About the Division of Cardiology and Tufts Medical Center:

  • The Division is part of the CardioVascular Center, an integrated Heart and Vascular Center with financial and strategic alignment across Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.
  • Has robust and growing interdisciplinary programs in cardiac arrhythmia, structural heart disease, valvular disease, and ischemic heart disease.
  • Performs approximately 1,000 cardiac surgical operations per year
  • Has one of the largest heart transplant programs in the country; in 2024, the Advanced HF program performed a record 70 heart transplants, the most of any center in New England.
  • Trains the next generation of cardiologists through an ACGME-accredited fellowship program

How you’ll transform patient care:  

  • You’ll join an outstanding team of cardiologists and imagers involved in complex in-patients and a wide array of out-patients
  • You’ll care for patients with both out-patient and in-patient clinical service time

Who you are:   

  • BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Substantial interest in general clinical cardiology and the high-quality care of out-patients
  • Level II or III training in echocardiography as well as current or anticipated Board Certification in Echocardiography
  • Substantial experience with transthoracic and transesophageal echo, stress echo, and techniques such as strain and 3D echocardiography
  • Interest and experience in academics highly desirable, with substantial opportunities for teaching and research

Compensation:

Tufts Medical Center offers a competitive salary commensurate with training and practice experience. A faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.
