Amentum is seeking a 2nd shift Facility Painter in Peoria, Il! Typical work hours are 2nd Shift Mon-Fri 3:00 pm to 11:30pm; hours may vary based on business demand.

The Facility Painter will be tasked with various sized painting projects throughout the facility, including the pre-painting preparatory work.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Interior prepping and painting of office spaces, hallways, rest rooms, closets, meeting rooms, etc.
• May require some dry wall patching and mudding, and some wall papering or patching.
• Exterior painting includes, but not limited to doors, railings, bollards, walkways and striping.
• Includes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Three years of experience as a residential or commercial painter.
• Experience repairing drywall.
• Experience operating and working from various man-lifts and ladders.
• Experience hanging and patching wallpaper.
• Experience taping off trim.
• Experience at trimming out a room.
• Qualified applicants must pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for each type of respirator needed for the position or for an approved alternate respirator that provides equal or better protection from identified hazards.
• Must be meticulous and produce high quality work.

As a Service Pro, you are our elite! You are responsible for leading and managing the operations of the restaurant as a manager would. A service pro has mastered operations and takes on responsibility for training and development of new and current team members. We are looking for people with experience in training, can share positive vibes, is a good communicator, and provides top notch service. This role provides an opportunity to empower others be their best.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Create positive guest and team member experiences, creating a fun and energetic vibe

* Take guests' food orders and handle cash and credit transactions

* Follow Tokyo Joes operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift

* Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items

* Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment

* Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensures proper set up and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas

* Effectively handle guest concerns and complaints

* Train new employees on station tasks

* Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift

* Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Tokyo Joes

* Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

* Manage others through positive communication, teamwork and delegation to complete tasks

* Food, Team Member and Guest Safety

* Cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant and equipment

* Mastery of menu portion and allergens
