Shared Imaging is currently looking to hire a PRN PET/CT Technologist in Elizabeth, Jersey City, Newark, Rahway, NJ.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, potential for Saturday coverage
• 8-hour days with a start time of 7am
• Site/s covering:
• Elizabeth, NJ - Trinitas Regional Medical Center (Part time available for every Monday)
• Jersey City, NJ - Jersey City Medical Center
• Newark, NJ - Beth Israel Medical Center

The ideal candidate must possess:

• ARRT with (N) and (CT) - OR - CNMT with (CT) or ARRT (CT) if holding a CNMT
• NJ State License
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Venipuncture Certification or ability to start IV's
• 2+ years industry experience
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task
• Understanding of Joint Commission
• Hard working, detail-oriented, technologist committed to outstanding patient care
• Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
• Team player with a positive attitude

The hourly range for this role is $63.00 - $65.00/hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. This position is also eligible for a performance-based merit increase annually. EM/HM PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT:

Job Summary:

The Emergency and Hospitalist Medicine Physician Assistant will deliver primary health care in the Emergency Department or Inpatient setting to include, but not limited to, the recognition and management of common illnesses and injuries, and the provisioning of care across the health care continuum with emphasis on early detection, treatment, and prevention of diseases,

Essential Functions:

• Obtains and records patient history
• Performs physical and medical screening examinations
• Completes diagnostic and therapeutic studies
• Orders diagnostic laboratory tests, radiological studies or other therapies as appropriate
• Establishes diagnostic decision-making and initiates a treatment plan, which may include ordering medications, additional therapeutic modalities, etc
• Coordinates patient care with other members of the health care team
• Initiates consultation requests to other health professionals to provide more comprehensive patient management
• Instructs and counsels patients regarding mental and physical health, referring patients to appropriate specialists/resources
• Completes charting in a thorough and timely manner
• Adequately manages patient flow in the Emergency Department or inpatient unit
• Performs procedures as allowed by state law and under the direction of the supervising or collaborating physician
• Works within legal, regulatory, and ethical practice standards
• Actively participates in Department staff meetings and risk management education
• Completes required courses, i,e,HIPAA, EMTALA and other CME /CEU requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Physician Assistant Certification
• Registration & Licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners/ Physician Assistant Advisory required
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support Certifications
• New Jersey CDS and DEA Licensure
• Active membership in a professional organization preferred
• Ability and willingness accommodate scheduling needs including working extended hours, weekdays, overnights, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge and Skills:

Job Overview: The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner NPDP is a registered professional nurse who has expertise in nursing professional development, education, and/or a specific area or areas of nursing practice. The NPDP employed in this position will be directly involved in the orientation and onboarding of newly licensed graduate nurses in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry division through an innovative and trademarked program called NOURISH Nursing Orientation Unit for RN Integration Support and Health. They will also support new-hire nurses in the designated areas.
