Duties

• Prepare digital files for printing by performing prepress tasks such as color correction, layout adjustments, and proofing using industry-standard software like Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prepare and inspect digital and physical proofs prior to distribution to clients

• Knowledge of file prep for specialty processes like foil stamping, screen printing, engraving, die cutting, etc.
• Inspect and troubleshoot problematic files.
• Strong knowledge of imposition and layout
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify and resolve issues related to typography, layout design, or image quality before final printing.
• Collaborate with clients, graphic designers and production teams to optimize print layouts, ensuring alignment with client specifications and branding standards.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Kodak PRINERGY, Kodak PREPS, PitStop, Neo, Aleyant’s Pressero and edoc Builder a BIG PLUS!

• Proven experience with prepress operations, including file preparation, proofing, and color management.
• Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, layout design, and print advertising standards.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for digital file editing and preparation.
• Familiarity with foil stamping, screen printing processes, lithography, digital printing including variable data printing, engraving, etc.

Job Description:

• We are seeking a Mac Support Technician with hands-on JAMF experience to provide Tier 1 technical support for Mac devices and end users. This role is responsible for device deployment, troubleshooting, ticket management, and supporting day-to-day IT operations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 1 support for Mac hardware, macOS, software applications, connectivity, and peripherals
• Image, configure, and deploy Mac devices using JAMF
• Manage device inventory, policies, and updates in JAMF
• Perform password resets and assist users with MFA setup and troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot email, VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity issues
• Use ServiceNow (or similar ticketing system) to log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents
• Escalate complex technical issues to Tier 2/Engineering teams as needed
• Coordinate warranty repairs, device replacements, and hardware upgrades
• Maintain documentation for common issues and solutions

Experience:

• 1–3 years of IT support experience

The ideal candidate will have a solid background supporting both Mac and Windows enterprise environments (over 500 end users), with a stronger emphasis on Mac. The IT Service Desk Technician provides basic technical assistance and support to internal end users as well as augments the IT Service Desk Team by performing repetitive tasks and functions, such as imagining hardware, swapping devices, and counting IT hardware inventory.

Responsibilities:

• Be the face of IT to corporate employees in the respective office location.
• Ensure that the physical IT technology in the office is operational (e.g. AV rooms, wifi, badge readers, cameras, etc).

• Prior experience providing Desktop Support at Tier 2 levels as well as being in an active member of an on-call support rotation.
• Experience using desktop imagining and MDM tools, such as Intune, SmartImager, Imperious, and SmartDeploy.
• Thorough knowledge of PC hardware, PDA devices, desktop software, Windows 10 and 11, O365, anti-virus, internet browsers, and network connectivity.
• Hands-on experience working with and updating support tickets in a ticket management platform such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira.
