Jabil is seeking a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Test Development for our Austin, TX location who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Intelligent Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to developing end customer product solutions.
You will be responsible for managing the technical direction of Rack scale test software and integration development programs through the lens of the customer, factory, and services. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

As an AS II in PI, you will partner closely with science leadership, business stakeholders, applied scientists, economists, and engineers to solve key business problems that are at the core of economic prediction and cost optimization for Amazon, empowering downstream teams to make high-velocity, high-quality profitability decisions for both short term and long term. You will utilize massive data, state-of-the-art scientific computing, econometrics, time-series forecasting, and machine-learning, etc. to do so. Some of the science you create will be publishable in internal or external scientific journals and conferences. You will work closely with a team of economists, applied scientists, business analysts, data engineers, product managers, and software engineers. The team is unique in its exposure to company-wide strategies, and operates at the research frontier of utilizing data, machine-learning, artificial intelligence to inform business profitability strategies.
Key job responsibilities

Job Summary
The Signal Lab in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech is seeking a Research Scientist to lead and advance cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence. The role will involve laboratory management, project oversight, and business development activities to name a few.
Responsibilities
1. Research Leadership in Foundation Models, World Models, and Frontier AI
- Lead and execute advanced research programs in large-scale AI, including foundation model architectures, multimodal representation learning, world models, agentic systems, and self-supervised learning at scale.
- Design and evaluate new training algorithms, model architectures, and scalable pipelines for language, vision, audio, robotics, simulation, and multi-agent environments.
- Develop GPU-, TPU-, and cluster-optimized training frameworks, distributed training systems, and inference-time optimization pipelines for next-generation AI models.
- Publish high-impact papers in top AI/ML venues, release open-source tools, and contribute to Georgia Tech's AI research leadership and national strategic priorities.
2. Lab Management and AI Compute Infrastructure Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the AI research lab, including GPU clusters, high-performance storage, distributed training stacks, and data governance frameworks.
- Manage, maintain, and expand high-performance compute infrastructure: multi-node GPU clusters, distributed data loaders, RL/simulation environments, and model evaluation frameworks.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance and Operations and supporting the Director and Associate Director, with support for up to three additional faculty, the faculty assistant provides a wide range of complex office administration and support at the Center for Bioethics. Executive support for the Center Director and Associate Director:
- Communicates professionally and effectively on behalf of the Center Director and Associate Director to both internal and external parties.
- Manages incoming mail and email, including identifying and tracking time-sensitive or high-priority communications to ensure prompt attention.
- Drafts and edits correspondence for a wide range of audiences, proactively handles scheduling requests, and manages unwanted subscriptions.
- Maintains complex calendars for the Center Director and Associate Director, including scheduling and prioritizing appointments, and coordinating across institutional calendars.
- Arranges complex travel, prepares detailed travel itineraries, and processes expense reports and reimbursement forms.

- Acts as liaison to facilities and IT regarding routine office repairs and issues, reporting, tracking, and following up on resolution.
Process Development:

Examples include (but are not limited to): overseeing the procurement and tracking of office equipment, maintaining and updating inventory systems.

Program and Event Support:
- Provides support for Center programs, including website updates, and assistance with events such as conferences, lectures, seminars, and public forums.

Summary
Directs and manages the care of designated operative patients and performs an ongoing patient assessment, creates and maintains a safe environment, and implements and enforces all policies and procedures. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Develops a plan of perioperative nursing care based on patient assessment including physical, psychosocial, cultural, growth, and development dimensions.
Job Duties
- Assists operating physician with surgical tasks such as homeostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.
- Contributes to the overall care of the patient before, during and after surgery by using technical and mechanical functions.
- Performs circulating functions such as monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of the patient before, during, and after the procedure.
- Performs scrub functions such as the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.
- Recognizes the need for and initiates collaboration/communication with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and takes actions to proactively resolve patient needs.
- Inspects sterile items for integrity before opening or delivery to the sterile field and verifies the presence and appropriate color change of chemical indicators in all loads.
- Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation and analyzes the assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Controls environment including temperature, provision of warm blankets, use of warm irrigation fluids, monitoring of the sensory environment, control traffic flow, and adheres to safety and sanitation policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Specialized Diploma Nursing
- Less than 1 year Current operating room experience or completion of perioperative internship program.
- Ability to perform assessments and nursing functions as acquired in the basic nursing preparation program.
- Ability to plan, review, supervise, and inspect the work of others.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum ability to circulate surgical procedures
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to scrub surgical procedures
- CNOR - Certified Nurse Operating Room CCICBPN - State of Pennsylvania
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
