Role Overview: The Quality Manager serves as the company’s authority for quality and regulatory compliance, operating in close partnership with Engineering and executive leadership. The role holds final quality decision authority for product release, supplier qualification, and process changes. This is a primarily on-site, hands-on leadership role with limited flexibility based on business needs responsible for ensuring effective execution of QMS processes and data-driven quality decisions. This position reports to the head of Engineering, with direct and regular engagement with the CEO/President to ensure alignment on quality and regulatory priorities. The role currently has no direct reports and leverages internal and external support resources to support QMS activities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as FDA Management Representative with final quality decision authority and responsibility for regulatory compliance and QMS effectiveness
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve the ISO 13485 and ISO 9001-certified QMS, including leading audits, CAPAs, and management reviews
  • Establish and oversee part and product inspections and release activities, including direct execution as needed and final review/approval of delegated acceptance decisions
  • Oversee supplier qualification, monitoring, and compliance with regulatory and quality requirements, and serve as the U.S. Agent for designated foreign suppliers
  • Direct and coordinate internal resources, in collaboration with functional leaders, to meet quality and regulatory objectives
  • Analyze quality data, trends, and risk using appropriate statistical methods
  • Drive quality culture and cross-functional engagement by promoting a customer- and patient-oriented culture (weighEasier®) and communicating quality objectives and risks across the organization
  • Travel up to 5%


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering, Science, or a related technical field preferred. Additional relevant education is a plus.
  • 6+ years of quality/regulatory experience in a regulated environment, including 4+ years in medical devices within a certified quality system (e.g., ISO 13485)
  • Demonstrated experience owning quality and/or regulatory processes and final decisions


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technical, quality, or regulatory experience in medical devices
  • Prior experience serving as FDA Management Representative
  • Experience managing team or external vendors with demonstrated independent decision authority
  • Strong statistical analysis background – ASQ, RAPS, Lean, or similar certifications preferred

Responsibilities

Obtain all the necessary materials for the job, and ensure all permits and licenses are in place. Oversee work related to each project and assume full responsibility for its quality and timeliness. Compliance with proper safety standards, procedures, and work practices according to MasTec or the customer, whichever standard is higher. Facilitate daily toolbox talks and weekly safety inspections. Disseminates information and ensures understanding of safety briefings. Coordinate and supervise daily tasks for crew members related to digging and placing product. Perform switching procedures to isolate and insulate, splice, and terminate underground power lines following proper safety procedures. Position Summary:

A coworker who has the qualifications of a Cable Splicer, is familiar with the underground system and has the experience and ability to analyze cable and equipment troubles quickly and to restore services promptly by replacing fuses, switching, disconnecting defective cables or apparatus, making repairs, etcetera. May be required to perform other underground work such us preparing cable racks, pulling in and racking cables, maintaining equipment in the underground system, etc. Shall install and maintain services, meters, and equipment including conduit and wiring up to the meter on customers' premises and shall handle trouble in such installations. Drives a truck and operates the associated equipment as assigned. Background of apprenticeship and experience must be such as to qualify an employee to perform these duties with skill and efficiency. This position may be subject to Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC) review and approval. Provisional hires will be required to participate in targeted training to achieve journey-level knowledge of electrical technician roles and responsibilities.
 
PG&E is providing the hourly rate that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This position is subject to collectively bargained hourly wage rates and increases. The starting wage rate for this position is $67.58 per hour. The wage rate is based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity.
 
Perform all necessary duties with skill and efficiency by performing maintenance on underground transmission and distribution lines.
Perform work in connection with the construction and maintenance of underground manholes, vaults, splice boxes, duct lines and similar structures.
Installs and maintains services, meters, and equipment including conduit and wiring up to the meter on customers' premises
Maintains equipment in the underground system
Prepares cable racks
Pulls and racks underground cables and wires into and out of pipes, conduits and duct lines.
Splices cables of any kind or voltage for the connection of cable, transformers, junction boxes, and other equipment in the underground or overhead systems or stations.
Ensure effective customer and internal communication.
Analyze cable and equipment trouble quickly and restore services promptly by replacing fuses, switching, disconnecting defective cable on apparatus efficiently.
Identify the location of and extent to which underground structures such as man holes and vaults have been damaged and perform minor repairs safely on underground enclosures.
Isolate Network grid secondary’s and Network Protectors (NP’s).

