CRNA Qualifications
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical anesthesia experience
- Proficiency in epidurals, spinals, and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia
- Ability to perform anesthesia blocks (PECS, Serratus Plane, Erector Spinae, TAP, Cervical Plexus)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Clear background and malpractice history (temporary privileges available)
- COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions considered)
- Flexibility to cover days, call, and night shifts as needed
CRNA Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases: general, orthopedic, OB/GYN (including TOCALS/VBACs), ENT, podiatry, urology, plastics, radiology, vascular, and healthy pediatric patients (age 1+, mostly ENT)
- Perform epidurals, spinals, and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia procedures
- Participate in call coverage, including primary and secondary call, with post-call days off as scheduled
- Collaborate with a team of CRNAs and other healthcare professionals
- Document patient care in Cerner EMR system
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
