The Opportunity
We are seeking a credentialed actuary to join our Property Loss Reserving and Reserving Development team. This Actuary will leverage advanced knowledge of Loss Reserving techniques and Claims Analytics insights to explain drivers of loss trends.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position is based in San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
What you'll do:
- Applies advanced actuarial knowledge to complete broad and complex projects (e.g., evaluates and selects methodology to price new discount/endorsement for countrywide rollout; develops alternative methodologies to comply with complex regulatory requirements; selects metrics and designs processes to monitor model performance; translates business problems into technical requirements and performs required analysis to develop solutions; independently runs catastrophe models and interprets and communicates results to support critical business activities, while enhancing the control environment as needed.

- Leads special actuarial projects, such as the development of new methodologies or reporting tools.

What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related Actuarial/business/analytical experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 4 years of Actuarial or analytical business experience.
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) Credential.
- Demonstrated advanced skills with relevant actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques and approaches used to support fact-based decision-making.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries and procedures in Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software, and relevant industry data & methods and ability to connect external insights to business problems.
- Demonstrated experience communicating complex solutions and analysis to both technical and nontechnical audiences, including executive leadership.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $127,310 - $229,160.

About the Team
The primary responsibility of the Logistics Modeling team is to intelligently and efficiently plan how CarMax moves vehicles across its nationwide network. Each year, CarMax completes over 2 million vehicle moves, and our data scientists develop algorithms that determine which moves are executed by CarMax and which are handled by third-party logistics partners. For the moves CarMax completes, the team generates detailed plans specifying exactly which vehicles each driver will transport and when. We're looking for a Senior Account Executive (Business to Business) to join our Commercial Sales team! In this role you will be a solution seller by identifying opportunities to leverage TDS' full complement of solutions and technology offerings which encompass, hosted and premise-based VoIP solutions, managed services, and web security. You are a business-to-business sales professional and accountable for developing new business opportunities by cold calling and prospecting (door to door). ● Drive quality assurance strategy, planning, and execution across our technology ecosystem, using AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency, coverage, and release confidence.
● Lead QA efforts with support of third-party development partners, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.

Professional Qualifications
● Excellent knowledge of IT systems

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Consulting Lead to drive our joint go-to-market efforts across these two distinct partner ecosystems.
This role is pivotal in identifying, developing, and closing WPP billable opportunities within both Kyndryl's and Gradial's client bases, existing WPP accounts, as well as through new joint pursuits.This is a quota-carrying sales role with a strong consulting component, responsible for translating complex client needs into integrated WPP-Kyndryl and WPP-Gradial solutions.

About the Role:

As a Data Scientist on/in the US Businesses PruAdvisors Data Science Team you will partner with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, Business Leaders and other professionals to build GenAI and ML models to improve advisor experience, perform lead scoring, and increase sales revenue. You will implement AI and machine learning models that will deliver stability, scalability and integration with other advisor products and services. Responsibilities:
- Provide deep technical leadership to a portfolio of high impact data science initiatives involving sales and advisor experience. Identify the optimal sets of data, models, training, and testing techniques required for successful product delivery. Remove complex technical impediments
- Leverage your experience and skills to identify new opportunities where data science and AI can improve experiences, gain efficiencies, and generate sales.
- Manage team members in AI/ML and model development, testing, training, and tuning. Apply hands-on experience to ensuring best-in-class model development. Mentor team members in technical skill development and product ownership.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, in writing and verbally, all facets of model design and development. Continuously look for insights in models developed and generate new ideas for model improvement.
- Manage external vendors in the execution of parts of the data science development process as needed.
- Leverage continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices, including test automation and monitoring, to ensure successful deployment of ML models and application code on Prudential's AI/ML platform.
- Bring a deep understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, give technical direction to team members and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day.
- Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and may impact future concepts, products or technologies.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, AWS, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with LLMs, deployment of LLMs, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, and Agentic AI concepts.
The Skills and expertise you bring:
- Applied Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering or experience in related fields with a focus on machine learning, AI, and LLMs.
- Junior category industry experience with responsibility for developing and delivering advanced quantitative, AI/ML, analytical and statistical solutions.
- Ability to lead a small team with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization to deliver AI products.

