Our Senior Principal Embedded Real-Time Software Developer/Integrator is a technical position that works in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment to architect, design, implement, test, debug, and deploy Software for Firmware (FPGA) and Hardware solutions that meet current and next generation autonomous avionics systems’ needs. Working with a cross-discipline team, the candidate must have experience developing, testing, and integrating software for edge or embedded devices and/or subsystems (like telecom, medical, IoT, automotive, or robotics) where hardware operation, time critical function, functional reliability, mission assurance, and safety might be major concerns.

The successful candidate will work with Product Owners, Chief Engineers, Management and other IPT members using Lean and/or Agile practices to ensure that embedded software is designed and developed to reliably operate toward the intended functions.

This position is within the Effectors Center of the Software organization, and is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

• Architecting, designing, implementing, testing, and debugging integrated embedded real-time software within heterogenous systems composed of firmware and hardware.
• Working within a cross-discipline team to define, refine, and improve product concept, implementation, testability, and guaranteed, measurable quality.
• Teaching, coaching, and mentoring less experienced staff.
• Contributing to proposals as well as preliminary and critical design reviews.
• Ability to obtain program access.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience using lab instruments like power-supplies, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.

What You Will Do

The Digital Design Engineer II is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications. The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including:

Role Summary

The Commissioning Manager leads the planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning activities for mission-critical data center systems. This role drives readiness, sequence, documentation, and issue closure from late construction through startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing (IST), and turnover to Operations.

You’ll partner closely with the owner/client team, GC, trade partners, vendors, and the Commissioning Agent (CxA) to ensure systems are installed correctly, started safely, tested thoroughly, documented completely, and turned over in a predictable, operations-ready manner.

• Ground-up hyperscale and enterprise data center builds
• Brownfield upgrades and retrofits in operating facilities
• Campus expansions and phased turnovers
• Fit-outs and accelerated customer deployment work

Key Responsibilities

Commissioning Planning & Execution (Primary)

• Build and manage the commissioning execution plan aligned to the master schedule and turnover strategy.
• Lead readiness planning for startup, functional testing, and IST, ensuring prerequisites and sequence are understood and met.
• Coordinate vendor participation (UPS, switchgear, generators, BAS/BMS, chillers, CRAHs, etc.) and manage field execution windows.

Readiness, Prerequisites & Constraint Removal (Primary)

• Maintain and drive closure of readiness checklists: construction completion, labeling, point-to-point, LOTO boundaries, access, housekeeping, temporary conditions, and documentation.
• Track constraints daily/weekly; escalate blockers early with clear impacts and recovery options.

Testing, Documentation & Issue Management (Primary)

• Own the commissioning issue/deficiency process: log, triage, assign, verify fixes, and close out.
• Ensure test documentation is complete and organized (prefunctional checklists, functional tests, trend logs, IR scans where applicable, TAB reports, flushing/cleanliness records, etc.).
• Support the CxA in maintaining testing standards, witness plans, and results traceability.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management (Primary)

• Facilitate commissioning-focused meetings and coordinate across CSA/MEP teams to protect testing windows.
• Communicate clearly with the owner/client team and GC leadership on progress, risks, and weekly priorities.

Turnover to Operations (Primary)

• Coordinate turnover packages by system/area/phase: as-builts, O&Ms, training plans, warranties, spares, and final acceptance documentation.
• Drive punch and closeout closure to meet “ops-ready” standards—not just “construction complete.”

Safety & Controls (Supporting/Primary as Needed)

• Enforce safe testing practices including LOTO planning, energization coordination, and access controls during commissioning activities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of mission-critical MEP systems and the commissioning flow (prefunctional → functional → IST → turnover).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams under schedule pressure with high documentation rigor.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ownership of issue closure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with field technology and documentation platforms (Procore/ACC, Bluebeam, MS Office; commissioning tools a plus).
• Working understanding of CPM logic, milestone management, and short-interval planning.

Experience & Education (Typical)

• 7+ years of mission-critical construction/MEP leadership, commissioning leadership, or similar (data center experience strongly preferred).
• OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• NFPA 70E awareness/training is a strong plus for energization environments.

