SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our growing global team.

JOB DUTIES, & RESPONSIBILITES: As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will lead several critical global finance functions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic financial management across the organization.

Key responsibilities include: Global Tax Compliance & Transfer Pricing (50%) Oversee all aspects of U.S.

and international tax compliance and reporting in partnership with the location Controllers and third-party accounting firms globally.

This includes managing transfer pricing documentation, participating in global tax planning, monitoring legislative developments, and collaborating with advisors and internal teams to optimize tax strategies and mitigate risks.

Global Audits, Statutory & Financial Reporting (30%) Manage external audits, statutory reporting, and U.S.

GAAP financial reporting processes in partnership with the location Controllers and third-party accounting firms globally.

Global Risk Management (10%) Direct the annual renewal of insurance policies and overall risk management strategy in partnership with the third party advisors/bokers.

Collaborate with brokers and internal stakeholders to evaluate coverage, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effective protection aligned with business needs.

Global Treasury Management (10%) Oversee global cash flow, liquidity, and foreign exchange management.

Maintain and develop banking relationships, ensure proper funding of global operations, manage intercompany financing, and lead treasury reporting and strategy development.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: CPA designation; Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Tax a plus) 3+ years of international tax experience, including compliance and transfer pricing 2+ years in financial reporting and audit, with strong knowledge of U.S.

GAAP and IFRS Experience with ASC 740 and multinational tax provisions Familiarity with business insurance and global cash/treasury management Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience working with multinational organizations Plus: β€’ MAcc or MBA.

Experience with NetSuite or other financial systems Background in global banking, insurance negotiations, and international tax laws POSITION TYPE/REQUIRED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time position.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m.

Occasional travel is required for this position.

This position requires the employee to work on-site at the facility on the two designated in office days per week.

Investor Support: Work collaboratively with owners and institutions to support investor reporting packages and communications.

About the role

The Vice President, Controller is a key member of the finance leadership team responsible for overseeing the company’s global accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining the effectiveness of the internal control environment.


This role ensures the integrity of financial information, compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements, and supports strategic decision‑making. The VP, Controller is instrumental in driving operational excellence, automation, and scalability within the finance function.


What you’ll do

  • Lead the accounting function, including general ledger, revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets and consolidations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial close processes and reporting.
  • Support the preparation of internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP, DK GAAP and SEC regulations, as applicable.
  • Support a strong internal control environment by maintaining and enhancing internal control over financial reporting (ICOFR) over general ledger activities.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights that support strategic business decisions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and manage related inquiries and deliverables.
  • Assist in the development of technical accounting guidance and in the implementation of new standards.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing accounting team; promote continuous learning, cross‑training and career development.
  • Evaluate and implement systems and process improvements to streamline operations, enhance reporting capabilities and promote efficient cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, and business unit leaders to ensure alignment and effective communication of financial data.
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration efforts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial leadership roles within the biopharma industry.
  • Public accounting experience (BigΒ 4 or large regional firm) combined with corporate accounting experience within a public biopharma company preferred.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP, DK GAAP (or IFRS), COSO internal control framework, and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics Business Central, Oracle NetSuite, or similar) and other report writer and/or FP&A software a plus.
  • Ability to lead change, manage complexity, and drive process improvements in a dynamic environment.
  • Monthly travel may be required (up to 20%).
