Job Summary

- Responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases.
- Able to independently perform job functions.
- Sets up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Patient Care
- Obtains complete clinical history, gathers examination data and assesses for contraindicating conditions.
- Follows established procedures for the administration of contrast medias so that no patient condition deteriorates, and no patient suffers undue pain, due to error or poor technique if applicable.
- Ensures that all studies have proper patient identification and right and left marker are utilized appropriately.
- Reviews radiographic images for clinically acceptable results and releases patients.
- Responds to emergency situations and provides for the restocking of the crash cart and maintenance of life support equipment if applicable.
- Assists other technologists in all modalities when needed if applicable.
- Observes patient condition and properly evaluates situations when physician intervention is necessary so that no patient condition deteriorates as the result of misjudgment.
- Verifies two unique patient identifiers and correct clinical order prior to performing a procedure per policy.
- Ensures patient's privacy and comfort is accommodated.
- Demonstrates competence in the determination and application of appropriate procedures, equipment, supplies and techniques based on the age of patients.
- Organizes schedule, time and priorities so that required activities are accomplished within designated time frames.

Equipment
- Demonstrates the ability to adjust technique so that patient receives the lowest possible dose of ionizing radiation and that image quality is maintained.
- Reports problems regarding malfunctioning equipment to supervisor or service provider, so that problem can be corrected in a timely manner.
- Cleans, disinfects and maintains equipment in accordance with infection control policy and department schedule.
- Ability to operate all aspects of the system.
- Ability to operate all radiographic equipment in a safe and competent manner, assuring that equipment is not abused and is left in good working order.
Education and Communication
- Patiently and clearly explains purpose and nature of exam to patient prior to starting of procedure, to minimize anxiety and facilitate cooperation using AIDET; Acknowledge, Introduce, Discuss, Explain, and Thank you of all patients and family members.
- Ensures that patient's questions, concerns or contraindications are satisfactorily addressed, notifying physician when this cannot be accomplished, prior to the initiation of the procedure.
- Participates in the orientation and training of departmental employees.
- Provides patients with preparatory instruction and explanation of procedures.
- Required documentation is concise, legible and includes precise terminology.
- Reads email each day scheduled to work and follows through with assignment.
- Completes mandatory departmental and Hospital-wide education without prompting.
Quality Control
- Consistently produces high quality images including appropriate collimation, shielding, technique selection, penetration and positioning.
- Ensures that equipment is fully operational prior to each use, by checking for proper calibration and operating deficiencies.
- Sends all studies to PACS; prints CDs as necessary. All exams are complete in RIS including image oriented, marked, labeled, and notes are accurate.
- Studies that have been transmitted after hours by teleradiography are printed and scanned into PACS, if applicable.
- Checks for prior exams and assures that they are loaded, if necessary, and properly labeled prior to sending to PACS.
Operations
- Restocks linens and supplies, and maintains Diagnostic Imaging Services in clean and orderly condition.
- Transports patients, positions patients, and helps them on and off procedure table.
- Performs patient charging activities on the day the service is rendered.
- Applies shielding, supportive and immobilization devices and equipment.
- Willingly lends knowledge and assistance to others upon request as needed and routinely as time is available, without prompting, so that all working time is used for departmental advantage.
- Performs routine duties of clerical and support personnel in accordance with procedure when warranted to ensure continuity and quality of services.
- Keeps supervisor informed on all responsibilities on an ongoing basis, ensuring prompt notification in the event of problems or potential problems.
- Maintains an individual productivity rate equal to other co-workers.
- Maintains Joint Commission and any other regulatory agency standards.
- Ability to transfer / retrieve images on the PACS system.
- Takes call when necessary.
- Any other duties as assigned.

- Ensure prompt response & resolution of incidents/service requests while monitoring ticket queues & performance metrics
- Establish & enforce Helpdesk policies, procedures, & SLAs
- Act as primary escalation point for complex or critical technical issues
- Identify recurring technical issues & implement root-cause solutions to improve stability
- Maintain & improve internal documentation, Knowledgebase, & SOPs
- Oversee onboarding & ongoing training programs for IT Technicians

REQUIRED:

Under moderate supervision, the IT Support Specialist - Service Desk (ITSS-SD), provides technical solutions to faculty, staff, and students for all aspects of PC/Apple/Mobile device support and configuration within a wide variety of end user environments.
All tasks and outcomes are documented and communicated within a ticketing application. The ITSS-SD works within an ITIL, metrics driven service operation environment providing technical set-up, support, service, and creative solutions for technology users. The ITSS-SD functions as a member of the Central Action Center (Service Desk) call center, owning and sharing tasks as workload as volume dictates. Must be capable of remote support, phone and chat support, support via e-mail, multi-team collaboration, and other duties as assigned. They will also coordinate with our Mobile Action and Learning Environments teams to deliver fully comprehensive support. All IT Support Specialists work in a 0-3 Tiered support environment. Any specialist may be required to work in any of the four tiers as needed.
The ITSS-SD must be able to work independently on moderately complex Windows and Apple technology while following documented protocols. All team members create documentation for the division's knowledge base. This role requires remaining current with emerging technologies via training, self-study, and peer interaction.
The ITSS-SDs are expected to understand and follow consistent defined processes for all service interactions while observing established standards. All team members focus on continual improvement in all areas.

