RN - Emergency Services at Providence Milwaukie Hospital is 0.9 FTE full time position working during weekdays and weekends on a night shift.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $8,000. Eligible external hires must meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The Opportunity

Lion Forge Entertainment (LFE) is a scaling entertainment studio and IP platform company focused on building enduring franchises across film, television, animation, digital media, consumer products, and emerging formats.  LFE is a portfolio company of Polarity, an entertainment holding company, and Harbourview Equity Partners. As the Company enters its next phase of growth, it seeks an EVP, Head of Operations, to oversee operations and support amplified production and development, diversified revenue streams, and disciplined capital deployment.


Role Overview

The EVP will enhance and lead the Company’s enterprise infrastructure during a period of accelerated expansion. This includes implementing scalable systems, strengthening talent and organizational architecture, instilling financial discipline, and driving cross-functional alignment across development, production, distribution, licensing, and related business lines.  As LFE is a lean team, this role requires someone who can both negotiate sophisticated entertainment deals and manage day–to–day operational execution.

Job Summary

Perform all Care and Custody functions associated with a detention facility, to include; transporting inmates to court and regional jail facilities, assist officers in the field with prisoner transports, provide security to the Kirkland Municipal Court, conduct fingerprinting as needed and assist the Kirkland Municipal Court with probation adherence. Corrections officers are specially commissioned by the Chief of Police and are required to comply with all agency policies and able to qualify and maintain the ability to carry department issued firearms in the course of performing their job functions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English and have excellent inter-personal skills. Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's License. Must possess sufficient strength and physical capacity to perform essential job functions, including application of physical restraint techniques, participation in defensive tactics training, and other required physical activity. Applicant history must be free of adult Felony arrests. Other history will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All applicants must successfully pass the Physical Fitness and Abilities Test and have a corrected vision of at least 20/20.

All lateral applicants must possess a valid Corrections certification from the Washington Basic Academy or other acceptable and qualified academy certified by the Washington State Law Enforcement Training Commission.

Preferred Qualifications
Twelve or more months of post Corrections academy experience is preferred.

Hours of Work
Must be available to work rotating shifts. Corrections staff currently work a combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts.

Working Conditions & Physical Activities

Corrections Officers schedule consists of varied shifts to include days, swings, or graveyards. Work is performed in and around the City of Kirkland Jail, City vehicles, regional facilities, training scenarios, various courts, and the greater Puget Sound community. The employee will be required to wear a uniform, carry weapons and tools associated with the job function, and maintain the ability to testify with credibility during legal proceedings.

Selection Process

What will I be doing?

To maintain Hilton's standards of quality it is the purpose of this position to oversee the laundry room, including training staff as needed.

  • Fills in position in Laundry when needed (due to absences, breaks, etc.), Trains staff in safe operation of equipment and the use of proper processing methods.

  • Ensure quality linen is being produced and separate old and damaged linen while processing.

  • Instruct and inform laundry staff of schedule and equipment to be used.

  • Monitor par levels and advise laundry manager when reordering is needed.

  • Monitor stain percentage, damaged linen and production reports. Schedule re-wash cycles of stained linen and schedule repairs of damaged linen as needed.

  • Supervise and record hourly production of pieces per operator hour.
