As our Project Superintendent, you’ll lead field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and with exceptional quality. Every day, we’ll count on you to oversee schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. You’ll work closely with the Project Manager to align resources, resolve challenges, and keep the project moving forward. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safety Leadership
- Enforce the company’s Safety & Health program and maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and City regulations.
- Proactively identify risks and lead initiatives to achieve a zero-incident jobsite.
Schedule Management
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Coordinate labor, materials, and subcontractors to meet deadlines using Critical Path Method (CPM) sequencing.
Quality Assurance
- Oversee quality control to ensure materials and workmanship meet or exceed project specifications.
- Promptly address non-compliant work and maintain proper documentation.
Team Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Facilitate subcontractor meetings, preconstruction planning sessions, and Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings to ensure alignment.
Resource and Cost Management
- Manage equipment, tools, and resources to meet project needs.
- Partner with the Project Manager to monitor budgets, control costs, and evaluate staffing requirements.
- Ensure timely maintenance and accurate inventory of tools and equipment.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain an organized and efficient job site that supports safety and schedule compliance.
- Implement process improvements to optimize timelines, enhance team performance, and deliver projects within budget.
Documentation and Reporting
- Use Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools (Phoenix Project Manager or MS Project) to track daily activities, document progress, and communicate updates.
- Ensure accurate payroll, budget tracking, and project cost reporting.
Project Closeout
- Lead the closeout process, including punch list completion and final documentation.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and company standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
- Experience overseeing full life cycle, commercial construction projects, with proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Residential experience will not be applicable for this role.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects ranging from $30-50M his desired
- K-12 construction experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, construction methods, and quality control practices.

The Role
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) owns and facilitates tasks as outlined by the Project Manager or Project Executive, within the projects assigned.
Assistant Project Managers provide support and communication for successful project completion. APM’s provide a focus on the day-to-day details of these projects, including relaying correspondence between field and office (both internally and externally), ordering equipment, and managing project documentation. The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).

ICMS is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to observe, document, and coordinate day-to-day airfield construction activities for an aviation project. This key field role is responsible for verifying strict compliance with project drawings, specifications, safety protocols, and contract provisions. You will work closely with the Project Manager/CM team, airport operations, and the contractor to maintain project schedule, quality, and safety on heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
Requirements
Responsible for coordination and monitoring of overall field construction administration activities and/or management engineering services on projects of a diverse nature in accordance with design specifications to assure that construction projects are completed in compliance with the drawings and specifications, within budget, and on schedule. We are partnering with a leading national infrastructure contractor to recruit a Construction Engineer – Drainage Focus. This is an excellent opportunity for an civil engineering professional to develop technical and field experience on major transportation and heavy civil projects across Texas.
You will play a key role in overseeing the design coordination and construction of critical drainage and stormwater systems, supporting safe and resilient infrastructure that serves growing communities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee construction and installation of drainage systems including storm sewers, culverts, detention basins, channels, and erosion control structures
- Review and support development of design drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs related to drainage scope
- Conduct field inspections to ensure installation aligns with design intent and regulatory requirements
- Apply hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater management principles to resolve field challenges
- Monitor grading operations, slope stabilization, and erosion/sediment control measures
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies
- Support scheduling, materials management, quality control, and subcontractor coordination
- Track quantities, costs, and progress of drainage-related work
- Prepare daily reports, documentation, and compliance records
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of construction drawings, contract documents, and technical specifications, with the ability to interpret and apply them in the field
- A minimum of 2 years involvement on infrastructure or civil construction projects, particularly those including water management or underground utilities
- Degree-qualified in an engineering or construction-related discipline (Civil Engineering preferred)
- Highly organised, proactive, and confident communicating with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Comfortable using digital reporting tools and standard office software for documentation and project coordination
- Consistent track record of promoting safe working practices and delivering work to defined quality standards
