The Material Handler is focused on handling glass pieces and rotate them through the various phases of the tempering, laminating, cutting, or shipping processes and reports to the Department Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual with a strong attention to detail particularly in areas of safety, quality, and efficiency, strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment. A vital member of the Production Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Move glass product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
  • Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another in an effort to expedite the production process
  • Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
  • Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

Warehouse Forklift Operator

Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility using a forklift truck. May also utilize cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job requirements. Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
