The Auto Property Damage Claims Representative is responsible for managing Auto Property Damage claims within our “Auto PD Claim Unit.” This role demands a high level of customer service, patience, and professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment with significant phone interaction. Strong customer service, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. The ability to navigate adversarial situations with professionalism is critical. Comparative negligence claim handling experience is a plus but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Policy Analysis:
- Investigate and interpret policy provisions, endorsements, and conditions to determine coverage for automobile property claims.
- Identify and investigate contested coverage claims that may require a roundtable discussion.
Claim Investigation:
- Investigate auto accidents to assess liability by interviewing first- and third-party claimants, witnesses, investigating officers, and other relevant parties.
- Secure and analyze pertinent records, documentation, and loss scene information to determine proximate cause, negligence, and damages.
Claims Management:
- Evaluate and adjust reserves as necessary.
- Prepare dispatch instructions for field personnel to inspect vehicles.
- Negotiate and settle claims within individual authority limits and seek supervisor approval for claims exceeding authority or requiring additional guidance.
- Maintain effective follow-up systems on pending files, advising insureds, claimants, and brokers on claim status.
- Act as an intermediary between the company, preferred vendors, and customers to resolve disputes.
- Ensure adherence to privacy guidelines, laws, and regulations in claims handling.
Subrogation and Legal Handling:
- Investigate and initiate subrogation processes when applicable.
- Handle and respond to special civil part lawsuits or intercompany arbitrations related to auto property damage claims.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage a customer-focused phone environment by answering calls, returning voicemails, and responding to emails and text correspondence promptly.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail timely and in accordance with state guidelines.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of 1 year of related PD claim experience is welcomed but not required.
- Proficiency in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
SALARY RANGE
The pay range for this position is $47,000 to $55,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

Americas Society seeks an experienced Director of Institutional Giving to conduct prospect research, create, write, and track grant proposals to secure contributed support and prepare reports on funding for Americas Society’s:
- Cultural programs in Music and the Visual Arts.
- Americas Quarterly, the organization’s publication dedicated to politics, business, and culture in the Americas.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of experience researching prospects and writing successful grant proposals and reports to foundations, a demonstrated interest in the mission and goals of the organization, and an ability to meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities
Manage the portfolio of grants and sponsorships made to Americas Society by institutional donors (government agencies, private and corporate foundations) to support the Culture Programs in Music and Visual Arts and Americas Quarterly.
- Prospect for new potential institutional funders (foundations) to support our programs.
- Coordinate with program directors to understand funding needs and timelines, and define a strategy to fully-fund each program.
- Serve as an intermediary within the organization among program directors, accounting, and media relations throughout the grant cycle.
- Write letters of inquiry, grant applications, interim and final reports, acknowledgement letters, and all other documents related to the grant cycle.
- Manage the relationship with existing grantors to maximize repeat donations. Inform them of current and future projects, invite them to visit our gallery and attend our programs, etc.
- Provide all documents to accounting to process payments (invoices, letters of acknowledgement, etc.) and update the information in Fonteva.
- Ensure that the organization complies with terms of funding agreements and grants, ensuring that donors are properly credited in all communications (press releases, website, evites, annual report) and that they receive the corresponding invitations.

- Produce and send invoices to patrons.
- Coordinate with accounting to process payments and acknowledgement letters.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Patient Care and Care Coordination: Monitors, examines, and evaluates the patients conditions. Assists with the care plan and takes appropriate actions to promote the patients short/long-term outcomes and wellbeing. Delivers care plan as outlined, applying independent judgment where appropriate. Collaborates with and communicates patient care plans with other staff, as appropriate. Prioritizes and coordinates optimum daily patient flow and patient experience. Delivers safe and effective care according to policies and procedures. Maintains appropriate documentation of patient assessment, changes in condition, care delivered, education provided, and any incidents or exceptions related to standards of care or compliance with hospital policy. Patient Advocacy and Satisfaction: Listens to concerns, probes in-depth to understand the needs and concerns, and responds to patient needs in an appropriately timed manner. Serves as an educational resource for patients and families on health-related issues. Communicates necessary patient information to family, licensed care providers, and other staff. Embraces the concept of patient- and family-centered care to maintain patient, family, staff, and physician satisfaction. Prioritizes actions according to patient needs and provides input into the plan of care by reporting pertinent information involving the patient and family to the appropriate individuals in accordance with confidentiality standards. Performance Improvement: Seeks opportunities to improve the work environment and processes. Contributes ideas to help identify solutions and supports change implementation. Supports and contributes to improvement initiatives aligned with achieving better patient quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and organizational financial performance. Professional Competency and Growth: Maintains professional licenses and certifications. Completes all required training. Self-identifies and self-manages training and development opportunities. Required Minimum Education:
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact or RN - Reg Nurse (Single State)