Officers are weighed at the time of the test (in PT gear) and the appropriate percentage of the officer’s weight is used to determine the percentage to be bench pressed.

1.5 Mile Run – This test measures the cardio-respiratory fitness of the officer.

It is conducted on a flat surface track / pre-measured (flat) course/treadmill.

The test is measured in minutes and seconds.

After initial PEB qualifications, must re-qualify on an annual basis.

SGOs failing to meet the minimum standards during annual requalification be allowed thirty (30) calendar days to successfully meet minimum standards.

Security Guards failing to meet requirements after 30 calendar days will be placed on Weapons Restriction.

Physical Efficiency Battery: The PEB is a fitness test consisting of three differing components to measure the fitness level of the officer.

The PEB is categorized by age and gender and with a graduated (percentile) scale that ranks officer’s performance from the highest (99th percentile) to the lowest (1st percentile).

As an example, a male between 35 to 39 years old is in the 99th percentile if they have 25.00 inches of flexibility, can push 172.14% of their body weight and can run 1.5 miles in 9:15.

The same person would be in the 1st percentile with scores of 10 inches of flexibility, 51.50% of body weight pushed and a 1.5 mile run in 22:00.

Responsibilities:

The duties/responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following:

• Executes equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, performance verification, troubleshooting and repair activities in laboratory and manufacturing areas, as required per current scheduling (CMMS) System.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Obtain daily work assignments from the lead or supervisor and review relevant Installation Plans (IP) and Shop Order Instants (SOI) to determine the work area.
  • Gather necessary sealants, solvents, cleaners, and wipers from the designated storage area.
  • Install ventilation equipment as required to ensure proper airflow in the work cavity.
  • Clean tank surfaces using appropriate solvents or detergents, ensuring they are wiped dry.
  • Clean and adjust sealing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Load sealing guns and apply sealant and/or topcoat per BAC specifications, including fillet seals to system components and sealing heads and collars of fasteners.
  • Perform a shake-down of work areas prior to tank closure to repair any damaged seals or components and prepare for inspection.
  • Apply wing station identification numbers on tank doors using stencils and spray paint as required.
  • Install fuel tank closure panels or access doors after all necessary steps are complete and accepted by quality assurance.
  • Assist with pressure testing operations and perform functional tests on fuel vent systems and tank cavities to determine if leaks exist.
  • Submit completed jobs or in-process checks to inspectors for acceptance or rejection.
  • Determine proper sealing compounds, sequence of work, and method of application to accomplish assignments.
  • Apply aerodynamic seals to skin gaps on leading and trailing edge panels as required.
  • Position tools for locating vortex generators and apply faying surface seals as needed.
  • Maintain personal and tool certifications, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and contact supervisors for assistance when needed.

  • Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is looking for an Electrophysics Engineer - Antennas & Propagation to join our Test and Evaluation team in the Antenna Test Center in Kent, WA.

The Antenna Test Center is home to the largest fully welded/shielded anechoic chamber in the Boeing Company, a Near Field Scanner and an Electromagnetics Lab.

BT&E is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior level Electrophysics Engineers.

This position will develop test plans/procedures to measure antenna patterns, peak gain and other antenna parameters as requested by customers of the facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating range performance and planning strategic capital investments to improve lab capability to meet future customer needs.

The candidate should have strong fundamental knowledge of antenna design, RF and electromagnetic theory. The candidate should have experience using RF test equipment including Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, etc. This position is responsible for maintaining the lab schedule prioritizing day-to-day activities in support of lab operation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Test antenna and radome parameters using VNAs and automated systems
  • Interpret and calculate antenna parameters from measured data
  • Write scripts in VBScript to automate testing with antenna positioning system
  • Maintain and coordinate lab schedule with various lab customers and lab personnel

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
