Clinical Practice

The Abdominal Imaging Radiologist will provide clinical service across Jefferson’s Center City and South Philadelphia campuses and affiliated outpatient imaging centers, supported by a robust and technologically advanced imaging infrastructure including:

  • 15 MRI scanners
  • 12 CT scanners
  • Approximately 36 ultrasound units
  • Additional imaging platforms across affiliated sites

Clinical responsibilities include:

  • Interpretation of body MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and radiography

  • Managing ventilation and airways by assisting with artificial airway placement, initiating and adjusting invasive and noninvasive ventilation, monitoring patient responses, and responding quickly to clinical changes or emergencies. 
  • Supporting patients and the care team by educating patients and families, serving as a clinical resource, partnering with physicians and nurses, and helping stabilize newborns during deliveries when needed. 
  • Maintaining equipment and safety by setting up, operating, and cleaning respiratory equipment; ensuring readiness and preventive maintenance; transporting ventilated patients safely; and following all infection-prevention standards. 
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking to hire an experienced Formulation Chemist / Technician to join the R&D Formulations team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a wide variety of haircare formulations incorporating our proprietary ingredients. Experience with personal care or cosmetics formulation is required.

This individual will:

  • Support the development of high-performance haircare formulations in accordance with project briefs and technical guidance
  • Perform formulation, testing, and documentation activities while ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones
  • Contribute to scale-up efforts by preparing samples, capturing process parameters, and supporting pilot-scale or manufacturing trials
  • Support formulation handoff to Product Development or external manufacturing partners through clear documentation and sample preparation.
  • Follow good laboratory practices while maintaining detailed and accurate records of samples, analyses, ingredients, and results, demonstrating traceability and repeatability through organized documentation and reporting.
  • Create and maintain product ingredient lists, formulation documents and final specifications for finished formulations.

  • Interface with external ingredient suppliers for sampling, ordering and maintaining technical records and inventory of raw materials.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are an experienced personal care formulator with at least 1-2 years of industry experience in a hands-on role in the personal care industry. Knowledge of surfactant and emulsion systems is a must.
  • B.S. or higher in cosmetic science or related fields is required.
  • You have a strong understanding of the beauty and wellness customer and a proven ability to translate consumer needs into novel products.
  • You have a solid working knowledge of industry ingredients and processing methodologies and formulation best practices.

Position Highlights

  • Full-time faculty appointment within the Jefferson Einstein Urology Residency Program (3 residents per year)
  • Active involvement in resident and medical student education, mentorship, and clinical research
  • Mix of clinic, procedural, and surgical care
  • Perform in-office procedures including cystoscopy, vasectomy, and urodynamics
  • Inpatient rounding responsibilities
  • Dedicated OR block time
  • Access to robotic surgery technology

Job Description Summary

A recognized leader in breast imaging for more than 50 years, Jefferson Einstein has been at the forefront of advanced mammography—helping pioneer Digital Breast Tomosynthesis, becoming one of the first institutions nationwide to fully transition to 100% digital breast imaging, and introducing Molecular Breast Imaging (MBI) to the region using the lowest radiation dose available.


We are seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join a collaborative, high-performing team of radiologists within an accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
