ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer Supply Chain Management. Duties include:

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Project Support: Will support Project Managers and other engineers in project activities including, but not limited to the following:
  • Purchase of equipment, including preparation of bid packages, acquisition of quotations and bids, preparation of purchase order documents, tracking orders and processing the invoices.
  • Project accounting. Will maintain the accounting records for multiples projects and prepare reports as needed. Will interface with the accounting department.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of project schedules, Gantt charts, and departmental calendars.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects under direction of project managers.
  • Assist in the development of project cost estimates.
  • Engineering Departmental Support: Will support activities and projects to maintain efficient operation and continued improvement of the engineering department. These include, but not limited to the following:
  • Evaluation of software packages for process, safety, document control or project management.
  • Document management for the department.
  • Preparation of technical white papers or other documents.
  • Work with management, engineers, and customers to develop new standards for production.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery capabilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Contract Negotiation: Work with Purchasing to negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best prices and terms for the organization.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing strategies. This helps in making informed procurement decisions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured goods and services meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with Project Coordinators set and maintain budget line items, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with approved budgets.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with others in the Projects Group.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize analytics to assess spending patterns, identify savings opportunities, and optimize procurement processes.
  • Compliance and Policy Enforcement: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and relevant laws.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with preference to chemical, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Work Experience:
  • 1-3 years Project or process engineering experience.
  • Management of small projects 4-6 years.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Stainless steel fabrication estimating experience desired.

Position Summary


The Associate Director of QMS and Vendor Management Quality, under the direction of the Head of Clinical and non-CMC Quality, will be responsible for effectively supporting GXP compliance; developing, implementing, and continuously improving our Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing the vendor management program, and GxP IT compliance.


This role ensures adherence to the global regulations across clinical, nonclinical, and CMC activities and oversees the company's QMS, vendor management, and GxP computerized systems. This will include, but not be limited to:


  • Procedures development, review and approval
  • Management and review of quality documentation, quality events/deviations and issue resolution, CAPAs and investigations

Qualifications Required:


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of GxP QA experience.
  • 3+ years of vendor management and audit experience.
  • Experience with computerized systems validation.
  • Knowledge of FDA, EMA, MHRA, TGA, ICH, and 21 CFR Part 11.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Strategic Growth:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to launch and scale the CM division.
  • Leverage an extensive personal network of developers, architects, capital partners, and property owners to identify and source new project opportunities.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to client presentations and contract negotiation.
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Establish the Metrix brand within the construction management sector through networking, industry events, and thought leadership.

2. Divisional Leadership & Operations:

  • Build the operational framework for the CM division, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), best practices, and quality control protocols.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor a team of Project Managers and support staff.
  • Provide executive oversight for all managed projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence across the division.

3. Executive & Financial Management:

  • Serve as a vital member of the company's executive team, contributing to overall corporate strategy and direction.
  • Develop and manage the division's annual budget, P&L, revenue forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide regular, transparent reporting on pipeline, project performance, and divisional financials to the CEO.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry, at a construction management, general contracting, or development firm.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
  • Business Development: Demonstrable and verifiable track record of securing commercial construction management contracts through thoughtful sales planning, deep industry relationships, and a passion for winning.
  • Network: An extensive and active professional network within the commercial real estate development and construction industry in the Colorado Front Range region is essential.
  • Leadership: An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in both strategic and hands-on capacities.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of project financials, P&L management, and contract negotiation.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications are a strong plus.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Portfolio Management – oversee all property operations for an assigned portfolio to maximize NOI and asset value.
  • Direct and monitor all building staff, engineers, maintenance technicians, security officers, janitorial persons, construction providers, subcontractors or other personnel and service providers on site.
  • Mentor, coach, and train your team for success. Present a positive, helpful attitude when interacting with co-workers and customers.
  • Provide clear direction and distribute workload appropriately among staff, subcontractors, and vendor providers.

  • Review and approval for financial operations for the property including coding bills, oversee accounts payable and receivable, tenant rent collection and maximize operating efficiency and financial performance of the property.
  • Review and interpret commercial lease agreements to ensure operational compliance and financial accuracy. Collaborate with the legal department where necessary.


ADVANCED FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepare and submit monthly financial statements, leasing and operational reports, annual budget, and property condition reports.
  • Provide a 5-year capital plan for the property for all items that will require repair or replacement outside of normal day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee rent collection, manage delinquencies, and implement legal remedies when necessary.
  • Obtain, review, and negotiate scope of work descriptions, service agreements, and business contracts to provide quality-control, and oversight while implementing cost-containment initiatives, measures of compliance and contract standards.
