The Production Operator / Assembler supports the manufacturing of copper tube products by performing routine, highly repetitive assembly and production tasks. This role operates in a unionized manufacturing environment and focuses on quality, safety, and efficiency while working under close supervision. Employees typically work at a workbench, production line, or machine station and may rotate across tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assemble minor products or components involved in copper tube manufacturing using manual and machine-assisted processes
- Perform repetitive production tasks such as checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, trimming, tying, snipping, or pasting components
- Operate basic manufacturing or packaging equipment and perform minor equipment adjustments
- Conduct routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of workstations and equipment
- Monitor product quality and report defects or equipment issues to supervision
- Move materials, assemblies, or equipment as needed to support production flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with EHS requirements
- Follow all plant safety rules, work instructions, and collective bargaining agreement (CBA) provisions
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production operations

Compensation for this position is established and governed by the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
- Pay rates, progression, premiums, and differentials are defined by the CBA in effect at the time of hire
- Individual pay within the classification is determined based on job classification, shift, and contractual wage schedules, not individual negotiation
Benefits and additional compensation are also governed by the CBA and may include health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, holidays, and applicable shift premiums.

Job ScopeThe Senior Product Manager (PM) develops and manages the long-term strategic vision and drives growth of the Maxface Portfolio of the Acumed CMF business unit. Leads the development of the portfolio strategy by capturing competitive/market intel and developing an understanding of key customer needs. Works with the Product Management team and other departments within the company to drive strategic downstream and annual marketing plan activities; including product launches, sales training, medical education content creation and market development activities. Works closely with other groups including sales, regulatory, product development to drive the strategic marketing plan objectives forward. Gathers data to facilitate business decisions regarding product development and portfolio strategies that are communicated across key Acumed stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Oversee the formulation of Maxface product portfolio strategies and tactical execution pertaining to pricing, marketing promotional, and clinical data, strategies.
- Tell a story about the values and benefits our products provide to healthcare providers and patients.
- Drive and creates value proposition and works with the team to develop messaging for Maxface products in the OMFS, Plastic, and ENT, customer segments.
- Understand and communicate market trends, sales trends, market share, and unit sales trends for each product line in assigned portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to determine future product development and business growth projects in order to maintain growth in alignment with overall corporate objectives.
- Prepare long range, annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasts for each product line. Analyze forecast variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain product line technical expertise and contacts with customers by observing surgery, attending medical/scientific meetings, presentations, and seminars.
- Develop relationships with surgeon consultants to drive product development and educational programs.
- Utilize primary and secondary market research reports to analyze and identify market needs and issues. Evaluate existing product portfolio in light of those changes and develop new strategies when appropriate.
- Conduct product training programs for internal and external customers. Train Acumed field representatives on Acumed products and the competition at a product expert level.
- Create product and portfolio messaging and positioning strategies for new and current products to drive adoption and portfolio growth.
- Represent Acumed CMF at tradeshows and educational courses to increase awareness of new product requirements and market opportunities.
- Create and support the creation of annual marketing plans and strategic marketing plans to achieve the organization's objectives and drive company growth.
- BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field required. An MBA or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales or classical marketing function, preferably with direct product management experience.
- 3+ years of experience in medical device or similar industry is highly preferred. A background in Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) and a familiarity working with OMFS, Plastic, and ENT, are major bonuses.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and execute product launches globally.
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis, performance analysis, business planning, business forecasting concepts, and strategic planning.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills are required for interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to become a product and clinical subject matter expert.

The Vice President of Operations, Americas is a senior executive leader responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of a ~$500M multi-site manufacturing and supply network across the United States and Mexico.
This role carries direct line responsibility for the Pharr, TX operation, which is a critical, technology-enabled manufacturing site and the primary focus of the role in its initial years. In addition, the VP Operations maintains enterprise accountability for all direct and indirect operations tied to Pharr and spanning the broader MFT Americas footprint, including Reynosa and U.S. legacy sites.
The role provides enterprise leadership for manufacturing, automation, footprint strategy, and operational execution, balancing near-term delivery with long-term scalability and margin expansion.
Reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Operations, Americas, this role serves as a key member of the Americas leadership team and plays a central role in shaping capital deployment, operating model design, and enterprise execution.
What You’ll Do
Direct Site Leadership – Pharr, TX (Primary Accountability)
- Serve as the direct operational leader for the Pharr, TX greenfield facility, with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.
- Lead planning, design, and readiness activities during the approval and pre-launch phase, transitioning to full operational leadership as the site comes online (targeted for early 2027).
- Lead day-to-day execution while building scalable systems, standards, and leadership capabilities.
- Ensure Pharr operates as a model site for automation, productivity, and operational discipline from day one.
Enterprise Operations Leadership
- Provide executive oversight across all MFT Americas manufacturing and operations sites, ensuring alignment, performance transparency, and consistent standards.
- Balance site-level accountability with enterprise standardization and shared best practices.
- Lead cross-border operations across the U.S. and Mexico, integrating regulatory, labor, cultural, and cost considerations.
Greenfield Development & Advanced Manufacturing (Critical Requirement)
- Co-lead in partnership with Business Transformation team, the design, build, and ramp-up of technology-driven greenfield manufacturing capacity, including layout, automation strategy, workforce model, and operating standards.
- Translate business requirements into scalable manufacturing systems leveraging automation, robotics, and digital tools.
- Ensure greenfield investments are sequenced, ROI-driven, and execution-focused, with clear milestones and accountability.
Footprint Strategy & Automation
- Own manufacturing footprint strategy, including site roles, capacity planning, and regionalization decisions.
- Lead make/buy and automation vs. labor trade-offs to optimize cost, resilience, and speed to market.
- Partner with Engineering, IT, and the Business Transformation team to advance digital manufacturing and operational visibility.
Financial & Performance Accountability
- Full ownership of operational P&L performance, including conversion cost, productivity, fixed-cost absorption, and margin delivery.
- Own operational budgets, capital planning, and return-on-investment discipline.
- Drive working capital improvement through inventory optimization, flow, and execution rigor.
- Establish and manage enterprise KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, cost, cash, and people.
Talent, Culture & Change Leadership
- Build and develop a strong bench of site and regional operations leaders.
- Lead large-scale operational and organizational changes, including automation deployment and operating model evolution.

- Senior-level experience (VP or equivalent) leading complex manufacturing operations.
- Proven success with automation, robotics, PLC-driven systems, and advanced manufacturing.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership, capital planning, and ROI discipline.
- Cross-border operations experience across the U.S. and Mexico.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, or related field.
- Fluent in English; Spanish strongly preferred.

- MBA or advanced degree.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent.
