Opportunity at a Glance
The Senior Educational Media Specialist is a seasoned media specialist with at least 5 years of deep expertise in the conceptualization, design, scripting, and story boarding of educational media content. Senior Educational Media Specialists oversee the development of comprehensive media projects, working closely with strategic partners and managing third-party vendors; this includes the creation of new media content, as well as the search for suitable media content within Covista's owned content repositories and/or third-party media libraries. The Senior Educational Media Specialist manages multiple projects during different stages of development, each with varying requirements and milestones. As one of the most seasoned and experienced educational media specialists within the Product Development and Classroom Design team, the Senior Educational Media Specialist has a thorough understanding of digital product design and development theories, processes, best practices, and trends, integrating that knowledge to enhance the student learning experience by leveraging the correct media application, applying flexible approaches, and driving strategic innovation to anticipate, meet, and exceed partner needs. The Senior Educational Media Specialist mentors Educational Media Specialists in the organization in an effort to ensure all educational media created are of the highest quality and impact.
Responsibilities
- Generates vision and strategy that guide media development projects and supports the operations of the Product Development and Classroom Design team.
- Creates original visuals, audio/video, animations, tutorials, and interactives to meet the pedagogical objectives of the course and enhance student-learning outcomes.
- Delivers media products from conceptualization through delivery, both in a hands-on/developer capacity, as well as a leader and mentor of other media stakeholders.
- Manages third-party vendors and independent contractors required to ensure ample resources are available to execute the most comprehensive and challenging media projects.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to create instructional material in a visually dynamic, engaging, and interactive format, while offering suggestions to enhance student engagement and learning.
- Maintains expert level, comprehensive knowledge of online learning principles, adult learning theory, and innovative media technologies.
- Works in a fast-paced production environment, collaborating with various institutional and product development stakeholders.
- Provides senior level leadership to and support of the project team during the development process to identify best media approaches to be used in designing, delivering, and/or supporting of specific learning content.
- Coaches and mentors educational media specialists, learning experience designers, and subject matter experts to ensure the media developed for online/hybrid course delivery is of the highest quality possible and supports student mastery of learning outcomes.
- Creates media development schedules and identifying necessary technical resources based on project timelines.
- Ensures appropriate delivery requirements are included in all media-related contracts.
- Ensures that all content meets media quality indicators and institutional style guidelines.
- Provides guidance and feedback, including documentation, to all stakeholders during media design and delivery; this includes all necessary metadata to support efficient asset management.
- Oversees the assembly of all media elements into the final product.
- Ensures project timelines are met and deliverables meet quality expectations of the institution.

- 5+ years of media industry experience.
- 2+ years of education media experience.
- Extensive experience managing third-party vendors and independent contractors.
- Extensive experience managing complex budgets and ensuring adherence to budget limitations.
- Proven expertise in at least three of the following: video-based media creation, digital product design and creation, application of multimedia technologies in student learning environments, audiovisual editing, and/or digital media programming.
- Exercise management, coordinate, and oversight of all vendor, contractor, and talent cast performances, scheduling, and deliverables—ensuring all media products meet and/or exceed Covista standards of excellence.
- Be a skilled communicator and expert collaborator, able to handle criticism, facilitate design meetings, coach and mentor Educational Media Specialists and Subject Matter Experts, and deliver highly engaging media assets.
- Have the ability to estimate and document production costs and manage a comprehensive media project budget.
- Be knowledgeable in a wide range of media approaches (e.g., video, interactive, animation, audio, etc.).
- Be a seasoned expert in the conceptualization, design, and creation of high-quality educational media.
- Understand professional media workflows and manage the most challenging media production cycles.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a strong working knowledge of contemporary media production standards and systems.
- Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

St. David's Surgical Hospital is part of St. David’s North Austin Medical Center and is the first Level 4 Epilepsy Center in Central Texas for both adults and children. It has its own 24-hour emergency department, a medical-surgical inpatient unit, and a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) for patients ages 17 and under. The hospital is staffed with pediatric emergency physicians, pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, and other specialists who are specially trained to care for children. It also includes certified child-life specialists who help kids feel more comfortable during their hospital stay. About this role:
As a Heart Failure Cardiologist, you will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you will work closely with ~40 cardiology physicians and APPS along with other specialists to provide comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient. Your commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care will help advance our mission of improving outcomes and enhancing the patient experience.
- This is a program build for Heart Failure at Utah Valley Hospital that will house ECMO and VAD patients
- Your schedule would be 5 days per week
- You would have the support of 2 APPs
- Call is shared with another group until the Heart Failure program grows

Compensation: Our generous compensation package starts with a base salary of $718,000, CME up to $4500 annually, a $30,000 starting bonus, and up to a $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable).

