We are looking for a candidate to work for one of our large energy companies. This person will verify generator and power plant models so the fleet stays technically accurate and NERC‑compliant. Act as the technical expert during audits, work with plant teams and vendors, and lead improvement initiatives across the generation fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own verification and validation of generator, excitation system, governor, and inverter‑based resource (IBR) models
- Ensure compliance with NERC standards (especially MOD‑026 and MOD‑027)
- Lead fleet‑wide improvement initiatives related to modeling, data quality, and compliance
- Act as Duke Energy’s technical subject matter expert during NERC and regulatory audits
- Work directly with plant/station teams, transmission planners, OEMs, and vendors

Must Haves:

We’re seeking a Senior IT Program Manager with expertise in Transportation & Logistics Program Management to lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives across transportation, delivery management, and supply chain operations. This role owns the end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale programs, with a strong focus on DOT compliance, on-time fulfillment (OTF), driver exceptions, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

What You’ll Do
- Lead and deliver large, cross-functional transportation and logistics programs aligned to enterprise strategy
- Oversee program planning, scheduling, budgeting, pricing, and technical execution
- Manage one Program Manager and several Senior IT Project Managers; coach, develop, and scale high-performing teams
- Drive stakeholder alignment across operations, IT, vendors, and executive leadership
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across interdependent initiatives
- Own program financials, including budget planning, cost justification, and vendor spend
- Lead RFI/RFP processes and support contract negotiation and vendor management
- Partner with portfolio sponsors to prioritize initiatives and deliver business impact
- Champion enterprise program management standards and best practices
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of program management experience
- 5+ years of people management experience, including leading managers or large teams
- 5+ years of experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, distribution, or network strategy
- Strong understanding of transportation operations, delivery management, DOT, OTF, and driver exception handling
- Proven ability to lead complex programs and engage senior and executive stakeholders
Compensation
$70/hr to $85/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Position Summary
The Construction Program Manager oversees a portfolio of construction projects and ensures they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with organizational goals. This role coordinates multiple site managers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to successfully execute capital construction programs from planning through completion. The Construction Program Manager provides strategic oversight, manages risks, ensures compliance with regulations, and drives consistent project delivery standards across all projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects within a larger capital program.
- Develop and maintain overall program schedules, budgets, and delivery strategies.
- Supervise and support project managers, site managers, and project teams.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Oversee procurement processes including RFPs, contractor selection, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Identify program risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and permitting requirements.
- Review project documentation including drawings, schedules, cost reports, and change orders.
- Manage program financials including forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting.
- Provide regular status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements and standardization across construction projects.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial, infrastructure, or capital construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and project delivery processes.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or LEED accreditation.
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-million-dollar construction programs.
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, etc.).
