As a Sr. Production and Engineering Technician at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Production organization. This is a small but growing team of highly motivated people passionate about delivering quality products and services on time, with unquestionable value. You'll play a critical role in the build, operation, integration, test, diagnostics, inspection, and maintenance of highly reliable systems, including electro-mechanical assemblies, wiring harnesses, components, and subassemblies. Responsibilities

• Build, operate, integrate, test, diagnose, inspect, and maintain highly reliable systems, including avionics and electromechanical assemblies, wire harnesses, and circuit card assemblies

• Read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as drawings, layouts, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and master parts lists

• Develop and improve manufacturing and installation instructions

• Assure product and process quality by testing finished-product and process capabilities

• Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions

Basic Success Criteria

• 7+ years of professional experience building and testing electromechanical assemblies, fabrication, integration, or mechanical assembly experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience reviewing technical designs and working from drawings, schematics, layouts, assembly/procedures, master parts lists, and other controlled documentation

• Ability to proficiently use a PC/Mac, Google Suite, manufacturing execution systems, JIRA, or equivalent tools

• Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Criteria

• IPC and/or J-STD certification

• Experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or a high-volume manufacturing company

• Electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development experience

The Manufacturing Methods Engineer will determine the most efficient and economical method of performing production build and assembly. Review assembly drawings for manufacturability, plan and develop production workflows/ detailed assembly build documentation and adapt or modify existing manufacturing build/assembly documentation to increase efficiency. Provide floor support and on-the-job training to manufacturing assembly operators. Transition new product designs into production.
