Position Summary

The Project Manager supports the wholesale business by leading cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, customer service, inventory performance, and profitability. This role partners with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, Accounting, and Customer Service to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within scope. The Project Manager is responsible for managing timelines, communicating updates, tracking risks, and ensuring teams stay aligned from kickoff through completion.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead end-to-end wholesale projects from planning through execution and closeout, including process improvements, system updates, operational rollouts, and customer initiatives.

This role is a full-time position based in Boulder, Colorado in the Krimson Klover offices (this role is not remote). Four days in-office per week and one day work from home. Occasional evenings/weekends will be required for select events. Travel up to 15%.

Supplemental Information

Salary: The advertised salary is based on full-time employment and includes shortage and school year differentials, if applicable.

Requirements: Applicants must meet all the requirements for the position they are seeking as of the date of the application, unless otherwise specified. Unless specifically indicated, the required education and experience may not be gained concurrently. Calculation of experience is based on full-time, 40-hour workweeks. Part-time experience is pro-rated. Example: Twelve months of experience at 20 hours/week is equivalent to six months of experience, not one year. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


  • Maintains a safe environment for the employees and ensures strict adherence to company Health and Safety standards, including PPE Policy.
  • Support safety drills following the responsibilities of the position.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the team, leading by example.
  • Participates in the selection process for new employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, corrective action, and work schedules.
  • Works with other supervisors and cross-functional department leads to assess employee developmental needs.

  • Works with Production Managers to implement changes on the operations team.
  • Oversees hourly employees’ payroll and ensures that time and attendance for assigned employees are accurate in Paylocity.
  • Establishes daily, weekly, and monthly objectives with the production manager and additional Production Supervisors, effectively communicating them to employees, driving results,
  • Manages availability of equipment, human and material resources required to meet production targets and efficiencies.
  • Maintains the Quality of the product by implementing and enforcing quality control and tracking programs (SPC) to meet quality objectives.
  • Effectively works cross-functionally across all departments.
  • Ensures equipment operation by calling for repairs and following up on equipment status until back to operation through the work order process.
  • Contributes to projects of cost reductions, developing and reporting results.
  • Provides information by gathering production performance records and data to prepare reports on performance and progress, presenting to leadership when needed.
  • Reviews and maintains daily reporting (batch/production/packaging reports).
  • Informs leadership of all requirements tools, supplies, or any resources to accomplish production objectives.
  • Understands and can communicate about blueprints, diagrams, schedules, and miscellaneous documents.
  • Trains new employees on the use of our machinery safely.
  • Leads 5S activities.
  • Supports continuous improvement process.
  • Supports requests from other departments (NPD, Maintenance.)
  • Maintains and covers schedules as needed.
  • Additional availability outside of assigned working hours during rare and critical circumstances.
  • Committed to following and adhering to GMP and Food Safety practices to comply with SQF and regulatory requirements.


Required Experience


  • 5 years of team leadership experience in the manufacturing and production environment
  • Food manufacturing experience required
  • Development of policies and programs in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with baking technology a plus
  • Familiarity with American Institute of Baking (AIB), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards.

World Honey Market, LLC seeks a Production Operations Manager to oversee our honey processing and packaging facility and obtain SQF Certification. With 30,000+ colonies producing premium honey for major retailers, we need a supply chain and production expert to optimize our manufacturing operations.

We control the entire honey supply chain from hive to shelf. Our production facility in Sanderson, Florida processes raw honey from our 30,000+ colonies and partner apiaries into retail-ready products for major big box stores and small local retailers. We're expanding through acquisitions and need production excellence to support our growth.


What You'll Do


Production Management

  • Oversee daily honey processing, filtering, and bottling operations
  • Manage production scheduling to meet retail customer demands and delivery windows
  • Ensure product quality standards and consistency across all SKUs
  • Optimize production line efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Implement and maintain food safety protocols (HACCP, SQF, FDA compliance)
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs

Supply Chain & Inventory

  • Forecast and order raw honey requirements from company apiaries and external suppliers
  • Manage bulk honey inventory (drums, totes) and optimize storage utilization
  • Coordinate raw material purchasing (bottles, caps, labels, packaging materials)
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels - minimize carrying costs while preventing stockouts
  • Negotiate with suppliers for packaging materials and production supplies
  • Implement inventory tracking systems and maintain accurate records

Team Leadership

  • Lead production team of 3-5 employees across multiple shifts
  • Hire, train, and develop production staff
  • Create and maintain production SOPs and training materials
  • Manage scheduling to align workforce with production demands
  • Foster safety-first culture and maintain OSHA compliance
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions

Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze production metrics and identify efficiency opportunities
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives in packaging and materials
  • Develop KPIs and reporting for production performance
  • Coordinate with Director of Finance on cost analysis and budgeting


What We're Looking For


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years production management experience in food manufacturing (required)
  • Proven experience managing 10+ production employees
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality systems (HACCP & SQF)
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization (Quickbooks & Fishbowl)
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in honey, syrup, or viscous liquid processing
  • Knowledge of bottling/packaging line operations
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Forklift certification
