Responsibilities
As an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT), you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair and test complex electronic systems related to aviation on tactical jets, fixed wing aircraft or rotary winged helicopter systems. In this role, you can expect to work with systems including digital computers, fiber optics, infrared detection, radar, laser electronics, navigation, pressure indication, and electrical power generation and distribution. Additional responsibilities may include:
- Installing modifications to aircraft electronic systems
- Performing micro-miniature module repair on computer circuit cards
- Performing electrical diagnostics

Work Environment

Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes(known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training, including:

Part-Time Opportunities
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Aviation Electronics Technicians in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, you may serve anywhere in the world, including locations in the U.S., at bases overseas, or in areas where humanitarian needs are great.

Our exciting Space client are in need of a Senior Staff Power Electronics Engineer to Design custom mid-high power (>2kW desired) supply design for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) to be used on Spacecraft / Propulsion Systems.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- The Senior Staff Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for performing design, analysis, and research tasks as they relate to electronics used for avionics, power distribution, power storage and power controllers for microsatellites and Propulsion power processing units (PPU).
- Responsible for medium to large sized projects or components and will be expected to work within the electrical engineering team to solve complex problems and support and mentor more junior engineers in their tasks as they relate to electrical circuit design.
- Develop electronic hardware, including part selection, schematic capture, layout, and fabrication data for circuit board designs Support fabrication, test and debugging of hardware.

This role leads complex electronics and embedded systems projects from concept through manufacturing transfer, ensuring on-time delivery, quality excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-complexity NPD/NPI projects on scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Serve as the primary customer interface, managing expectations and aligning deliverables with strategic goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to define scope, schedules, cost estimates, and resources.
- Plan and manage all project phases, from design and verification to validation and manufacturing transfer.
- Maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and status reports for stakeholders.
- Track milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Manage scope changes with PMO leadership and account managers.
- Drive continuous improvement by developing PMO processes, templates, and tools.

Requirements
- 5–10 years managing complex technical projects in electronics product development, engineering services, or manufacturing.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver large-scale, technically complex projects.
- Technical expertise in electronics, embedded systems, and manufacturing/NPI principles (DFM/DFT, verification/validation, production transfer).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (FDA, ISO 13485) and experience applying them in project execution.
- Proficiency with project planning, scheduling, and resource management tools (Microsoft Project preferred).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to cost, schedule, and quality.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
- Experience in regulated industries preferred (medical devices, automotive, defense).

- PMP or equivalent certification.

An Electronics Lab Assembly/Solder Technician is responsible for assembling, cabling, and validating complex testing rack test systems. This includes building and repairing cables and connector assemblies as a critical part of the role. Additional responsibilities include assembling and configuring rack-mounted devices, troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues, and performing functional validations to ensure assembly quality and performance. Additional activities may include basic soldering, fabricating test boxes, or supporting other hardware integration tasks.
The candidate may provide on-the-job recommendations to solve hardware integration issues with mid and upper-level Engineering and Leadership. The candidate will comply with the company’s FOD program, tool control program, and all safety regulations.
Work primarily includes cabling and assembly of Rack-mounted Test Systems but may also include working with Engineering prototyping.
This position is 100% onsite in Huntsville, Alabama
What you will do
- Assemble and configure rack-mounted devices, troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues, and performing functional validations to ensure assembly quality and performance.
- Perform other activities such as basic soldering, building or repairing cables and connector assemblies, or fabricating test boxes.
- Perform pin crimping, wire routing, and use hand and powered tools.
- Test and troubleshoot systems using multimeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Provide on the job recommendations to solve hardware integration issues with mid and upper-level Engineering and Leadership.
- Perform physical tasks such as retrieving, storing, and installing equipment.
- Work from detailed assembly drawings, schematics, or work instructions.
- Work from verbal instructions and conceptual ideas to a achieve a desired output.
- Recognizing failures and isolating problems and suggesting appropriate corrective action.
- Keeping management appraised of all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect schedules or quality.
- Manage inventory, paperwork, and maintain organizational standards.
Qualifications You Must Have
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and A minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Assemble and configure rack-mounted test systems, cables, and harnesses
- Verification/Inspection experience with associated standards, processes, and documentation.
Qualifications Preferred
- Work experience with mechanical and soldering standards, processes, and documentation.
- Experience working within an Engineering Technical Support Environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos, schematics, detailed electronic blueprints, and other similar authorized drawings and documents.
- CCA manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of Fabrication Standards, Processes, and Documentation.
- IPC J-STD-001 solder certification and IPC 610 and IPC 620 certifications
- Associates Degree in a Technical field.