JOB SUMMARY
The Fire Services Director (“Director”) reports to the Commissioners Court and receives day-to-day direction from the County Judge. He or she is responsible for the strategic direction, development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive programs relating to fire safety, emergency preparedness, and non-law enforcement public safety. He or she ensures compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards while promoting a safe environment for all personnel, stakeholders, and citizens. The Director serves as the primary liaison with fire departments, emergency responders, law enforcement, regulatory agencies, Commissioners, and the media.
SUPERVISION
The Director reports to the "Court" and receives day-to-day direction from the County Judge. He or she supervises the County’s officials in charge of Fire Protection and Emergency Services, and supervises logistical and administrative staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

- Prepares and delivers presentations to Court, departmental leadership, advisory boards, civic organizations, and the general public, including presentations on fire prevention, arson investigation, and emergency management programs as needed or requested. Collects, interprets, and analyzes data to develop studies, reports, and supporting documentation for departmental planning, performance evaluation, and informed decision-making, including annual reports and other materials as directed. Communicates data and findings in clear, language for a wide range of audiences. Formulates, advises and presents recommendations (including burn ban declarations and limitations on the sale and use of certain types of firework recommendations) impacting departmental programs and county policies, including the development of alternatives and solutions to support legislative, regulatory, and operational initiatives.
- Performs county audits of all homeland grant equipment and emergency management equipment.
- Researches, prepares, and submits grant applications for private, State, and Federal funding for the County’s Emergency Management and Homeland Security projects; administers grant projects and programs.
- Represents Washington County on various advisory committees (HSAC, Regional Interoperable Communication, BVRAC, etc.), and provides County input and assistance by service on various public safety, fire, EMS, and emergency management committees with local, regional, state, and federal government entities and other public agencies to ensure coordinated preparedness and response efforts.
- Attends conferences and meetings to keep abreast of current trends in the field; represents the County Emergency Management Department in a variety of local, county, state and other meetings.
- Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.

SUMMARY:
The Site Security Manager (SSM) serves as the day-to-day manager of a site security team that includes administrative officers, responders, and other security personnel at a client’s datacenter. The SSM is responsible for building a cohesive and high performing team. Reporting directly to the Campus Security Manager (CSM), the SSM works alongside other security team managers in their campus to ensure a safe and secure environment. Additional job functions may include client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, Security Operations Center (SOC) systems maintenance, audit compliance, system monitoring, log maintenance, and access rights maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Actively manages site security personnel; partners with the local branch to recruit and hire, oversee onboarding, training, and development at the datacenter.
2. Coaches security personnel and carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with current policy.
3. Ensures all responders and control room supervisors adhere to policies and standard operating procedures, acting as responder or control room supervisor in periods of increased activity or in the case of absent staff.

The Department of Music at the University of California, Berkeley, is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach a range of performance courses in the Music Department.
These courses include, but not limited to the following:
Music 141 "University Symphony Orchestra"
Music 143 "Gospel Chorus"
Music 144 "University Chorus"
Music 145 "University Chamber Chorus"
Music 149 "University Baroque Ensemble"
Music 141: UCB Symphony Orchestra rehearses twice per week and performs six times per semester.
Music 143: Focuses on the performance of choral music of the African American gospel music tradition with a particular emphasis on contemporary performance techniques. The Gospel Chorus, as is the case with other formal University music performance ensembles, will prepare music to be presented to the public in at least two concerts each semester. Students will be selected for the chorus on the basis of individual auditions.
Music 144: Performs music primarily from the 17th to the 20th centuries including works for chorus and orchestra.
Music 145: A smaller mixed chorus that aims at a professional standard of ensemble singing and explores the lesser-known choral repertory.
Music 149: The performance of Renaissance and Baroque music for voices and instruments.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and interacting with students outside of class time via email and/or bCourses. Some courses may require supervision of discussion sections taught by graduate students.
