POSITION SUMMARY: Controls Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining equipment used to monitor and control systems, equipment and processes. They work in various industries including building management systems, power system automation and protection systems. - Serve as the primary briefer for CDS requests, tickets, ad-hoc meetings, and annual reviews at CDTAB, DSAWG, Information Domain, and IRSMC boards.

Overview:
The EH&S Technician will provide on‑site Environmental Health & Safety field support at our Chemical facility in Plaquemine, Louisiana. This role focuses primarily on worker safety, OSHA compliance, and EPA compliance through active field engagement.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Provide 80% EH&S field coverage focused on:
- Worker safety monitoring
- OSHA compliance support
- EPA compliance support
Conduct field observations and engage with workers to promote safe work practices. Communicate safety expectations clearly and effectively to site personnel Partner with EH&S peers to ensure consistent safety coverage across designated areas. Support site safety initiatives as directed by EH&S leadership. Escalate concerns or findings appropriately to EH&S management
Must‑Have Skills & Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the development, design, and execution of multiple projects simultaneously.

- Oversee project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage resources to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Responsible and accountable for projects including design of industrial controls systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and motor drives.

Requirements
- 10+ years’ expertise in industrial control systems, PLC/PAC programming, HMIs, VFDs, and SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD or equivalent engineering software.
- A self-starter possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working around energized power distribution equipment and related control systems.
- Requires travel to job sites including overnight stays to provide on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, customer support and training.

Controls & Systems Analyst to support both our industrial automation projects. This role blends hands-on engineering—such as site surveys, control panel design, and automation support—with internal software development, troubleshooting, and system enhancements. If you enjoy solving technical problems, working across teams, and balancing customer-facing and internal project work, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct site surveys and collaborate with customers and project teams to define technical requirements.
- Review bid specs, drawings, and documentation to support accurate project quoting.
- Design industrial control panels, including layouts, wiring diagrams, and hardware selection.
- Support internal business systems through analysis, coding, testing, and maintenance of applications.
- Coordinate resources and timelines for larger system projects.
- Troubleshoot user issues, provide technical guidance, and support system improvements.
- Maintain high-quality documentation for both automation and software projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, and customer teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
