing. The position works closely with engineering, operations, and quality teams to help maintain product reliability and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and maintain testing approaches used to verify the functionality and performance of electronic circuit boards and related assemblies. This may include the development or support of functional testing, board-level verification, and system-level validation activities.

The RF Microelectronics/Module Design & Foundry Services Department at Raytheon in Andover, MA, is currently seeking a Principal Electro-Mechanical Engineer to develop leading-edge miniaturized 3DHI sensors and systems to enable future generation technologies across Raytheon.
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated “self-starter” who will apply strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills to implement innovative solutions to challenging design criteria. Qualifications You Must Have:

- Experience performing circuit layout design using 2D CAD tools

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Experience in RF circuit design, including 3D EM simulation in HFSS or similar tools

- Experience qualifying and implementing cutting edge materials, fabrication techniques, and understanding of relevant materials used in semiconductor manufacturing and packaging
