Quad is seeking Distribution Technicians (Forklift Operators)3rd shift to join our Midwest Commingle Center in Waukesha, WI !
The wage range is $17.50 - $19.00+ depending on experience.
Distribution Technicians are responsible for the following:
- Freight -loading and unloading of finished products and materials from semi-trailers and auto-wrappers using a forklift.
- Inventory control- maintaining accurate inventories with the use of a PC and RF bar code scanning system.
- Warehousing - supplying machines with materials needed
Required Qualifications:
- Good verbal and reading comprehension, the ability to thrive in a team environment, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Candidates must have average to above-average computer skills and/or prior forklift experience in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work 3rd shift (12 am-8am)
- Ability to work a split shift; this is not a Mon.- Fri. schedule, you will have 5 scheduled work days and 2 days off per week – options will be discussed during the in-person interview

The Master Production Planner Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing both short- and long-term production schedules. This role involves adjusting schedules based on forecasts and production capacity to support Sales and Operations initiatives. Key responsibilities include coordinating production, monitoring inventory availability, and managing expedited orders to ensure accurate delivery dates and maximize efficiency.
The Master Production Planner Scheduler is tasked with developing master specifications, general material specifications, production jobs, and work instructions, which communicate the details of a customer's order in line with the item's specifications. This position requires close collaboration with the Operations, Purchasing, Quality, and Shipping & Receiving teams to ensure everyone has a clear understanding of the requirements needed to meet production priorities. In the absence of the Master Production Planner Scheduler, the Director of Supply Chain will take over these responsibilities.

- Monitor schedule movement and manage expectations via clear, concise communication to support accurate promise dates.
- Continuously gain knowledge and understanding critical to manufacturing and variables that affect productivity related to machine capabilities and changeovers.
- Research discrepancies and issues to effectively solve these opportunities on time.
- Facilitate open, positive communication and teamwork between departments to drive toward common goals.
- Monitor and communicate KPI data and analysis needed to implement opportunities to improve lead times, on-time delivery, and schedule attainment.
- Perform other duties which may be assigned as part of the essential functions of the position.
- Production Job creation of all New, Repeat with change, Repeat, and Trial jobs.
- Develop and maintain Master Estimates for all product types.
- Generates improvement ideas and embraces improvement projects to better the business.
- Perform post-production analysis and implement necessary changes to items or master specifications.
Skills And Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of direct planning/master scheduling experience.
- Knowledge of Production, Quality Control, and Supply Chain processes to facilitate effective strategies.
- Ability to be flexible in adapting to changing requirements and prioritize multiple tasks proactively.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Dependable, ambitious, and energetic with a positive demeanor.
- Forward thinker with a creative approach toward building solutions.
- Detail orientation required for information systems' inputs with a high degree of accuracy.
- Experienced in the use of ERP systems. Radius Highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Windows Operating system
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.

- Four-year degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
