Salary and Benefits:

Salary for newly appointed law enforcement Border Patrol Agents varies from:

Base Salary: GL-9/GS-11, $63,148 - $120,145 per year

Locality Pay: Varies by duty location.

Overtime Pay: Up to 25%

Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others. A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression from GL-9 to GS-11 to GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in the lower grade level.

All Border Patrol Agents may select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health and insurance plans, a generous annual and sick leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, a retirement plan that is similar to traditional and ROTH 401(k) offerings.

*Recruitment Incentive* Newly appointed Border Patrol Agents (as defined in ) will be offered up to a $20,000 incentive. Duties and Responsibilities:

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

Typical assignments include:

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
• Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.
• Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband.
• Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks.
• Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.

Qualifications:

GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:

• Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
• Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
• Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

• Utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or contraband while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
• Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official.
• Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment.

The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.

There are no education substitutions for the GL-9 or GS-11 grade-level Border Patrol Agent opportunities.

Citizenship : You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.

Residency : You must have had primary U.S. residency (including protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.

Age Restriction : In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).

Formal Training : After you are hired, you will be detailed to the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, for approximately six (6) months of intensive instruction in immigration and nationality laws, law enforcement, and USBP-specific operations, driver training, physical techniques, firearms, and other courses. The Opportunity

The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for multiple full-time, 9-month, non-tenure earning faculty positions in the Department of Nursing Systems at the rank instructor or lecturer. The selected candidates will primarily teach in the online RN-BSN program, and other online courses in our graduate programs, as qualified. The positions will be located on the UCF Academic Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona and are expected to start Fall 2026. The appropriate rank (i.e. instructor, associate instructor, senior instructor, lecturer, associate lecturer, or senior lecturer) will be determined based upon the selected candidates' credentials and prior experience.

The Opportunity:

The University of Central Florida Recreation and Wellness Center employs PRN (as needed) athletic trainers to serve in the supervision and coordination of the Recreation and Wellness Center's overall sports medicine program. • Assist with the coordination and scheduling of student-athletes for medical referrals and determine a student-athlete's ability to practice and/or compete in consultation with the Team Physician(s) and Athletic Training & Risk Management Coordinator.

The Opportunity

The University of Central Florida, College of Medicine (UCF COM) is seeking exceptional candidates for two full-time faculty positions within the Department of Medicine's Aerospace Medicine program at the assistant, associate or professor of medicine rank. These positions are available in either the tenure or non-tenure track. Candidates will contribute to the academic missions of education, research, and clinical services.

The successful candidates will engage in teaching activities across undergraduate and graduate programs, including the development of new courses, and collaboration with interdisciplinary faculty. In addition, they will actively contribute to research endeavors and secure extramural funding to support innovative aerospace medicine initiatives. The chosen candidates will be tasked to:

• Expand the UCF COM aerospace medicine research program, with a focus on hypothesis-driven investigator-initiated externally funded studies. This will be facilitated by a robust human research team and extensive logistic administrative support.

  
  

• Another aim is collaborative research and technology development with our faculty colleagues in the College of Optics and Photonics (e.g., for laser devices) and the College of Engineering and Computer Science, among the 12 other colleges.

  
  

• Support the development of a new Aerospace and Extreme Environments Medical Systems Integration and Rapid Prototyping Laboratory.

  
  

• Design, develop, and conduct experiments in the domain of aerospace medicine and extreme medicine, facilitated by the use of the Aerospace and Extreme Environments Medical Systems Integration and Rapid Prototyping Laboratory and other UCF resources such as a newly established biobank for aerospace medicine and extreme environments.

  
  

• Support the development and operation of undergraduate and graduate training programs in aerospace medicine and extreme environments.

As a national and world leader in space, aerospace, and hypersonics, the University of Central Florida (UCF) has established a center of excellence on this topic and is working to strengthen its research and education mission in this area.

