The Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) manager is a fast-paced position overseeing the planning and coordination of a variety of projects. The VDC Manager will lead all aspects of Harvey Cleary’s VDC construction initiatives across the company, ensuring projects are taken from the design phase and digitally modeled to solve coordination issues before the start of field installation.
This role will function as a subject matter expert for VDC processes and technology innovation platforms, ensuring that building Information modeling (BIM) coordination is utilized throughout the Harvey Cleary organization. Supervisory Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Director of Technology, recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the VDC department.

- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations of VDC team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage deployment of VDC initiatives and VDC technology platforms.
- Train, educate, and mentor VDC engineers as well as project staff on current BIM/VDC processes and services.
- Lead in the compliance, development, and refinement of the Harvey Cleary BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and adhere to the Harvey Cleary BIM standards and refinement of future iterations.
- Create Building Information Models (BIM) of varying Levels of Development (LOD) and dimensions (3/4/5/6D) to meet project requirements.
- Identify, champion, and implement innovative improvements in model-based processes and technologies that improve project delivery.
- Perform clash detection of federated models and lead coordination efforts with project teams, clients, consultants, subcontractors, manufacturers, etc.
- Create 4D and physical models to inform construction planning, site logistics, constructability reviews, lift plans, safety, quality control/assurance, etc.
- Support preconstruction teams in the development of 3D quantity takeoffs.
- Provide technical expertise to assist business development and marketing teams in pursuit efforts, including interview preparation and assistance with site logistics, physical models and 4D site logistics models.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to review the BIM coordination process, as needed, in collaboration with project teams.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the VDC team is producing construction documents that are efficient, accurate, and appropriate for the team’s use in their coordination efforts.
- Mentor and guide the VDC department staff to further the value of the department and it’s day to day responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent training/experience.
- 5+ years AEC industry experience in VDC role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of MEP industry, CAD modeling, construction scheduling, and time managment
- Proven leadership qualities from previous project roles.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
- Must be a motivated self-starter and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Job Summary
The Senior Project Administrator provides advanced administrative support to the Construction Administration team and plays a key role in coordinating all project documentation and processes from project start to project closeout. This role performs all functions of the Project Administrator position but at a higher level of experience, accuracy, independence, and ownership. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and high-performance building requirements.
About the Role
This role requires strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of construction processes, and experience with energy-efficient, high-performance, or Passive House (PHIUS) construction standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and milestones.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.
- Review blueprints and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation of design intent, including high-performance envelope and air-sealing details.
- Oversee implementation of Passive House / PHIUS standards, including air barrier continuity, thermal bridge mitigation, insulation detailing, and window/door installation best practices.
- Coordinate blower door testing, envelope inspections, and other quality control measures required for high-performance building certification.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Utilize software tools such as Procore, MS Project, and Prolog for project management and documentation.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and sustainability goals.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor contracts, ensuring scope compliance and performance standards are achieved.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on construction practices, safety protocols, and high-performance building standards.
- Prepare regular reports on project progress, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7–10 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
- Proven experience in residential and commercial construction, particularly in urban settings.
- Experience with Passive House, PHIUS, or other high-performance building standards strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of building science principles, including air sealing, thermal continuity, moisture management, and energy modeling coordination.
- Experience coordinating envelope testing (e.g., blower door testing) and working with HERS raters or PHIUS verifiers is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal building regulations.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
- Experience using construction management software such as Procore or Prolog is highly desirable.

About the Role:
The Project Manager (PM) will be a lead member in our operations team and will drive the delivery of all the various network infrastructure and cabling projects within a particular site. This position will require the individual to have development, management, customer engagement, operational and overall leadership skills.
Key responsibilities will include establishing the program schedule and ensuring the established targets are met regarding schedule, cost, functionality, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
The role will also include consulting with clients, delivering presentations, resolving project issues, recommendations for new services or enhancements, estimating, proposal writing, project costs management, directing operations on labor requirements, directing/assisting purchasing with bill of materials.
The Project Manager is responsible for the entire successful execution of a project. Their primary responsibilities are to plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities concerned with the construction of their project. The Project Manager shall also participate and at times lead the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, estimating, scheduling, and implementation.
What You’ll Do:
- The project manager is accountable for effective project management and delivery of their projects.
- The PM will work with the extended site team to develop the program schedule and establish key milestones for delivery of the program ensuring all financial targets, schedule targets are met in alignment to the customers’ goals.
- The PM will identify and acquire all resources required by revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- During the pre-construction phase, continuously evaluate the materials and products being proposed for constructability and feasibility. Oversee and at times prepare the cost estimate at multiple stages. Initiate and coordinate the design efforts and the value engineering processes.
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
- Facilitate travel for technicians traveling to the project site.
- Coordinates with the superintendent.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with codes and other regulations.

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management or similar experience.
- 10 + years of direct work experience in any of these areas: construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environment.
- Track record of delivering mission critical programs on time, within budget, and to applicable build, quality, and safety standards.
- Must be able to meet Motor Vehicle Record requirements