- Machine Learning and AI: Understanding of machine learning theory, including the mathematics underlying machine learning algorithms. Expertise in the application of machine learning theory to building, training, testing, interpreting and monitoring machine learning models. Expertise in traditional machine learning models (unsupervised, XGBoost, etc.) and Large Language Models (OpenAI, Claude).
- Model Deployment: Understanding of model development life cycle, CI/CD/CT pipelines (using tools like Jenkins, CloudBees, Harness, etc.), A/B testing, and pipeline frameworks such as AWS SageMaker, and newer AWS/Azure Agentic AI infrastructure products.
- Data Acquisition and Transformation: Acquiring data from disparate data sources using APIs and SQL. Transform data using SQL and Python. Visualizing data using a diverse tool set including but not limited to Python.
- Database Management Systems: Knowledge of how databases are structured and function in order use them efficiently. May include multiple data environments, cloud/AWS, primary and foreign key relationships, table design, database schemas, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teamwork
Oversees and manages MMA resources in the delivery of benchmark service to clients. Generally, this position is a very experienced individual contributor who manages 4-5 very complex accounts. This position is matrixed to a specific Producer or Producers under whose auspices the Sr. Account Consultant is fully responsible and accountable for the total management of specific clients and/or is the primary resource to specific account managers on other. Act as Leader of Account Management Teams to specifically:
- Coach, mentor and train Sr. Account Executives, Account Executives, Account Managers and other team members as requested by the Vice President of Client Services, Region Benefits Practice Leader, sponsoring Producer/Partner, location Head of Office, or as appropriate to the needs of the Account Executive Team and/or client.
- Partnering with the Region Client Services Management team, will play an active role in the supervision and management of the support team, including participation in the employee review process.
- Successful performance will be in part evaluated on the growth and development of supporting staff.
Customer Service
- Responsible for all strategies and actions leading to overall customer satisfaction and ongoing client retention.
- Oversee and manage and execute the delivery of client calendar/timeline milestones, typically with matrixed support by Account Management Team members.
- Regular meetings and other communication with appropriate client contacts to assess, maintain, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage the quality of service delivered to the client by MMA team members and carriers/vendors.
- Monitor, manage, and facilitate the resolution by carriers/TPAs/vendors and MMA team members of escalated service issues.
- Participate in and contribute to the RFP process and finalist presentations in order to win new business and retain existing clients.
- Ensure adherence to and completion of Agency workflow/timeline checklists that set minimum service requirements for MMA clients.
- Consult with clients and make strategic plan design recommendations based on valid client data and information. Plan design recommendations that align with clients’ business strategy, culture, and priorities and should focus on trend management.
- Maintain knowledge and command of carrier/vendor products and services and effectively deliver appropriate carrier/TPA recommendations and product and service solutions to clients.
- Maintain knowledge and command of MMS services, resources and capabilities, and leverage them appropriately on behalf of clients.
- Consult with clients and deliver appropriate funding arrangement recommendations based on client priorities and needs. Includes recommendations on stop loss providers, contracts and financial elements for self-funded clients.
- Presentation of financial/risk management reports providing data and information pertinent to risk management, plan design recommendations, products/services recommendations, renewal projections/planning, budget planning, etc.
- Mastery level knowledge and command of iCAF capabilities and services and Milliman capabilities and services.
- Developing, maintaining and expanding business relationships with key client decision makers and senior leaders, often C-suite level.
- Developing, maintaining and expanding relationships with key HR/Benefits team members.
Technical Expertise
- Regularly present and review plan performance reports and renewal projections.
- Mastery level knowledge and command of all EB capabilities and services.
- Conduct pre-renewal planning meetings.
- Consult with clients and make recommendations for renewal strategies.
- Works with the Account Executive to manage renewal bid/RFP strategy and process (Workflow Timeline compliance is the Account Executive’s responsibility).
- Deliver renewal presentations.
- Manage ongoing carrier/TPA/Vendor renewal negotiations on clients’ behalf.
- Deliver final renewal recommendations to clients.
- Make recommendations for additional products/services and for expanding broker/consultant services.
- Manage and monitor revenue levels on all clients and work with Producers to develop strategies and actions for negotiation of commissions/fees.
- Work with Account Executive &/or may work with clients to complete renewals and transition into installation/implementation process.
- Monitor, manage and lead the Account Team as they manage/coordinate the implementation, installation and enrollment process and activities.
- Monitor and manage carrier/TPA/vendor implementation, installation, and enrollment activities.
Marketing
- Participate in MMA marketing activities and events.
- Represent MMA at conferences, meetings, councils, community events.
- Participate in and contribute to RFP process and presentations in order to win new business and retain existing clients.
- Maintain Texas Life, Health & Accident License and other necessary licenses.
- Complete continuing education requirements.
- Maintain market competitive knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of carriers/TPAs/vendors strengths, weaknesses, products and services.
- Maintain and effectively leverage relationships with carrier/TPA/vendor representatives and managers.
- Maintain and effectively leverage knowledge of provider networks.
- Manage and monitor revenue generated by each account and work with Producers to negotiate appropriate agency revenue levels for each individual client.
General

- Process mail, email, and phone requests on a daily basis.

- Ensure that items are delivered or mailed to clients on a timely basis.
- Maintain files and records in an orderly, timely manner and in accordance with agency policy and processes, including effective use of Electronic Documentation System.

REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- 5+ years of Account Consultant or Executive experience, ideally with an agency, and in account management, account executive, and/or sales roles. Benefits experience with a carrier or employer may also be considered.
- Mastery level knowledge of benefits products, services, market dynamics, carriers/TPAs/vendors, fully insured and alternative funding arrangements.
- Proven track record of success in client management, account management, executive level relationship building, negotiations, sales/marketing, renewals, financial reporting & analysis, client consultations, presentations, revenue management.
- Ability to fully manage, renew and retain clients without Producer/Partner involvement.
