Lead the end-to-end mechanical design and engineering of hyperscale Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) systems, including liquid-cooled rack assemblies, CDUs, manifolds, enclosures, structural frames, and associated hydronic piping systems.
Serve as the technical authority for single-phase and two-phase liquid cooling architectures, including primary and secondary loop design, in-rack distribution, and system integration within hyperscale data center environments.
Define and validate operational performance requirements for liquid-cooled infrastructure, including pressure ratings, hydrostatic limits, temperature ranges, flow rates and uniformity, thermal expansion, durability, and serviceability.
Design, analyze, and validate machined components, welded fabrications, manifolds, and structural systems using advanced engineering principles, including stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), flow modeling, and structural load calculations to ensure mechanical integrity and code compliance.
Lead wetted material selection and compatibility analysis for liquid cooling systems, including corrosion mitigation strategies, surface treatments, cleanliness standards, and long-term durability considerations.
Develop and review CAD models and complete technical data packages using CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools; Author and approve technical specifications for piping systems, rack-level cooling infrastructure, and hydronic components, including installation guidelines, maintenance procedures, testing requirements, and compliance with applicable standards (ASME, ISO).
Establish and oversee validation protocols including hydrostatic pressure testing, leak detection and mitigation, flow resistance analysis, and corrosion verification to ensure regulatory compliance and operational reliability.
Evaluate customer design proposals and technical specifications to assess feasibility, manufacturability, cost, and risk; provide recommendations to optimize performance and total cost of ownership.

We are launching a new manufacturing site in Salisbury, NC focused on server systems, racks, and liquid-cooled infrastructure products.

- We are seeking a Supplier Quality leader with proven results standing up supplier quality at a facility from ground zeroβ€”creating the processes, developing the team, qualifying suppliers, and driving stable ramp to volume.

- You will lead supplier quality strategy and execution across electrical and fluid handling supply chains.

- You will also manage a team of Incoming Quality Inspectors, establish robust incoming controls and escalation pathways while partnering closely with Engineering, NPI, Operations, and Program Management.

What will you do?

New Site Build-Out (Ground Zero)

- Stand up the Supplier Quality function for a new facility: governance, SOPs, templates, and operating cadence.

- Establish and deploy PPAP-based supplier readiness expectations aligned to customer requirements and internal standards.

- Build a scalable model for supplier onboarding, qualification, risk tiering, and ongoing supplier performance management.

Supplier Qualification, Audits & PPAP Execution

- Own supplier PPAP strategy and execution including:

Position Overview:

This position requires industrial mechanical knowledge, some electrical, including but not limited to the responsibilities listed below. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

  • Diagnose and repair all machinery and process malfunctions. Must be fluent in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting a plus.

  • Experience with VFDs, control systems (PLC’s/HMI’s), electrical protective devices with some knowledge of calibration procedures and equipment.
  • Skilled in the application and use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools. 480v 3 phase knowledge required.
  • Excellent mechanical troubleshooting ability, electrical a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and practice of NFPA 70E preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience and demonstrated history of troubleshooting and repairing equipment (described above), personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and Networking devices. Allen Bradley and/or Siemens experience preferred.
  • Skilled in the machine shop to machine within specific tolerance using various measuring equipment – i.e. verniers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.
  • Skilled in welding, sanitary welding, pipe fitting, soldering, and rigging is desired