As a part of this broad, university-wide strategic plan, the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applicants for multiple 9-month, full-time faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor (tenure-earning), or associate professor (tenured). Candidates with a strong background in hypersonics and space systems are highly encouraged to apply. Technical fields of interest include, but are not limited to:

Adjacent to UCF is a thriving research park that conducts over $2 billion in funded research, hosting more than 100 high-tech companies and UCF's School of Modeling, Simulation, and Training. In response to this unique locational opportunity, The Center for Advanced Turbomachinery and Energy Research (CATER) was founded to focus on student training and research on turbomachinery and associated energy systems for application in power generation, aviation, and space propulsion. CATER has 9 core faculty members at present, with a staff of 5 research faculty, 15 postdoctoral researchers, and 97 doctoral students. It collectively secured $20.3M of new external funding in FY 24-25 and graduates 13 doctoral students per year on average.

The successful candidates would be part of the UCF HYPERSPACE Center ( ), a Center of Excellence (COE) for Hypersonics and Space Propulsion at the University of Central Florida. The motivation of the center is Speed and Space with the goal of achieving ultra-high-speed flight through our atmosphere, and efficient planetary entry and exit, making space exploration and intercontinental travel as routine as intercity travel is today. The center is a national and world leading center in hypersonic and space propulsion, modeling, aerodynamics, laser diagnostics/sensors, extreme environment materials, and additive/advanced manufacturing with Government and Industry funding. Minimum Qualifications:

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in an area appropriate to Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Applied Mathematics at the time of appointment. We present an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled researcher to join our team as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Inorganic/ Organometallic Chemistry at the University of Central Florida (UCF). This unique position offers a blend of advanced research in molecular inorganic and organometallic chemistry, with a downstream interest in reactivity, catalysis and relevant mechanistic investigations.

The successful candidate, housed in the labs of, and co-advised by Professors John Gordon and Titel Jurca, will play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge molecular inorganic chemistry. Responsibilities include the synthesis and characterization of novel coordination complexes employing techniques spanning conventional air-free synthesis, to alternative sono- and mechanochemical methodologies. Relevant complexes will be further studied for reactivity, with potential application to catalytic processes. Additionally, the candidate will participate in standard laboratory responsibilities of upkeep/maintenance, the collective supervision of graduate and undergraduate students, and dedicated activities related to professional development.

Responsibilities:

Research: Conduct advanced research in the synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of novel molecular inorganic complexes. Collaboration: Actively collaborate across both Gordon and Jurca groups, and the REACT cluster at UCF, in pursuit of the research goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in organometallic, inorganic, or catalysis chemistry. Strong background in standard molecular analysis techniques including NMR, FTIR, mass-spec, scXRD (not required but desirable). Experience in air-free synthetic techniques (Schlenk line, inert atmosphere glovebox)

Inside Sales Representative- Entry Level

The Inside Sales Account Executive role will call on customers that J.G. Wentworth has identified through our multi-channel marketing platform to offer liquidity for their future payment streams. Ideal candidates will have a strong personality, sense of individuality, and a drive/determination to help others. People skills and empathy are valuable traits that will allow candidates to thrive in a rewarding and prosperous career.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers using warm leads from our existing database through various channels (phone, email, SMS, etc.)
• Build trust with empathy — listen to customers’ personal situations, understand their financial needs, and guide them through structured settlement options.
• Work and collaborate with members of cross-department teams to manage active, in-process business and provide exceptional, responsive customer service.
• Negotiate, deliver, and follow through to completion on client transactions.
• Responsible for achieving monthly KPIs set by management.

• Bachelor’s degree OR prior experience in sales, customer service, or related field
• Strong communication skills — persuasive, confident, and an active listener
• High energy, competitive, and motivated by results
• Ability to think critically, analyze risk, and problem-solve on the spot
• Team player who can also excel independently
• Detail-oriented and professional, with a passion for helping others

Compensation: $40,000 base pay + uncapped commission with annual earning potential upwards of 75,000 and above.
