The Research Engineer II will support and lead semiconductor fabrication, advanced packaging, and heterogeneous integration activities within the IMS Cleanroom Facilities. This role involves hands-on process development, tool ownership, and research execution across TSV/TGV processing, electroplating, wafer thinning, planarization, CMP, and MEMS/sensor fabrication in a multi-user research environment.

Design and execute experimental studies, analyze process data, and establish stable, documented baselines to ensure reproducibility and reliability.

Train and support academic and industry users on cleanroom processes and equipment.

Position Functions:

Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee internal operations and provide leadership across estimating, project management, detailing coordination, and fabrication planning. This role will work closely with ownership and serve as a senior client-facing representative with general contractors and developers.

This is a key leadership role for an individual with strong experience in the structural steel or miscellaneous metals fabrication industry who can bring operational discipline, leadership, and strategic oversight to a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of daily operations including estimating, project management, detailing coordination, and fabrication planning
• Lead and mentor department managers and office staff
• Review major bids and estimates to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and risk management
• Monitor project pipeline, backlog, scheduling, and overall operational performance
• Work with project management teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
• Develop and improve operational systems, reporting, and internal processes
• Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients including general contractors and developers

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience within structural steel or miscellaneous metals fabrication

• Experience overseeing operations for companies with $20M+ annual revenue

We are currently seeking a motivated Fabric Operations Assistant to join our team! Supporting the Director of Textiles, you will work closely with Design and Production to facilitate fabric flow, R&D, and sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Supplier Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for mills; flag potential delays and ensure all target completion dates are met.
• Clearly communicate technical fabric questions to overseas factories to ensure standards are maintained.
• Request FDS sheets and collaborate with suppliers on pricing, minimums, width, and content; source local sub-proto yardage as needed.
• Assist in ordering sample yardage for market and manage the receipt and filing of all bulk/sample lots.

Development & Data Management

• Maintain precise, detailed records of all fabric developments from initial adoption through pre-production.
• Request FDS for all sampled qualities and maintain organized digital files in the corporate shared folders.
• Interface with Design and Production teams to ensure quality standards and fabric strategies align with brand goals.

Sample & Library Management

• Organize the physical fabric library (standards, prints, and color items) to ensure it is accessible for all teams.
• Cut and label swatches for Design boards; assist designers in pulling yardage for sample cutting.
• Create and maintain seasonal binders of all submits and keep 1/4 yard cutting references for house records.

Requirements

• Degree in Textiles, Supply Chain, Buying, or Merchandising preferred.
• Previous internship experience is highly preferred.
• Strong background in woven and knit construction/development.
• Working knowledge of MS Office & Excel is required; PLM and Photoshop knowledge is a plus.
• Proven ability to prioritize a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment with a natural "retention for facts" and systems.
• A strong brand aesthetic and understanding of the Anne Klein consumer.

Salary Range: $55K – $60K *Actual base salary will be based upon experience, qualifications, and/or assigned unit.

Product Quality Manager

Position Summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a seasoned Quality professional with significant experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for project-based engineered equipment. The ideal candidate will bring deep welding knowledge, strong familiarity with industry codes (AWS, ASME), and hands-on expertise supporting fabrication for pulp & paper, chemical, power, and related industrial applications. Welding experience is the #1 qualification for this position. Candidates must meet this requirement to proceed.

Top Priority Qualifications (Must-Have)

• Extensive welding experience supporting industrial fabrication and equipment manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of AWS Codes (especially AWS D1.1, D1.6) — required.
• Knowledge of metals including carbon steel, stainless, duplex, and alloy materials; welding of structural and pressure-part fabrication — required.
• Working knowledge of ASME Codes (especially ASME Section V, IX) — desired.
• CWI Certification and ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II in any NDE method — preferred.

Principal Duties

• Lead and manage all Quality Assurance activities for assigned engineered equipment projects.
• Develop Quality Monitoring Plans for large, multi-fabrication projects.
• Create and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for equipment and supplier deliverables.
• Audit, evaluate, and qualify global suppliers—including Asia and Europe.
• Provide technical support to engineering and project management regarding quality requirements.
• Communicate quality expectations across internal departments and with customers.
• Implement controls to ensure quality compliance across all equipment and components.
• Coordinate inspections of structural, mechanical, welded, and machined parts.
• Manage third-party inspectors and cross-division ANDRITZ inspection resources.
• Review supplier quality programs, documentation, NCRs, and provide stakeholder feedback.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective action processes, and supplier improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality or Project Management in pulp & paper, power, metals, chemical, or process industries, or within a large fabrication environment.
• Strong working knowledge of machining, surface preparation, and mechanical testing.
• Ability to perform dimensional inspections and verify compliance during multiple fabrication stages.
• Experience with supplier auditing — preferred.
• Experience with failure analysis and RCA — preferred.
• Knowledge of pulp & paper equipment — preferred.
• Ability to travel internationally (Asia and Europe).

Work Environment

This role requires daily cross-functional interaction with vendors, Sales, Engineering, Production, Quality Control, and Materials. Overnight travel by air or ground is required.