What You Will Do:

• Utilizing strong mechanical hardware design experience and knowledge with ruggedized structures, interconnects, cooling, and electronics integration

The Precision Control Actuation System department is seeking a mechanical design engineer to join the Harness and Interconnect organization to support the development, build, and verification of harnessing systems. The PCAS organization staffs engineers for a variety of roles supporting primarily tactical missile Integrated Product Teams. 

What You Will Do

• At this grade level, you will be expected to work autonomously, have expert or mastery level knowledge of the harness and interconnect domain, exercise strategic vision to influence functional and organizational strategies of the PCAS organization beyond assigned program work, and coach and review the work of other professionals.​

• Support may include but is not limited to detailed mechanical design, test design and execution, systems engineering, proposals and estimates, or earned value management. 

• You will be expected to flex responsibilities based on the current needs of the organization and their respective skill sets.​

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience with engineering of complex systems of devices and interconnects. ​

• Experience with development of harnessing requirements, system architecture, requirements risk, requirements verification and validation, system performance & function, safety and environmental compliance​

• Experience working with a wide variety of industry / military standards and specifications​

• Experience generating first order electrical analysis including, but not limited to, DC resistance and voltage drop​

• Experience deriving applicable technical requirements from higher level specifications​

• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5​

• Proven ability to deconstruct higher level tasks into discrete lower-level work packages and tasks​

• Proven ability to take ownership of complex harnessing systems and coordinating completion of technical data packages with peers​

• Experience developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems related to the entire product lifecycle including proposal, design, manufacture, integration and test​

• Developing subject matter expertise round wire, rf, and/or rigid-flex harnesses

• Experience with harness design with mixed signals including knowledge of differential signals and shielding for EMI/RFI and crosstalk concerns. 

• Moderate 3D modeling skills with a prominent commercial software package​

• Experience with Pro/Engineer/CREO 3D modeling and mechanical drawing generation​

• Experience with Creo Schematic, Mentor Capital, or other electrical system documentation software​

• Experience with flex and rigid flex design including familiarity with ECAD software, PCB design, signal integrity, copper weight calculations, adhesives, dielectrics, coverlays, stiffeners and thermal management. The ability to problem-solve tight space and dynamic movement constraints is a bonus.

• Proven design and manufacturing knowledge in machined parts, injection molded parts, wire harnesses/flex harnesses and related components​

DEFINITION: Under general supervision, performs a variety of specialized and responsible work in the administration, processing, and distribution of the City's payroll. Provides technical staff assistance to departments and city staff.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: Receives general supervision from upper level management staff. Provides functional and technical supervision over assigned payroll staff.
Position Snapshot/A Day in the Life: The Payroll Coordinator is part of the Finance Division and under the supervision of Payroll Supervisor, the incumbent will process bi-weekly payroll cycles, ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, audit payroll data for accuracy, and help resolve discrepancies. The position works closely with Human Resources and Finance staff to assist with benefits deductions, support audit preparation, and response to employee inquiries, while also serving as a backup to the Payroll Supervisor when needed.

Essential Functions

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The incumbent must have the ability to:

• Coordinate and participate in the preparation and distribution of payroll.
• Understand, interpret and apply the fundamental principles of payroll accounting.
• Provide supervision, performance evaluation and training to assigned staff.
• Review time sheets submitted by all departments to ensure conformance with appropriate bargaining unit contracts and administrative policies and regulations.
• Maintain payroll records regarding salary changes, retirement, employment tax withholding, fringe benefits, voluntary deductions and leave balances; input personnel information and time sheet data.
• Review and edit documents, correct errors and balance payroll for each pay period.
• Prepare quarterly and annual federal and state tax reports; prepare and distribute W-2's.
• Compile and distribute all required reports related to payroll activity.
• Maintain and audit personal leave program records for all employees; distribute balance reports to all departments each pay period.
• Plan and initiate payroll programming changes.
• Perform other accounting tasks assigned, such as preparation of journal entries relating to payroll and reconciliation on a computerized system.
• Participate in special studies and projects as required.
• Analyze and implement new laws and regulations.
• Learn and apply personnel policies and procedures.
• Operate computer equipment and related software in the preparation and distribution of payroll.
• Analyze fiscal data and draw logical conclusions.
• Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Perform any other tasks or functions deemed necessary to the daily operations of the employer.
