Turner Ace Hardware has an immediate opening for a Cashier. The primary responsibilities of the Cashier position are to maintain helpful customer service, process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently, and operating cash registers, scanners and other electronics.

Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service as they enter the store and complete their transactions.
- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Answer phone calls
- Tactfully and pleasantly deal with customers
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
- Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers
- Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked
- Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by store management
- Solicit customers to open an Ace Rewards card
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in a retail environment either in cashier, sales, or back office
- A commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction
- Ability to process information and/or merchandise through register system
- Ability to communicate effectively with associates and customers
- Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills with a strong willingness to learn

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships by phone, email, and in person.

- Manage the implementation process; prepare and deliver all applicable forms to client.
- Formulate a plan with Producer to conduct relationship management meetings and/or visits with assigned clients.
- Proficient in the client management system(s), specifically to update policies that are written or renewed, log activities to document client meetings, carrier follow-up, service issues, establish follow-up date and daily manage follow-up in client management system(s). Also, understand how to use the system to acquire information to assist clients.
- Attend seminars, classes, and carrier meetings to keep abreast of new products available for clients and acquire expertise in legislative changes, as opportunities occur.
- Mentor team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

Under minimal supervision, the Contract Administrator is responsible for drafting and conducting legal reviews of contracts, managing contract negotiations and maintaining a comprehensive database of contracts for the region. This role involves overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial drafting using approved contract templates or reviewing the counterparty’s template, negotiation of proposed changes to the terms through execution and filing of the contract. The Contract Administrator is a liaison working closely with regional legal and compliance colleagues, regional counsel and with various other internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with the company’s contractual obligations and to establish protocols and procedures related to contract review and management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Commercial Contract Management:
- Analyze, redline review and draft various contracts, including but not limited to non-disclosure agreements, client service agreements, business associate agreements, data privacy and security agreements and referral agreements.
- Identify potential legal and financial risks, ensuring agreements align with company policies and legal regulations.
- Collaborate with regional legal and compliance colleagues, regional counsel and other stakeholders to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain a centralized contract database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on all contracts, amendments, addendums and supporting negotiation correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and work with in-house counsel to identify and resolve any potential breaches or disputes.
- Process Development and Improvement:
- Implement standardized protocols and procedures for contract management and assist in preparation of contract-related documents, such as templates, guidelines and policies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve contract management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Help identify and track areas of operational and contractual risk and support follow-up actions or process improvements.
- Identify opportunities for automation and leverage technology tools to streamline contract administration.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including contract negotiation correspondence and other documentation as needed.
- Generate reports and analytics on contract volume, status, performance, and compliance for management review.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments, including legal, privacy, accounting and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination in contract management activities.

Education and/or Experience

This position interacts with and provides service to a large group of internal colleagues and has high levels of contact with clients and external business partners. The Contracts Administrator must be positive and approachable and work effectively with diverse personalities. In addition, the following is required unless otherwise noted:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field; paralegal certificate or related legal administration training strongly preferred.
- Successful work history to include a minimum of five (5) or more years experience in contract administration, contract lifecycle management, legal operations or a similar role with demonstrated experience implementing, administering, or significantly enhancing a contract management or records management system.
- Proficient in contract development, contract standards and language.
- Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of contracts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in contract review and analysis, including strong writing, editing, and research skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated ability to resolve problems and present results neatly with clarity and precision in oral and written form.

As our Benefits Service Analyst on the Employee Benefits team, you will:
- Prepare client spreadsheets and proposals such as benefits comparison, rates comparison, Total Spend Summary, employee contribution modeling, etc.
- Prepare client presentations including creating/updating agendas, PowerPoint presentations, copying and binding presentations, etc. as needed

- Support RFP preparation, including requesting & formatting census and preparing RFP specifications letter

A day in the life.
As our Operation Specialist on the McGriff commercial insurance team, you’ll support office leaders on strategic projects and initiatives to help meet operational goals, add efficiency and drive excellence, and provide administrative support to individuals and department. A few key duties include:
- Prepare or organize documents to assist with ongoing strategic projects.
- Contribute to data integrity projects – help provide assistance to identify solutions, data cleanup, and other ongoing projects to support office.
- Establish and maintain templates that can be used for client presentations.
- Work with offshoring team as well as third party vendors as needed
- Serve as subject matter expert for questions related to systems, procedures, workflows, and resources.
- Provide administrative help to assist teammates
- Perform other administrative task as assigned

The primary focus of the Client Administrator is to provide technical support to Client Executives and to clients in maintaining Business Insurance insurance policies in accordance with the objectives and procedures outlined by the Business Insurance Procedures Manual and by the Director, Client Services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Process paperwork for new and renewal business to include:
- Applications and other documents required for a submission
- Binders
- Certificates of Insurance
- Policies
- Invoices
- Finance Agreements
- Endorsements
- Audits
- Perform account reconciliation.
- Review Loss Runs and Claim Status Reports. Order any missing loss runs or request updated loss runs as needed for marketing submission.
- Prepare Summary Of Insurance.
- Have good verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication.
- Maintain client files.
- File all documentation in ImageRight per regions filing guidelines.
- Manage Tasks within ImageRight.
- Participate in Errors & Omission audits.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective working relations with other Associates and clients.
Education and/or Experience
- A bachelor’s degree is required, or a minimum of 2 – 5 years industry experience showing increasing responsibility directly related to the performance of the above duties
- A good understanding of insurance terminology, the general functions of an insurance broker, and the various lines of Business Insurance insurance.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully perform the duties of an Insurance Associate if currently employed at Marsh & McLennan.
- Possess and maintain a valid unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Solicitors License.
- Currently hold or be in the process of obtaining an insurance designation with a willingness to pursue advanced insurance designations and continuing education.
- Proficiency with MS Office software (i.e., Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Prioritize tasks, and set and achieve goals, think logically in solving problems and present results neatly, with clarity and precision in both oral and written form.
- Strong attention to detail.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as use office machinery such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.
- Work is performed in a typical interior office environment.
The applicable hourly rate range for this role is $21.05 to $44.92.
The hourly rate offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
