What You’ll Do

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Purchasing and Receiving teams.

Materials & Inventory Management

  • Own and improve inventory accuracy and inventory turns.

  • Identify and implement improvements to reduce waste and streamline material flow.

ERP & Systems Leadership

  • Leverage ERP systems to manage inventory and materials planning.
  • Support ERP enhancements and contribute to ERP implementation initiatives (Oracle preferred).
  • Drive data accuracy and system discipline across materials processes.


What You Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, operations, or related roles.
  • Experience managing direct reports; open to strong leads ready for their next career step.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related).
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Oracle ideally; SAP, Frontier, AS400 also valuable).
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus.
  • Background in the building industry or similar manufacturing environments is highly transferable.

As a Material Handler, you are a vital part vital part of our team! In this position, you will be responsible for receiving raw materials, supplying production with raw materials, performing cycle counts, maintaining orderly warehouse and operating power industrial equipment (training provided).

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of food safety and quality, as applicable and defined in plant and department procedures.
  • Stage or deliver raw materials needed for all production lines on a daily basis including cups, lids, fruit, and cardboard.
  • Work with other Material Handlers and filler operators to ensure materials needed are staged in a timely fashion.
  • Receive in-coming raw materials and supplies.
  • Use handheld device receive and transfer inventory items in and out of warehouse stock.

Yes - you read that right! Our two week rotation in Production allows our team members to have every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday off!

• Review forecasts and develop long-term material planning strategies to support field service and production needs

• Drive purchasing activity to support demand for field service or production materials

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of raw materials and NPI finished goods through product development and release stages

• Track production volume and monitor customer demand patterns to proactively address supply risks

• Perform excess and obsolete (E&O) analysis, prepare inventory reports, and lead E&O review discussions with clear recommendations

• Manage inventory challenges including schedule changes, cancellations, and material constraints

• Prepare and publish cost estimates, inventory reports, and KPI updates

• Proactively escalate and resolve material challenges with internal teams and external customers while balancing service and business priorities


Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization

• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with clear goals and accountability

• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams, including remote teams

• Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive resolution of material and inventory issues

Summary: The Senior Material Scheduler is responsible for planning and scheduling raw materials and packaging to support production operations. This role ensures material availability aligns with production schedules while optimizing inventory levels, minimizing shortages, and controlling costs. The Sr. Material Scheduler works cross-functionally with Procurement, Production Planning, Operations, and Suppliers to maintain efficient supply chain operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain material requirements plans (MRP) based on production forecasts and demand plans.
  • Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials and packaging components.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to manage supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Analyze demand variability and adjust material plans accordingly.
  • Identify and resolve material shortages or supply chain disruptions.
  • Coordinate with Production Planning to align material flow with manufacturing schedules.
  • Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in material planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