- Basic operational support. May have defined role within a team working towards stated objectives. All workflow and results are documented in a ticketing application. Process and knowledge documentation for all tasks.
- Moderately complex solution development and implementation for common problems and services. Work incidents and service requests that require moderate planning, testing, evaluating, and coordination. May involve multiple teams and vendors to resolve.
- Maintains and applies knowledge of Microsoft and Apple hardware, software, and operating systems including Apple, Microsoft and Android mobile technology. Learning new technology and sharing associated knowledge with others.
- Team meetings and other duties as assigned which may become a permanent duty of the position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent technical experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years combined experience in on or more of the following:
- Phone, deskside and/or remote based technical support experience for Microsoft and Apple technology.
- Working with Ivanti and/or Apple JAMF endpoint management platforms (or equivalent).
- Supporting mobile devices including Apple, iOS, Android, and Microsoft

Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the store team so that a best in class experience for customers can be delivered. Provides great support to customers and the store team while constantly striving for improvement. This full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Medium and Heavy Truck Technology (MHTT) presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the exceptional training and pedagogy at the College.
The Transportation Technologies department offers various degree and certificate options to prepare students to be successful technicians in the transportation industry. The department programming focuses on automotive service technology, carbon-based alternative fuels, electric vehicles & hybrids, heavy vehicle & truck repair, and Toyota technician training. All programs prepare students to pass the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) examinations and professional manufacturer certifications.
Medium and Heavy Truck Technology (MHTT) is an A.A.S degree program that enables students to gain hands-on, practical knowledge and service of medium and heavy vehicle and equipment platforms, including trucks, buses, tractor-trailer systems, and off-road equipment. The courses are both aligned and in compliance with the Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (ASEEF) to provide industry-certified quality of instruction and accreditation. MHTT courses are also part of two professional certificates offered at the College which provide a practical skillset and allow a student to gain quick entry into the industry.

Specific Responsibilities

* Attend required Medium and Heavy Truck training and facilitate student engagement on the college's learning management systems.
* Create a vibrant Medium and Heavy Truck advisory committee to help fill the needs of area medium and heavy truck service providers by creating lasting relationships that facilitate student and graduate employment opportunities.
* Establish, maintain and implement a system to effectively attract and retain students for the Medium and Heavy Truck degree program from the Greater Philadelphia region.
* Support community college students as they further develop their medium and heavy truck technology skills, professional attitudes, and behaviors, for college and workplace success.
* Facilitate student learning, provide effective instruction, and perform evaluations of student learning for all assigned classes, using each course's standard course outline and requirements as guides.
* Meet all classes and other scheduled responsibilities such as office hours and meetings at the designated times. Be available to students via email, phone, or personal conferences. The method of contact and hours of availability should be clearly communicated to supervisors and to students through the course syllabus each semester.
* Become expert in curricula and other course materials, prepare lectures, hands-on activities, and presentations for effective teaching.
* Assign grades and maintain course/student records in accordance with FERPA regulations and submit grades and records by established deadlines.
* Proactively identify and address student problems.
* Maintain and develop curriculum that is consistent with departmental learning objectives. Work with other faculty and administrators in developing program curriculum, standards, and policies, including reviewing and participating in textbook selection process where appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
* ASE Master certified technician with L2 Advanced Electric Diesel Diagnosis Certification preferred.
* College level teaching experience preferred.

The Technology Support & Training Specialist provides high-quality technical support to attorneys and business services staff in a law firm environment. This role supports firm-approved hardware, software, and legal applications while delivering excellent client service, practical user guidance, and training to ensure technology is used efficiently and securely.
Pay range for this role is: $35/hour to $43/hour ($72,800-$89,440/year)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for attorneys and staff.
- Troubleshoot issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and firm applications.
- Support legal technology including document management, Microsoft 365, collaboration, and practice-specific tools.
- Respond to and manage service desk tickets, ensuring timely communication and resolution.

Qualifications

- Experience supporting Windows operating systems and hardware.
- Familiarity with legal applications such as document management systems and document productivity tools preferred.
