Responsibilties:

A day in the life of a Certified Medical Assistant at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

Responsibilties:

A day in the life of a Multi Modality CT TechnologistΒ at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Performs complex CT procedures.
  • Evaluates radiographs to ensure that radiographs contain proper identification and are of diagnostic value.
  • Uses consistent and appropriate techniques to gather relevant information from the medical record, health care proxy and health care providers to prepare protocols for scanning and patient safety. The collection of information is determined by the patient's needs or condition.
  • Determines whether the patient has been appropriately prepared for the procedure.
  • Preps patient for scanning: (i.e. shielding, immobilization devices).
  • Assist providers with CT guided Interventional procedures as required.
  • Perform CT examination and administer contrast following established departmental protocols.
  • Provides accurate explanations and instructions at any appropriate time and at a level the patient can understand. Addresses and documents patient questions and concerns regarding the procedure when appropriate.
  • Performs venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines.
  • Monitors the patient's physical condition during the procedure.Β 
  • Reviews images to determine if additional scans will enhance the diagnostic value of the procedure.
  • Performs retrospective reconstruction on raw data.
  • Provides technical assistance and instruction to students, employees, and medical residents.
  • Adheres to the principals of image gently & image wisely.
  • Follow & adheres to infection control guidelines and sterile techniques.
  • Revises scanning parameters to better visualize the pathology in accordance with established protocol.
  • Reviews all diagnostic or therapeutic data for completeness and accuracy.Β

Qualifications:

  • In collaboration with the CHE and Senior Vice President of Healthcare Development, manage the affairs of the hospital foundation, including but not limited to: Developing, executing and monitoring a comprehensive development program; setting and achieving goals; legal, financial and general management; Board management and trustee recruitment.
  • Responsible for setting realistic, challenging goals and directing major gift activity aimed at meeting those goals within budget.

The Clinical Supervisor provides coverage and support, under the direction of the practice manager and physician(s) of the practice, to clinical team members to ensure smooth patient flow and physician satisfaction. Responsibilties:

A day in the life of a Clinical Supervisor at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

  • Oversees clinical team with assisting the physician to coordinate patient care in the office, hospital, referrals to physicians, and ancillary facilities.
  • Assists Practice Manager in serving as a liaison between the Practice Administrator, the providers, and the team members.
  • Monitors team members, and self, to proactively initiate phone calls to ensure patients are provided with all necessary information and responds to calls as per office protocol and HIPAA guidelines. Proactively reviews chart in advance of patient intake.
  • Accurately and promptly sets up examination rooms and ensures needed materials and equipment are supplied.
  • Ensures that team members, and self, are performing clinical duties in a safe and efficient manner while providing excellent service.
  • Ensures the team consistently complies with CLIA, OSHA, and other state/government regulatory standards/ requirements and agencies.
  • Refers regularly to the POL Policy Manual. Ensures that medical waste, syringes, and needles are handled and disposed of properly.
  • Ensures that the clinical environment is free from hazards that could jeopardize patient safety (e.g., broken tables, chairs, torn carpet, etc.).
  • Reports safety hazards to the practice manager. Is knowledgeable about CLIA and other laboratory requirements as well as practice procedures such as monitoring of medication refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
  • Ensures that patients do not have access to syringes, needles, or drugs by observing office protocols for securing these items.
  • Oversees team members and leads by example to ensure patients, their families, visitors, vendors, team members, and physicians are greeted and communicated with in a professional, courteous manner to promote high quality care and superior levels of service.
  • Assists with accurate and timely processing of accounts payable information, daily deposits, monitoring physician performance and productivity, monthly reports, and providing necessary feedback to improve efficiencies.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Responsibilities

- Provide CBT, ACT, DBT treatment
- Clinical care to patients in the outpatient and inpatient medical and psychiatric unit
- Individual psychotherapy in an outpatient setting
- Optimize whole-person health and wellness.

Qualifications

- Doctoral degree from APA-accredited program in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD), required
- Completion of APA-approved post-doctoral fellowship
- Current New Jersey State Psychology license
- Proficient in evidence-based treatments (i.e. CBT, ACT and DBT)
- Minimum 5 years related clinical experience serving patients across the mental health and work-related spectrum
- Prior experience supervising and training clinicians
- Excellent clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of children and families

COMPENSATION:

Starting Base Salary: $111,924.80 Annually

  • Assists in the facilitation of departmental operations (inventory, staff schedules, equipment maintenance, etc.).
